This spacious apartment (140 m2 or 1500 sqft) in a 19th century building is a beautiful mix of traditional charm and contemporary style and comfort. Located in the neighborhood of Avendida, three minutes from the iconic Av. da Liberdade, a tree-lined avenue renowned for its high-end shopping, restaurants and theater district, it is considered the true heart of the city. A five minute walk from Marques Pombal and its metro station which offer easy access to the airport and train stations. This apartment has a western exposure and is flooded with natural light. It is located on a 3rd floor without elevator. Perfect for a working trip, long or short!

We compromise on having 1 day between reservations to assure to total disinfection and sanitation of all surfaces to guarantee your safety.

This apartment has 3 double bedrooms one of them with the possibility of having one double bed or two single beds. The apartment is rented with towels and linen (for stays over one week, a weekly cleaning is included with change of towels and linen). It is also includes a welcome breakfast as well as olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment but you have a lovely balcony where you can do it.

Beautiful Apt needing air conditioning

The apt is beautiful however with no air con on 30+ degree days in late Sept made night sleeping quite uncomfortable No impending arrival email was received which is usual with HomeAway bookings n after 2 emails then a subsequent phone call I was told I had the wrong date. After a stressful 15 minutes Sofia realised her error n all was ok. Not a great start however in a foreign country. The door lock was also tricky for all 4 of us and we had trouble adjusting the shower. Sofia came asap t fix but was not successful. For above reasons I have rated 4 star. Thanks for having us.

A homely place

The photos on the internet don’t reflect just how homely this apartment is even after climbing 3 floors! Sofia was a brilliant host. Extremely kind and was full of information that we found very helpful during our two week stay. Sofia told us about an all day personal tour that was available so we did. Boy, are we glad we did. Ricardo, our driver, took us outside Lisbon and we took in a couple of castles and other places of interest. Sofia kindly booked us a superb seafood restaurant by a port. The restaurant gets it fish in the morning, we chose our Sole and then it was on our plate. We had a salad and boiled potatoes as well as two glasses of wine, all for €45 for the both of us! The only caveat would be the apartment lower down seems to specialize in short term rentals but for groups up to 8. On two occasions we spoke to the occupants and reminded them that there were people above them and to keep the noise down and they did. They were also very apologetic. If you book this place the metro is a good way of getting around but more than anything, listen to Sofia and you can’t go wrong.

Wonderful home base!

Our group of 4 came into town to visit Lisbon and enjoy a Taylor Swift concert. We had an unbelievable time in this spectacular city. The apartment is wonderful and Sofia is an excellent host! She has a wonderful tradition of asking guests to fill out suggestion books and those are a treasure trove of Lisbon, Sintra and Porto highlights! Make sure you give yourself some time to review these books. The cafe across the street is delicious and there is a supermarket right up the block that makes it super convenient! Loved our stay and are already planning our trip back!

Exceptional Stylish Apartment

Spacious, comfortable apartment on the third floor of a traditional building. Very well equipped kitchen and with the bonus of a generous welcome pack. Unfortunately we did not meet the host Sofia but communication with her, via WhatsApp was excellent. Instead we met Sonia, who was very charming and friendly and did an excellent job of introducing us to the apartment even though it was her own first visit ! Highly recommended.

Lovely apartment and exceptionally helpful host

We spent 3 weeks in Lisbon at this apartment and while the neighborhood isn’t in quaint old Lisbon, it is very convenient to the Metro and several bus lines. It is also possible to walk to all the key sites and charming neighborhoods such as Alfama, Bica, Baixa etc. The host, Sofia, is delightful! She is helpful, kind, and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is worry free. I give her the highest recommendation. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. It was a great base to discover Lisbon. A good supermarket is minutes away and lots of restaurants are within a short walk.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and the owner was awesome! She arranged transport to and from airport. We enjoyed the location and were able to walk to shopping, restaurants, etc. Uber was also very reasonable and how we mostly got around to further locations. The VRBO had everything we needed and we even had breakfast waiting for us when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful stay in Lisbon!

This was one of the best properties I have rented. My family and I do travel a lot and have a lot of experience with renting properties. Sofia was wonderful- she took the time to show us the apartment and how things worked which I appreciated. She left Granola, eggs, milk , fruit , jam and cheese for us to enjoy. The apartment itself was very spacious, clean and the beds were so comfortable . There are abundant towels, facecloths, adaptor plugs and an English cartoon channel for the kids! Location was perfect - 1 min to a grocery store and 5 to a metro stop. Only con was the lack of air conditioning. The fans were helpful and the area where the bedrooms were does stay cool. Thanks so much Sofia!

Lovely week in Lisbon

The apartment was perfect and it was very easy to find your way around Lisbon from here. The host Sofia was amazing!!! She met us at the apartment with a warm welcome and took lots of time to ask questions about our interests and help us plan out our week. Having breakfast food in the fridge was so appreciated and delicious. Sofia also organized our airport transfers and a full day tour with Ricardo who was also wonderful !!! Have nothing but good things to say about our stay here. For those who have mobility issues, there is no lift and the apartment is on the third floor. This is clearly indicated in the description of the apartment. Would love to stay here again!!

Perfect Apartment and Wonderful Host

Sofia was a wonderful host. After booking the apartment, she reached out to us to help coordinate rides to/from the airport. She also had a welcome breakfast for us upon our arrival (and inquired as to any dietary restrictions beforehand). She met us at the apartment and took the time to show us how to operate the door locks, the windows, the appliances, the showers, the stereo, and the tv/cable - all of which are different than what we are used to in the United States, so that was really appreciated. She was also available via FaceTime if we had any issues. The apartment was gorgeous - original tiles and wood stairs in the building, original wood doors, shutters, and flooring throughout the apartment, and fully updated kitchen and bathrooms. The apartment was also spacious, beautifully decorated (with fresh flowers in the living room and bedrooms), clean, and very comfortable. We felt at home and enjoyed having a glass of wine on the balcony at the end of our days and relaxing in the living room planning our next day. The apartment is perfectly located just off of Av. da Liberdade and there is a cafe across the street and markets at either end of the block. The neighborhood is quiet at night, which was perfect for getting a good nights sleep with the windows open. Overall we enjoyed our stay and have recommended the apartment to friends thinking of visiting Lisbon. As this was a girls trip, we look forward to returning with our husbands in the future.

Great property in an up and coming area

Great property with loads of space and a balcony. The location is not bad, though is @15-20min walk to the main tourist area, but there are plenary of good restaurants @5mins walk nearby. Sofia, who manages the property, is so helpful with everything including sorting out a welcome breakfast which was lovely. Sofia also arrange for parking (paid) in a nearby garage which is a must and saved both money and time looking for a parking space.

Gorgeous apartment!

This apartment was so beautiful. It’s an old apartment that has been beautifully renovated retaining many original features such as the shutters on the doors. As it’s an old building there are quirks to the apartment which added to its charm. It was extremely hot during our stay and there is no air conditioning but Sofia the host guided us on keeping the apartment as cool as possible during the day and getting the air flowing through in the evening and we were fine. Sofia was a wonderful host, greeting us on arrival and showing us how everything worked. A welcome basket was also provided. We were made to feel at home. Location wise the ‘main city’ is easily walkable. 15 minutes in an Uber from the train station Entrecampos to the apartment EUR 11. 20 minutes to the airport EUR 13. We found the Ubers to be very cheap and used them to visit the oceanarium and 360 Amoreiras during our stay. We had a late flight on our departure day and Sofia very kindly let us use the apartment right up until we needed to leave for the airport which meant we could enjoy the full day in Lisbon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lisbon and this apartment. It’s a great base for a city break.

Family Trip to Lisbon

We could not have been happier with our choice of property and location for our family holiday to Lisbon. We stayed for 9 nights, and the apartment was perfect for us. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect, we enjoyed our walks in to the city and for anything further we used Uber which was very cheap. I have to thank our host Sofia, who was there to great us and make sure we knew everything we needed to know about the apartment and location. Sofia was amazing even before we arrived and arranged a fantastic day for us visiting Sintra, the surrounding area and beaches along the coast. We had an amazing lunch that Sofia also booked for us. Thank you Sofia for making our stay perfect!

S’Wonderful

Our stay at Pimenta was great - we could not have asked for more! The location of the apartment is fantastic. Its in very close proximity to all amenities and great places to eat. Sofia was so lovely in greeting us and ensuring we had everything we needed and telling us about the apartment and various neighborhoods to visit and recommendations. We had a sincerely great stay.

Awesome home away from home

The apartment was great. We were there 9 nights and all the details were all taken care of for us so we could enjoy or family vacation. Sofia offered us great information on places to see or eat. Home Away From Home

I can't begin to tell you how sad we were to leave. Right from the day we booked, Sofia reached out and by the time we arrived, I felt like we were meeting an old family friend. My husband and daughter have food allergies and I was so touched that Sofia thoroughly read every ingredient label on items she purchased for us. With two teen kids space was important to our sanity and this place did not disappoint. I loved going to the corner store every morning and buying fresh bread rolls for breakfast, still warm and tasty. The apartment has everything you could need, well stocked and clean with great natural air flow when windows are open. Close to a metro stop but we did walk a lot and used Bolt (like Uber). Lisbon gem

Sofia was the best host and contact! She was amazing in ensuring we were well taken care of during our stay. To quote her: “I have your backs!” The property is well located with half hour walks to many places in Lisbon. Restaurants right around the corner. Recommend highly Chu Chu for genuine Portuguese chicken! If you want a pied-à-terre in Lisbon, it is a great spot. Sofia, thank you for your warm hospitality! You made Portugal proud for these first time visitors.

The best VRBO out of many

We now have been spoiled! This apartment was so comfortable and beautiful we are sure to be disappointed in future rentals. Sofia was warm and helpful and even left breakfast for us. The apartment had everything we needed. I wish we could give it more then 5 stars. It was so comfortable and homey.
