"Memory Maker" formerly Hangin 10 Beachfront Private Heated Pool Elevator

Memory Maker (formerly Hangin 10) is back and better than ever. This wonderful home has 8 spacious bedrooms, each with a private bath and Smart TV. 4 King bedrooms, 3 that each have a pair of Queens, and 1 with a Queen plus a Twin over Twin Bunk. 4 of the bedrooms (3 kings, 1 pair of queens) are beachfront with beachfront porches. All bedrooms have private baths, and Smart TVs.

The main floor features a large great room opening to a beachfront porch and your own private pool. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators, 2 ranges and 2 dishwashers plus a tremendous amount of counter space so you can comfortably cook for a crowd, and there is dining space for everyone. You'll also find a half bath on this level.

The middle floor features 4 bedrooms, each with a private bath. There are two beachfront Kings, one is handicap accessible including a bath with a roll-in shower. The NE bedroom has two Queens. The NW bedroom has one Queen, plus a Twin over Twin Bunk. You'll also find a laundry in the hall.

The top floor also has 4 bedrooms including a beachfront King, a beachfront Pair of Queens, and on the north side a King bedroom, and one with a Pair of Queens. The second laundry is located on this floor.

The beachfront Private Heated Pool is the perfect place to relax (heatable October through May for $60/day).

Memory Maker is located about 3 miles west of Hwy 59, a few hundred yards east of Lagoon Pass which offers great fishing as the tides flow in and out of the lagoon. You'll be close to restaurants & shops but away from condos & crowds.

Sorry! We are unable to rent to groups under the age of 25. No bachelor or bachelorette parties.

Wonderful Ladies Retreat

We've been to Gulf Shores over 10 times and this was the best place for our entire extended family. 2 ovens, 2 ice makers, 2 refrigerators, 3 sinks! Really made things easy. 16 people fit very comfortably and the rooms were all spacious with attached baths. Spacious beach and relaxing pool. We would 100% come back to this amazing place.

Disappointed....

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival we were pleased with the house but that dissipated through the week. The home needs a good 'deep cleaning' and refresh. There are 2- stoves, ice machines, dishwashers, etc. but multiple eyes on the stoves that don't heat fully, dishwasher racks broken & both extremely dirty, one ice machine that is extremely slow to produce. No access to any brooms/vaccuums so no way to clean up after yourself. To note, we did make a call to maintenance and someone came out and reluctantly opened a door for us to have access to a vacuum. Running the disposals throws a repulsive smell as does changing bags in the trash can. Dishes put up dirty and kitchen shelves that are food and dirt stained. Used razors and hair in showers/on towels, disgusting! The home is in a great location and an easy walk to the beach! Lots of beach supplies at the house that we weren't aware of (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc). Plenty of space and we enjoyed the large kitchen island and plenty of furniture at the pool deck! We loved Janino's Pizza and stopped in Waves for quick groceries, both just a few blocks away and always love Cobalt and the Hangout for our meals away from the house!

Family get away
Everything was just how it was presented. Met our expectations and was clean and so easy. The only thing is we didn’t know there was a closet with beach chairs and toys until we already rented chairs. We thought it was locked. Also one of the bedrooms didn’t have a chair,which gave us nowhere to sit even to put shoes on or anything. But overall it was very very nice. Would recommend it for sure.

Family Thanksgiving
Spacious house with plenty of privacy on bedroom floors with laundry on each. The kitchen, dining, and living space was perfectly arranged with plenty of room. We had as many as 6 adults cooking at one time without tripping over one another. The outdoor decks and pool were wonderful with excellent beach views and access. We all had a marvelous time.

Plenty of room!
There were 13 of us and we never felt “on top of each other” at all. Comfy beds. Updated, beachy decor. Loved having two of everything in the kitchen! Great location! Plenty of seating in the kitchen/den area. Easy check- in and check- out process. Only things I would suggest are to provide the kitchen with more Tupperware/storage containers. Kitchen flooring needs to be re-done, and carpet pulled from bedrooms, but it did not hinder the beauty of this home. Just suggestions! We would definitely come back to this home in a heartbeat!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for our families gathering. The elevator made it so easy for our older family members to access all floors. Pool was amazing to have but the beach was perfect. Our own private boardwalk to the beach and where the house is located there were very few people near our home. The house has everything you could possibly need. We had a problem with a lock on the door and the management company had a repair man at the home within an hour. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In the kitchen there’s two of everything refrigerator icemaker‘s stoves three sinks everything . There’s also a washer and dryer on both of the bedroom floors. I recommend that you bring extra toilet paper and paper towels and Kleenex if you need them. Everything else was provided for cleaning etc. There was no spices or anything as stated in the description we love this house and are planning to rent it again in the future.

Reviewer Comments: The house had a great design three floors elevator open concept floors were downstairs where coming up from water damage mold underneath ice machines upstairs carpets need to be replaced very old and raggedy The pool was not described as the right size very small not suitable for 15 to 20 people brick trim around edge of bull was all coming apart and easily someone could step on it and fall into the pool or on their back on the deck Deck was very small for the amount of people that could staying there. Also everyday we saw three to five rats in the sand underneath the house and under the pool. The refrigerators were not cleaned out before we got there one smelled so bad of fish and it never got cleaned out before we left both refrigerators needed maintenance to look at it to get them a little colder. Air conditioning in the house worked very good but mostly the house needs updating floors carpet pool cosmetics in my opinion the house was not worth the amount of money we paid for a week. This house is very overpriced

Great Vacay!

We had 20 adults and 5 littles (ages 2-8) and no one felt crowded or cramped or on top of one another. It was beautiful but also comfortable at the same time. The pool was smaller than what we were expecting, but we enjoyed it very much. The distance from the boardwalk to the water was so close that we didn't even take a cooler when we went; just ran back to the house when we needed something. The Saturday we checked in, the a/c unit on the 2nd floor was not working; they sent someone to look at it. He couldn't fix it, so they sent another guy out who replaced it that very evening! I was shocked at how quickly that happened. Any time I needed to get in contact with the property managers, they responded immediately to my questions or concerns. Absolutely would recommend this property to anyone looking for a house this size.

Great House
There were 12 adults and 9 children, The lay out of the house was perfect for a group this size. The washer and dryers on the second and third floor could be bigger since towels have to washed, dried and folded before you leave on the final day. Overall this was GREAT. Looking to forward to using this property again next year and the following years long term.

We walked on the beach every morning, danced on the boardwalk at night, and listened to the ocean waves from our bedrooms. We cooked several meals in the house and had everything we needed. We were able to ride bikes to get groceries, drinks, etc... also appreciated that there were beach chairs to use! Can’t wait to return.

Extended Family Beach Vacation

It was very spacious, comfortable and accomadating for our extended family of 17. Our family consists of small children, teens, adults and seniors. This house was perfect for all of us. Plenty of dishes and kitchen wares. Laundry was great on multiple levels. Bedding, blankets and towels were great. However, all things have their faults. The door latch/frame going to the beach could use an update. We had to bolt it on windy days because the door would not latch. The main large table was so sticky,full of glitter and gross stuff in the cracks, so we had to buy a table cloth. It's made of wood so there was no cleaning. It's in need of being re-finished. The previous house owners had a complex in home networking system that did not work and maintenance could not figure out. We had no "smart" TV service because we couldn't get the hard wired internet service OR the wifi to work on the bedroom TVs. You may wonder who needs WIFI on a beach vacation? Well, small children decompress with a good movie at night. Plus with virtual learning, we were hoping to keep up with that. It didn't happen. One of the refridgerators died while we were there. We caught it early enough to save our food. However, that lead to no drinks in the refridgerator. Thank goodness both the ice makers worked! One of the microwaves was broken when we arrived. That was "fixed" on day 2. However, when we went to pop popcorn, it only popped 1/2 the bag. Again, we had another, so not a big deal. Appliance break down is the luck of the draw. You never know when it's going to happen. Overall, we loved our stay! The house could just use a litte updating on a couple things. I forgot to mention the location. We stayed a couple of years ago further down the boulavard on the Lagoon side. We LOVED this location! On the ocean is the way to go. Also, it was closer to groceries, shops and activities. It was perfect for us. However, your beach gets used by the public

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hang 10 checks all the boxes for a large group or family especially in terms of the cooking and eating arrangements. As with any house on the beach, this house had a few maintenance issues that required attention. Internet service always seems to be a problem no matter where you rent in Gulfshores, and other items such as one of two microwaves not functioning halfway through the week and a charcoal grill that really should be replaced contributed to Relatively minor disappointments. Otherwise, everything was as we hoped and the pool and location on the beach were highlights.

Perfect vacation home for large groups
This was perfect for our family of 15 - kids and grandkids. There are two each of appliances in the kitchen, plus three sinks, which made cooking and cleaning much easier. There was even a KitchenAid mixer! There are two washers/dryers, one on each bedroom floor. The layout of the house is perfect, with plenty of room for eating and playing games. The grandkids really enjoyed the heated pool and there was plenty of outdoor furniture. We really appreciated the communication by text as to any issues we had. We had a small issue with the a/c on one floor and one clogged sink but they were both resolved within 24 hours. Overall, a great stay and we would highly recommend this house.

Awesome Beachfront House
The location and house were fantastic! We paid extra to heat the pool and it made all the difference. We lost internet and tv on our 2nd day (apparently outages happen quite a bit) but they brought a hotspot so we could watch Netflix/Prime. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house for large family
We were very pleased with our stay during Thanksgiving week. Hanging 10 was in great shape when we got here. The house was very clean and kept up. We cooked 3 meals a day and loved that there is two of all major appliances in the kitchen. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Gulf Shores.
