cette propriétés très bien mais le ménage était pas fait les extérieurs pas entretenus un lit en fers avec trace de rouille barbecue pas nettoyé je retournerai pas dans ce gite dommage

un petit coin tranquille dans une région magnifique!
La maison est située dans le village, au calme et donne sur une cour (peu de nature à part un très beau mimosa). Elle a été bien rénovée: poêle à bois dans la cheminée, grand salon, deux chambres et un couchage possible dans la partie salle à manger sur un clic-clac. Tout est très propre. On peut accéder à la plage à pied, en traversant les marais. Ce n'est pas l'endroit le plus beau de la côte car il y plusieurs bunker sur la plage, mais la location est bien situé pour visiter le côté ouest et est de la pointe du Cotentin, magnifique!

Zuhause bei Freunden
3 Wochen, so lange war das Haus in Rethoville unser Zuhause. Nach unserem Gefühl aber eher so kurz, da wir uns dort so wohlgefühlt haben, daß wir glattweg bereit wären, dort dauerhaft einzuziehen. Eigentlich ist es ein ganz normales Massivhaus als Wohnhaus mit ca. 70cm starken Außenwänden, im Ortskern von Rethoville (einem ruhigen Dorf mit laut Google 130 Einwohnern), ca. 50m von Friedhof + Kirche und 700 m vom Strand. Es hat im EG ein großzügiges Esszimmer und ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer, sowie im Anbau die Küche. Diese ist nicht nur mit allem möglichen was man zum Kochen und Backen braucht ausgestattet, man könnte dort auch an dem Tresen angebauten Tisch sitzen und Essen. Haben wir aber im Urlaub nie gemacht. Im OG befinden sich 2 Schlafzimmer, jedes mit einem Doppelbett, allerdings ist es in einem Raum an die Wand geschoben (Kinder) und nur in einem mittig im über die Gesamtbreite des Hauses gehenden Dachraumes positioniert (Elternschlafzimmer). Das Elternschlafzimmer hat in beiden Dachflächen jeweils ein Dachfenster, was prima für die Querlüftung ist. Aber wer im Kinderschlafzimmer das Dachfenster öffnet und gleichzeitig im Flur, hat dort gleichfalls eine Querlüftung. Neben den Schlafzimmern befindet sich dort auch das großzügig angelegte Bad mit Doppelwaschbecken und Dusche, sowie abgetrennt die Toilette. (Eine 2.befindet sich übrigens neben der Küche im EG.) Nach hinten raus ist ein Garten, wo man Sonnenbaden, Grillen oder auch nur einfach im Stuhl sitzend unterm Sonnschirm chillen kann. Was gefehlt hat, wenn auch den Erwachsenen weniger wie dem Nachwuchs, das ist der Internetanschluß. Aber nachdem wir uns mit den Örtlichkeiten vertraut gemacht haben, wußten wir, leiden die Anwohner dort unter diesem Problem weitaus stärker wie wir nur temporär Anwesenden. Mobilfunk liefert nämlich mit einem dort montierten Sendemast die Dorfkirche bzw. soll sie, aber das Ergebnis ist äußerst wechselhaft. Und wer Internet haben will, hat einen entsprechenden Mobilfunkanschluß auf dem Haus, da in der Strasse keine entsprechende Telefonleitung vorhanden ist. Die Vermieter waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit und sogar deutschsprachig, was so manches im Falle eines Falles erleichtert. Die Region ist mit ihren gemäßigten Temperaturen eine Wohltat, vor allem seit diese in Mitteleuropa inzwischen gern auf fast 40°C steigen. Wenn´s klappt, würden wir also gern wiederkommen.

Environnement très paisible, même les GSM ne troublent le calme, mais ce n’est aucunement de la responsabilité des propriétaires, les photos illustres bien la propriété, et cerise sur le gâteau une douceur dans le frigo vous attend. Superbe région. Christel et Patrick.
