Wonderful cozy rustic cabin and property. Riverfront view very nice. Enjoyed fishing in the River. Kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet and a great escape for a few days. The porch swing was great as well.
We enjoyed our stay for the most part. Walking across the busy road to get to the river was concerning. Planned to bbq and the picture of the pit on the website was not what was there when we arrived. Blind on front door would not go down so we had to use a chair to hold it down once we were inside for the night. Little things but still things that should be addressed. We’d go again but probably make sure of things before arriving. Thanks!
Brian did a great job renovating the cabins and adding new! The price is right! We do not stay at the property during the day, as we join family in the area, but this is great for a place to stay.
The photos do not do the property justice! Our cabin was adorable and we had a wonderful time.
It was very relaxing and peaceful!
We were able to cook inside ins outside and we just needed to cross the road to the river!
Love the cabins, love the atmosphere and the cute setup. The access to the river is so nice and I love the whole place. 2nd year coming and will keep coming back.
Nice relaxing stay at a very clean, nicely appointed cabin across the road from the river. Nice and helpful management. Close to town and nice restaurants. Will return again, thanks.
We loved staying at this property. My husband and I needed a little getaway for ourselves. We especially loved the access to the river and the canoes, so we didn't have to drag our own canoe along. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved the ROKU, so we could binge watch in the evening. This was a pleasant surprise and nice touch! Don't judge us. ;-). We certainly would recommend this property and would not hesitate coming back.
Great property and people. Very clean and welcoming. The only issue was the traffic. The noise kinda killed the "peace and quiet". Traffic was less in the evenings. Other than that, we had a great weekend.
We had a great time in Casita Blu #2! It’s right on the river and close enough to town should you want to venture out. Brian was great about communication regarding check in and anything else we might need. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Great location ~ clean cabin ~ directly across from Guadalupe River ~ front porch swing ~ Brian was quick to respond to a request ~ would definitely stay here again.
Overall our stay was great, the only down side would be the busy street to cross to get to the river but I'd definitely go back. We had a great time. The area was beautiful.
Had a great stay here. The cabin was clean and well stocked. There was a nice fire pit out front and easy access to the river right across the street. Really well kept property.

Why they chose this property
These cabins were built in 1935 by a family from the area. While renovating each I am keeping as much of the original features as possible and updates with all appliances, heating and cooling.
What makes this property unique
The river access is across the road from the cabins. The property is along a good swimming and scenic area at Kelly Creek crossing and the Historical Sherman's Mill area. Two miles west is the Hunt Store and gateway to both North and South Forks of the Guadalupe River.
