Perfect view
With a view of the sea, the accomodation is ideally situated for people who want to have some peace and quiet.
The apartment is neat and divided into three areas: a room with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living area (the sofa can be converted into an extra bed), a separate bedroom with double bed and a spacious bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.
The sleeping facilities could use an upgrade, but offer sufficient comfort for a good night's sleep.
The shower was rather small, but again, sufficient.
The air conditioning, WIFI and television are foreseen.
A large swimming pool across the road was more than perfect.
The neighbours(and landlord) are very friendly and helpful.
Of course it helps if you can speak Italian, but English is no problem.
The whole place is really remote in a closed residence.
(Only one restaurant and a small supermarket in the district.)
A taxi from Catania airport will cost you about 100 Euros.
It is recommended that you rent a car (and check the route to the appartement) in advance.
