My wife and I spent four days here in late March, 2018. It is a really nice, quiet, well furnished cabin—perfect for a couple wanting to get away. The king size bed is extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans, nice refrigerator, and full size electric range/oven and refrigerator. All extremely clean. The bathroom is very well done—a huge jetted tub, new sink, lots of hot water (although—as is typical, not enough to fill the tub). There is a nice working fireplace—but gas, not wood burning.
It is located right on the edge of the Mark Twain National Forrest—lots of nearby hiking...which we enjoyed even though it rained most of our trip.
Note: there is no shower, and the kitchen DOES NOT include any spices, cooking oil, etc—just salt and pepper, so bring your own, or stop in Steelville in the way in and stick up on the basics.
Finally, as advertised, there is no WiFi, and it is isolated enough that we also had zero cell coverage. Nor was there any of either anywhere in Cherryville—so you are going to drive AT LEAST 1/2 hour to get connected. This was not an issue for us, but be sure you know what you are getting into.
