About this property

Casa d' Cor, Olhos d' Agua, Albufeira

Casa d' Cor offers visitors access to one of Europe's top 10 beaches.

Built in 2012 and offered for the 1st time in 2016, the house features a planted roof terrace with patio and dining furniture, barbecue/sink and comes tastefully decorated and fully equipped.

We operate a flexible self check-in and check-out for our guests convenience. This means that you can access and depart from the property at any time during your arrival and departure days.

The house comprises a large comfortable and tastefully furnished open plan lounge/dining room complete with wood burner, Satellite TV with English language channels, dining set seating 6.

There is a twin basement bedroom and 2 first floor bedrooms with kingsize beds both with balconies.

On the roof there is a sun terrace with patio furniture and dining table seating 6. A separate utility roof terrace features a barbecue and sink combination for al-fresco dining.

A well equipped kitchen and WC on the ground floor and modern first floor bathroom with full sized bath with shower complete the house.

The apartment is one of a 6 unit terrace surrounded by 9 family villas in a crescent. The road is primarily residential and therefore our property is unsuitable for partygoers, and more geared towards a family vacation.

With the Sheraton Algarve just around the corner the location of Casa d' Cor is prime. It serves Praia do barranco, voted annually as one of the 10 best beaches in Europe.

Albufeira is the hub of holidays in the Algarve, and due to its close proximity to Casa d' cor, visitors have everything necessary for a fabulous holiday within easy reach. The beaches are a 15 minute stroll and the nightlife of Albufeira a 10 minute cab ride.

The localities of Roje-pe and Olhos d' Agua offer many traditional restaurants and bars, supermarkets and shops. All are within walking distance.

The area is well serviced by taxis, which offer an affordable means of transportation. Local buses will take you to Faro, Albufeira and beyond. By far the best option in the Algarve is to hire a car and discover the many gems the Algarve has to offer.

Central to the coastline of the Algarve, Olhos d' Agua is ideally situated to explore the Algarvian province.

30 minutes drive from the capital city of Faro and the airport to the East, 45 minutes from the ancient city of Lagos to the West, and 50 minutes to the thermal baths at Monchique nestling in the hills to the North-West, Casa d' Cor provides you with an ideal base, whether you want to kick back and relax or explore the miles of unspoilt area that the Algarve has to offer.

Sun worshipping opportunities on the Algarve's golden beaches are plentiful. For those looking for that all over tan, Praia Grande can be reached in Half an hour.

Séjour très bien ! Positifs : - Facile de se garer - Annonce bien respectée - Propriétaire très sympa et arrangeant - Pleins de choses utiles (sel, huile, épices, sacs, parasol pour plage, allume-feux, produits ménagers, ...) Négatifs (mais rien de très grave) : - L'insonorisation : par exemple, on entendais certaines fois les voisins, ou bien des travaux tôt dans la rue. - Une chambre n'avais pas d'ampoule pour la lumière (double lit simple, à l'étage) - Le séchoir à linge collé au barbecue (pas pratique si l'on veut éviter les odeurs de fumée) - Porte du frigo difficile à ouvrir + porte d'une chambre qui grinçait fortement Propositions : - faire du tri (et une liste) dans le rangement sous l'escalier pour savoir ce qu'il y a (il y avais des balais, planches de surf, allumettes, parasol, ...). - Plus de multiprises (certains endroits n'ont pas assez de prises électriques) Mais tout étais très bien, merci Dave !

Lovely House
My family and I (Husband and 3 kids - 7, 5 and 4) stayed at this house for a week in July. The house itself is lovely, clean and in a good state of repair.The welcome basket was a lovely touch that had us smiling. The bedrooms are spacious as is the living/dinning area. The kitchen is a decent size too. The location is good, there are two supermarkets within a 5 minutes drive (15-20 minute walk with younger kids), one is fairly large and sells a good range of products including some familiars like Robinson squash. The nearest beach is also about a 15 minute walk although we drove down as the slope immediately down to the beach was a little steep for my kids, if you are driving and want to park you need to get there early. The house is also in a good location for various tourist sites like Zoomarine and Krazyworld. The local people are all friendly and very helpful. The area around the house is quite quiet with foot and vehicle traffic. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance. We highly recommend Tai He Lou Chinese restaurant the staff are lovely and speak good English, a must as my Portuguese is not that great, and their food is utterly delicious (they do takeaway too). The owner is lovely, he ensured that we had everything we needed before and during the stay, we got there a little early as we had spent the previous week elsewhere in Portugal and it wasn't a problem to get into the house a little earlier. I would definitely stay at this property again in the future as we all really enjoyed our time there.

Lovely family property
Great house, nicely decorated, beautifully clean, great location for tourists wanting to visit the beach & nice places to eat. Definitely need a car. Much needed air con & everything you could possibly need as a family including an outdoor area, except a pool. The only downsides are the beds which are very uncomfortable (master kingsize is too hard to sleep on) I had to move into the single bed & the noise, as very thin walls so you can hear absolutely everything next door/other residents in the close say/do. The BBQ is quite small and could do with a raised level to hold the grill but usable. Overall a very good holiday & would recommend staying here but bring your ear plugs!
