Der Empfang durch Monica und Fabio war sehr freundlich und dank unseres Online- Dolmetschers auch gut zu bewältigen. Die Berghütte hat uns beim Betreten erst einmal erschrocken, weil es darin ziemlich dunkel und etwas sehr rustikal wirkte; sie wurde uns aber sehr bald vertraut, zumal das Wetter wunderbar und die Lage mit weitem Panoramablick über die toskanischen Hügel unübertrefflich ist.Fabio schaute fast täglich nach dem rechten und kleine Probleme wurden sofort behoben. Wir wurden im Laufe der zwei Wochen von Fabio mit Wein, Honig, Eiern und Feigen (frisch vom Baum) beglückt.

Sfeervol huisje met een prachtig uitzicht!

We hebben een hele fijne week gehad. Bij aankomst kregen we informatie over de activiteiten in de buurt, dat was fijn. Het huisje is sfeervol en heeft een prachtig uitzicht over Stia. Op de warme dagen was het heerlijk om bij het zwembad af te koelen en onze dochters hebben zich goed vermaakt. We vonden de eigenaar erg aardig en zorgzaam. Goede ligging om Florence en Arezzo te bezoek. We kunnen deze sfeervolle en rustige accommodatie echt aanraden!

Hele fijne vakantiewoning

Mooie, gerenoveerde vakantiewoning van alle gemakken voorzien. Dichtbij centrum van Stia wat een klein maar levendig stadje is met veel te doen in de omgeving. Bij de aankomst was een Engels sprekende dame geregeld die alles rondom de woning goed uitlegde. Hele fijne week gehad!

Skønt hus og fantastisk udsigt

Vi var to voksne og to børn på fire år, der havde en skøn uge i Stia. Huset er super charmerende, lækkert og rent. Udsigten over Stia og bjergene er helt fantastisk. Området omkring huset er rustikt og landligt, hvilket er hyggeligt. Poolområdet er dog en smule slidt og bevoksningen trængte et par steder til at blive klippet, da det dækkede lidt for udsigten. Vi fik en meget venlig velkomst ef ejeren og Monica (engelsktalende kontaktperson) gav en grundig gennemgang af alt det praktisk. I løbet af ugen fik vi masser af gode råd om ture til borge, vindgård, badevenlig flod, restauranter, tog til Firenze m.m. Kan dertil anbefale at besøge Cortona. Desuden forærede ejeren os friske æg en af dagene. Stia er en utrolig charmerende lille og uopdaget by med fremragende restauranter og kun ganske få turister. Stor anbefaling herfra - men forvent mere landlig rustik end poleret luksus.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich &‘ herzlich empfangen. Die Lage des Hauses ist super um zu entspannen. In der nöhe hat es ein kleines Dorf mit allem was man braucht! Wir würden sofort wieder kommen. Danke für alles!

Wunderschön und viel Ruhe

Sehr schön und liebevoll renoviert. Man fühlt sich sofort zuhause. Die Lage ist etwas abseits von Stia und perfekt für alle die sich erholen wollen am Pool. Fabio hat uns zur Begrüßung ein kleines Geschenk überreicht und jeden Tag vorbeigeschaut ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das größere Apartment neben an war während unseres Besuches unbewohnt und wir durften dieses auch nutzen bzw. fehlende Küchenuntensilien holen. Monica und Fabio hat uns begrüßt und Monica (sie spricht englisch) hat uns alles erklärt und uns gute Tips gegeben was man unternehmen kann und wo man gut Essen kann. Wir würden auf jedenfall wieder kommen

Fantastisch uitzicht over de Casentino vallei

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in La Fagiana. We werden zeer gastvrij ontvangen! Van het zwembad hebben we regelmatig gebruik gemaakt. Je hebt vanuit het zwembad en het terras een prachtig uitzicht over Stia en de Casentino Vallei. Het huis is gelegen aan een onverharde weg op een heuvel in een rustige omgeving. De omgeving van Stia is weinig toeristisch, toch is er veel te zien en te doen in de omgeving. Wij hebben genoten!

Einfach mal abschalten

Wir hatten uns auf Grund der Pandemie dazu entschieden, einen Urlaub abseits des Tourismus zu machen. Das konnten wir bei Fabio verwirklichen. Wir waren ungestört und konnten die 2 Wochen in vollen Zügen genießen. Alle Kinder hatten ihren Spaß und wir Eltern konnten gut abschalten. Vielen Dank.

Fijn verblijf

Woning in een rustieke en authentieke italiaanse omgeving, veel te zien, niet te toeristisch, fijn zwembad en mooie ligging, genoten, top ლ(╹◡╹)ლ, heerlijk verblijf, prima internet. Pizza in het dorp bij Vincenzo is aan te raden.

Wunderbare Lage. Sauberes Haus mit großem Grill im Außenbereich. Gepflegter Pool. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Motorrad,Rad- und Wandertouren. Perfekte Betreuung. Das Haus befindet sich mitten in der toskanischen Natur einschließlich "Spinnen und Skorpione". Jederzeit wieder!

Great place for a quiet and peaceful holiday

This home is beautifully located on the north-east side of a mountain with a spectacular view on Stia. When we arrived owner Fabio welcomed us, together with his English speaking friend Monica who guided us around the premises and gave recommendations for sightseeing and other activities including food... They also very kindly helped us when our car had problems by taking us to their local garage and explaining the problem (and getting it fixed for free...). The house is simple but has all you need including BBQ and a comfortable swimming pool. The Casentino valley, including Stia village, is virtually undiscovered by tourists, which gives a more authentic experience compared to the rest of Tuscany. This is also reflected in restaurant prices with pizzas and main courses rarely exceeding €6-8... Final verdict: perfect place for a quiet, calm holiday away from mass tourism

Like stepping back in time.

We stayed here for 7 days. Once I got out of the car I said I didn't want to leave. We were even greeted by a double rainbow. For me it was perfect. I felt like I was home. Fabio greeted us with a bottle of wine and tour of the place. The villa was rustic and homey. The views were spectacular. The weather though a bit cooler than Florence was comfortable and the evenings were perfect snuggling temperature as you watched the evenings blanket the town below you and the lights come on. It was the perfect place to unwind after the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence. I found it difficult to leave. You do need a car to get there. But once there you can walk to the town and back.

Lovely rustic Tuscan cottage with pool

My wife and I visited Stia in mid Sept for 11 days. We used the cottage as a base for our travels; Sienna, Cortana, Rimini and Florence are all 1-2 hours away. The house is very rustic as you will see from the photos, the land around it is large and very flexible; outside oven (we used to make fresh pizza), bbq, multiple sheltered seating areas and the pool. When up in the cottage, you feel very remote, but the village is just 1.5km down the hill - we did a daily shopping trip for fresh products in under 30 min. The host, Fabio, doesn't speak English but he's very friendly. He arranged for an ex-pat, Monica, to be at the cottage as we arrived, which helped tremendously. She was an excellent guide and happy to continue giving help / tourist advice via WhatsApp during our stay. We would/will definitely return to the cottage but would go June to August to make full use of the pool.

Des vacances en pleine nature

Maison atypique pour des vacances au calme. Nous avons apprécié l'environnement, le style campagnard de l'habitation et la vue sur la vallée depuis la piscine. Nous regrettons néanmoins, la proximité d'une maison, non précisé dans l'annonce ainsi qu'un accès à la piscine en terre qui mériterait un aménagement.

Entspannung pur

Sehr schöne Lage, sehr saubere Unterkunft, sehr gepflegte Anlage (incl. Pool), schöne Umgebung, netter Vermieter (sehr engagiert), einziger Nachteil ist die sehr steile (und schlechte) Zufahrtstraße.

une petite maison dans la campagne toscane

Une maison traditionnelle de la campagne toscane avec tout le confort et la piscine. Tout a été parfait. Les propriétaires Fabio et son fils Lorenzo sont charmants et très sympathiques. Ils n'habitent pas sur place mais sont disponibles si besoin. Une semaine très agréable dans un coin très nature de la Toscane. Dans le village de Stia, nous recommandons notre "cantine" la Trattoria Da Filetto, la gelatteria... mais dans la région il y a plein d'autres adresses à découvrir. Nous recommandons cette adresse authentique, entre Firenze et Arezzo.
