As soon as you enter the condo you will be drawn down the hallway to a captivating view of the ocean and immediately feel relaxed and on your vacation. It is on the 14th floor, with an ocean view you will not want to leave. Our condo has been totally remodeled and all furnishings are new. It's a great place for couples, The bedroom has a new king bed and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Perfectly located close to everything you would need or want but away from the crowds. Ocean forest is on the Golden Mile, which is a great place to ride a bike, jog, or just take a leisurely walk and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Ocean. I love my walks on the the beach searching for shells.
The bathroom has been remodeled which includes a brand new spa like shower with a choice of 5 shower settings, it is truly awesome. The walls are tiled, creating a spotless environment.
The bedroom has a new king bed and is also updated with a silver, blue and white color scheme giving it a refined soothing atmosphere.
On the balcony are 2 gorgeous teak and wicker chairs for you to sink down in and hear those waves crashing on the beach.
The living room has a 65" flat panel TV, which sits on the new credenza. wainscoting, in the hallway and living room. We have just added a coffee bar and a new island with stylish white bar stools. All done in soothing coastal colors.
An indoor pool and outside pool are situated for you to enjoy the ocean view.
All towels and linens are included.
A fully stocked kitchen with everything you would need to cook a meal.
Free Wi-Fi and cable.
Ocean Forest Plaza is close to restaurants, shopping, miniature golf.
There are 3 grocery stores located 1 to 3 miles from the condo.
Golf courses and a driving range are just a couple of miles down the road.
All this is so close, yet the building is situated in a quiet, residential area, one of the most desirable in Myrtle Beach.

Quiet, Elegant, With Amazing Views

My wife and I have stayed in VRBOs and AirBnBs in many places both in and outside the country. This apartment, apart from its beautiful ocean views, was one the best equipped places we have stayed. It looks to have been completely updated fairly recently with a tasteful modern decor. We were lacking for absolutely nothing in terms dishes utensils, pots and pans etc. The bed was very comfortable and the place was very quiet apart from the pleasing sound of crashing wave. I highly recommend it!

The PERFECT Location! Everything you need is here!

This place was amazing!!!! The listing is accurate and we received excellent instructions, so check-in was easy-peasy! We have a larger vehicle so we unloaded, using a luggage rack to take all our things up (unloaded it from the hallway, per the host's instructions). Then we returned the cart and moved our vehicle to the larger vehicle lot. There are three elevators and not once did we wait longer than 10 seconds for an elevator. The walk to the beach is walking outside the pool wall, across the street at the crosswalk and Boom, you're there. While we were there we noticed this is the PERFECT location! It seemed that a little further down the beach was congested, on either side of us. So we were very pleased with having good spacing around us while enjoying the beach! Now to the condo & host! They really thought of everything you could possibly need and it was there. I especially liked the large selections of books. I actually chose one of theirs to read on the beach; we weren't there long enough to finish it so I had to order it so I could finish it at home. So thank you for sharing your library with us. They had absolutely everything you would need in the kitchen, some things to use at the beach, extra bedding items and then some. Thank you for sharing this little piece of heaven with us! We hope to come back and stay here again soon!

Family Vacation

I will happily give this location the highest rating. Its close proximity to the beach and quiet neighborhood makes for an ideal landing spot. Elaine was very easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. While I wouldn’t say it’s a complaint it would be more of a suggestion. My daughter and her friend stayed on the pullout couch in the living room. You may want to look at replacing the mattress. They both stated that while it didn’t affect their vacation the mattress was extremely thin and made it hard to sleep at nights. Also one other suggestion; I’m sure it’s a service that supplies the bedding but newer sheets would probably be good. Luckily I sleep on top of the covers most of the time in the summer because you could definitely tell that same set had been washed countless times with the wear. Other than those two suggestions a great week away at Myrtle Beach.

Every year we took a family vacation to Myrtle beach so we knew this is where we wanted our second home. I grew up in England and moved to Kentucky where I met my husband of 40 years. Growing up with the ocean just minutes away made the purchase of our condo perfect. I don't have to miss the ocean again. We love to work on and update our condo, to make your experience at the beach a wonderful memory to get you through until you come back again.

Why they chose this property

We just happened to book a few extra days of our vacation at Ocean Forest Plaza, and fell in love with the condo and the location, and decided on the spare of the moment that we would purchase a condo there. It has been one of the best decisions we have made. In fact we purchased our second unit this passed year. VRBO 1096881 . The building and grounds are maintained immaculately. That was a huge bonus. Now we have lots of friends that also own in the building making our beach trips great fun.

What makes this property unique

Ocean Forest Plaza is situated on the Golden Mile nestled in a residential area making it a more quieter location. It is perfect for shopping, restaurants, miniature golf, ( I love Mount Atlanticus on the corner of 501 and North Kings Hwy ). Tangers outlets are about 4 miles north, and the mall is about 4 miles south. The parking garage is great as it keeps your car shaded and cool in the summer months. Talking a walk on the beach or a bicycle ride down ocean blvd, are great benefits to Ocean Forest Plaza's location. All the unit's are privately owned, about one third of the residents live there year round which helps in the upkeep of the building as they see things I would not.
