Exceptional pool area, fantastic location
Firstly Daniele is so friendly and approachable and pizza night with the other guests was great. The pool is exceptional and whilst we thought it might be odd sharing it with another family, that wasn't the case at all. The apartment was rustic but had everything we needed. We were there during a heatwave and temperatures exceeded 40degC. We were so relieved to have air con overnight. Lastly, the location is excellent. Sinalunga itself is nice but the surrounding towns of Siena, Montepulciano. Pienza and Cortona were stunning and no more than 45 minutes drive. Thanks again Daniele

Absolutely wonderful
We are all sitting at a cafe in Rome, wishing we were back at Daniele’s place. It was beautiful and comfortable, and we really felt like locals, living in the Tuscan countryside. Making pizza with Daniele and the other family there was a real highlight, as was walking up the hill to town for pizza on the roof of Cirifo. The mattresses were super comfortable, and our little terrace was perfect for sitting. It was a special experience for the whole family, and we are so grateful to Daniele.

Wonderful stay
Daniele was great to deal with. Quick and very helpful with advice. His recommendations for restaurants and coffee shops were really useful. The property is just what you think of when looking at Tuscany farmhouses. It is old, stone-built with modern upgrades. The grounds and pool are beautiful. Sinalunga doesn’t have much, but the old town (up a very steep hill!!) is worth a trip - we had the best pizza in a small cafe in the market square. Montepulciano is a must - old streets, architecture and of course plenty of wine tastings. This was a great week, in a great house with a fabulous pool. Our host looked after us very well. The outside pizza oven was a real treat. No hesitation in recommending this house, or this location.

A beautifully restored home in Tuscany.
Daniele and Sylvie were on hand to give us a warm welcome us La Capacciola, a beautifully restored and refurbished farm near Sinalunga. Our apartment was perfect for two people (though could comfortably accommodate four). It was damp on the day we arrived but the weather cleared overnight and we able to use the pool a couple of times - in early October! We visited Pienza and Montepulciano on our first day - superb hill towns still surprisingly busy in October and then walked near Lake Trasimeno on the second. After the walk we visited Panicale, a small fortified town we had passed near on our walk - it's a lovely place and much quieter than its Tuscan cousins! Our third day was spent in Sinalunga where they has a once a year market - you could buy everything from a needle and thread to a tractor and more roast pork rolls than you could eat in a lifetime! Dinner that evening was in Forcillo Ristorante - a true Tuscan venue where we had a superb meal of pica ragu followed by roasted pork and saltimbocca - superb! We left the next day - having purchased some of Danile's own pressed olive oil for use at home in the UK - hope the 2018 harvest goes well!

Location Location Location and Host!!
Excellent accommodation. Not luxurious but everything in very good condition. Air conditioning in every room -very effective and welcome! No electricity cuts when the A/C is on ... (this was our experience in Sardinia last year - could only have 1 or 2 electrical things in use and nothing else if A/C was on!) Free WiFi throughout the apartment- fast and reliable! Almost everything you need in the kitchen - including a dishwasher and washing machine. The exception is for Brits - no kettle!! A saucepan does the same job! The views from the apartment are stunning. The outdoor area is really big and the pool area is also fantastic. We did some days out and explored but also spent whole days just in and out of the pool. Daniele is lovely - he even came to find us in the town centre when we first arrived to show the way to the property. On another occasion involving complex directions he just hopped in his car and let us follow him to the place we were trying to find! Both bedrooms are very spacious. We stayed in the slightly smaller apartment but we were able to view the larger apartment too. Last but by no means least - best pizzas of the holiday were the ones Daniele made with us on our last evening - which he then cooked in his own pizza oven! We will definitely be keen to make a return visit! Absolutely wonderful place and such a lovely welcoming host! Thank you Daniele - you have an amazing home to share.

Probably the nicest place we've stayed in Italy.
We spent two weeks here in July 2018 and it was just about perfect. We picked La Capacciola mainly on the strength of the good reviews and we weren't disappointed. They paint a good picture of what you can expect. Here I'll just add a few things not covered or emphasised by the other reviews. We found it very quiet so I'm not sure why some reviews mentioned the noise (and we are light sleepers with 2 children). Yes, there is a main road next to the farm and a railway track but we barely noticed them - don't worry about it. The views are wonderful (Daniele hasn't done them justice on the website) - you can see Montepulciano clearly and there's a great view across the Val di Chiana to Guazzino. The swimming pool is large: between us and the other family staying there we had 10 people using it and that was not a problem. It's also in a wonderful position above the main part of the property so it has the best views. We stayed in the Ulivo apartment which is small but fine for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The air conditioning in the apartment was a blessing for sleeping on hot nights. Daniele is just the sweetest host. He was so friendly and went above and beyond to help us out and make our stay a pleasure. One night we casually mentioned to him that we couldn't find a can opener in the kitchen: he immediately jumped in his car and went out and bought us one. His Pizza night, when he fires up the wood-burning pizza oven and instructs on the art of pizza making, was one of the highlights of the stay. The night included a tour of his olive groves. The Co-op 5 minutes away is a large supermarket which covered almost all our shopping needs. For a great meal go to Forcillo Ristorante Locanda in Sinalunga.

quiet and centrally located
We stayed here for 5 nights while we did day trips in Tuscany. The farm is well equipped for cooking and a wonderful retreat after a day adventuring. While the weather didn't cooperate for us to take full advantage of the pool, we can imagine it is a wonderful spot in the heat of the summer. It is located within easy walking distance to some great restaurants, too. Daniel was a responsive and friendly host.

A wonderful place to stay in the heart of Tuscany
Sinalunga is a great place to stay, we were greeted by Daniel who made us feel at home very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble. During our stay hebooked restaurants, researched trains, parking places and even a running route for me. He printed off vouchers etc for when we were going on day trips. He was fantastic, but also unobtrusive! The setting is beautiful with a view across the fields, the farmhouse is at the base of the hill that the old town is set upon. the "new" town spreads out from there with good supermarkets shops and general amenities in easy reach. Of note there is an outlet village quite nearby which has all the major brand names at not unreasonable prices if you feel the need. Life in the farmhouse apartment was very peaceful and comfortable, the Air-conditioning worked very well, and we needed it as temperatures hit 40°plus during our stay. We cooked regularly on the BBQ which was very easy to get going. Daniel provided lump wood charcoal etc and he cleaned it out each morning ready for use the following evening. We did not avail ourselves of the wood fired pizza oven but Daniel was very happy to get this going for us if we had wanted it. The swimming pool was fantastic, well maintained , clean and thankfully cool, though during the heatwave the pool Temp naturally crept up. it is quite a large pool with a shallow and deep end. The pool area was clean and regularly tidied with good poolside furniture to sun ourselves and read our books etc. The location is great for exploring the area as we were able to drive very easily to Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano and Siena. We did much more exploring than we had planned but we were very glad we did, then we were able tom back "home" to cool off in the pool prior to our BBQ Dinner. We also had one overnight trip to Venice which was a 4 hour drive away staying in an Air BNB 5 minutes walk from the Basilica booked the day before. staying overnight meant we were able to explore after dark when the cruise ship tourists had gone! We ate out twice at the restaurant recommended by Daniel, Due Apostole, part of a restaurant and wine bar collection based in La Fratta, a large farm 2 kilometres from the town, all local produce in the restaurant. very nice food and a lovely evening setting. (Bring mosquito spray though). We had a lovely 2 weeks and I would recommend this place to anyone. We wish Daniel well for the future of this great spot.

Exactly as shown on line. Perfect for a family of 5.
We had a wonderful stay at La Capacciola. The swimming pool was used for many hours of the day mostly just from our family! The property is beautiful and has fantastic views of the Tuscan landscape out the bedroom window. We had a difficult time finding the property as we arrived after 10:00pm and it was very dark. Daniele stayed available via email and received my "help" message very quickly and came to meet us and guide us back. The old town is lovely and has some great spots to eat. It was very easy to do day trips into Florence, Siena, Montepulciano etc. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy Tuscany. We will hopefully return soon!

About our experiences in Sinalunga (proprietà 6571896)
We (parents with two kids) stayed for almost two weeks at Daniele's farm in Sinalunga. It turned out to be a very good choice from all perspectives! Great appartment (everything was available to make our stay great, e.g. dishwasher, washing machine, very nice and spacious Italian bedrooms, including airco in every room, great garden to play for the kids, superb bbq outside and really fantastic well maintained swimming pool) in a very nice and quiet setting. Many interesting places to visit in the neighbourhood. Typical nice Italian hospitallity! Great host, speaks perfectly English and a very nice mother who did their utmost best to make our stay great! Simply people that everbody likes to have as their daily neighbours. I particularly recommend the olive oil produced from their own orchards!

Gorgeous Tuscan farmhouse with friendly, welcoming owner
My family and I stayed at Daniele's farmhouse in Tuscany in September 2016, and we cannot say enough about how fabulous it is. As beautiful as the photos on the website look, the real thing is even better. The farmhouse, the grounds, and the countryside are all stunning. Looking out the bedroom window or front balcony it seems like you're gazing at a painting, but it's real - a gorgeous vista of rolling green hills dotted with old farmhouses and grapevines, with groves of olive trees and vast fields of sunflowers in the foreground. The apartment is nothing fancy, but was clean and comfortable for a family of 4. It is in a good location to explore the cute small town of Sinalunga, as well as other charming hill towns such as Montepulciano and larger cities such as Siena and Florence. The pool is huge, beautiful, and well maintained. My children played in it happily for hours, and we had it all to ourselves during our entire visit. The host, Daniele could not have been more friendly and accommodating. He responds to emails quickly and helpfully, is happy to give restaurant and travel suggestions, and did whatever it took to make us welcome and happy the entire time we were there. He keeps the apartment and the entire grounds clean and well maintained. We can't recommend these accommodations more highly. We wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely be back to Daniele's farmhouse the next time we visit Tuscany!

Paradise on Earth
We had the incredible chance to stay at Podere La Capacciola Az. Agricola during an entire week in June and this was a marvelous week. We were treated like queens and we have enjoyed every moment of it. I am sure I will be back one of these days. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Great base to explore southern Tuscany
We had a friendly welcome by the young owner Danielle and his family. The rooms are good size, equipped with antique furniture, whole apartment is cosy. There is also an extra living room available to use by guests. There are amazing views on typical landscape and at night you can see Montepulciano. There is good size swimming pool. Sinalunga which is in a walking distance offers weekly market, good selection of restaurants and shops. Owners were really helpful and provided us with leaflets, recommendations and help when we asked for it. I would definitely recommend.

"Un logement très bien si...
"Un logement très bien situé pour visiter le sud de la Toscane, dans une propriété spacieuse et une très grande piscine, bien aménagée, pour se rafraîchir. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par un jeune couple qui se lance dans la rénovation en gîte de la propriété familiale. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et nous recommandons ce gîte. (Nous avons trouvé le tarif du ménage un peu élevé : 80 euros)"
