Apartment with pool and balcony for family and pets

Nicely furnished apartment in a clean residential area. Located just a few meters from the sea (1 minute on foot), the Atlantic One residence has staff for daily maintenance of shared parts (swimming pool, garden, stairs, bars, etc.). Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, laundry service on request, independent power plant in case of lack of network supply.
Air conditioning, SMART TV with Netflix, leather sofa, new mattress.
The area is guarded, safe and with limited access and nearby there is a golf course and tennis courts.
The apartment is very close to the renowned VIP resort of Cofresì.
The structure is ideal for the family, especially with children. The enclosed garden is large enough to run and play in complete safety.

Breakfast available for a supplement of US $ 5 per person.
The breakfasts served are: Italian, Continental and American.

Pets (maximum 1 dog) are accepted very gladly with permission.
Among the nearby attractions:
the only cable car in the Caribbean.
Ocean World, a water park where adults and children can have fun.
La Fortaleza, historical monument built by the Spaniards.

Tired furniture and cabinetry. Original tiles, newer bathroom. Lacking mosquito screens. Fabulous breeze, hardly needed ac. Easy laundry. Good support from owner. Good location.

Excellent Stay at Emilio's Apartment in Costambar

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Adeline (the local contact) was very responsive in every regard. The apartment itself was very nice and there were sufficient dishes, frying pan etc to cook basic meals (this is not always the case in other properties). The pool area was very nice and the security arrangements to enter the property were easy but effective. it was only 5-10 minute walk to the beach. It was very convenient having Rick's Cafe co-located on the property. Overall it was very good value. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again. Thank you Emilio and Andeline!

Property was not good

Upon arrival to the property, found out there was no TV or microwave. Also, the stove did not work and there was only a sheet on the bed. I had to sleep in my jacket and leggings several nights because it was cold and rainy in Puerto Plata during my stay. It would have been nice to have a comforter on the bed or at least in the apartment if needed. I personally would not stay here again. As stated by a previous visitor the Wifi was not all that good.

It was good but not great cause I checked in with a broken light and fan in the bedroom that was never fixed, if you like watching television it's only internet tv like Netflix, prime and more. Beside that I had a great time. I will come back again.

Dissapointing apartment

A/C bedroom only.Not a major problem with ocean breeze but no screen on balcony slider{which is old,very heavy and clunky to open and close} and no screens on 2of 4 windows in an area with lots of mosquitos. Thus you can't leave windows open for cooling breeze. Shower poor,very little water pressure and overall shoddy workmanship on fixtures. Furnishings,appliances OK. Mattress and pillows sub standard and bedroom lighting is a bare bulb over the bed. Building ,landscape and pool all excellent. On site staff very helpful and friendly. Having a cafe on site is very nice,too.Security good. General impression was that with some upgrades and good work the apartment could be much nicer. I had the feeling from visiting with neighbors and seeing their apartments that I was staying in the buildings only sub standard place. I have rented in th D.R. for 12 years and this was my 1st real dissapointment

An enjoyable stay at Emilio’s Condo

I enjoyed my stay at Emilio’s Condo. The apartment was clean and equipped as indicated, with all the basic amenities (the addition of a microwave would be perfect).The communication with owner and on site contacts was quick and helpful. The apartment grounds were secure and well maintained. The location is within a short walking distance to the beach, grocery’s, restaurants, taxi stand. The city is a short drive away with all necessities, restaurants and excursions available. I would recommend this condo for short and long stay’s.
