An Enjoyable House

The house was as pictured and described. It is very well located on a low hill in a very flat area with great views to the distant sea, The owner was very helpful about accessing the property and quick to respond when there was an slight issue - even though it was outside his control and he was overseas at the time! The house is very well fitted out and the pool is very clean. The local villages are charming with many good restaurants. We found the linens and towels provided to be perfectly fine. Overall a relaxing and interesting location to spend a week on holiday and the house is good value for money.

Pleasant house and location, but .....

We expected 3 proper bathrooms. Looking back the description is carefully worded and correct, but the property actually only has 2 bathrooms (no toilet) and 2 toilets. For this reason we would not book again. Also the 220 Euros requested for linen (some well past their best) and cleaning were not included and were excessive in our view.

nous n'avons pas vu le temps passer en journée, beaucoup d'activités possible aux alentours le soir, retour à la maison : piscine ou simplement ne rien faire, savourer la vue qui semble illimitée ...

Beautiful house in stunning location with lots to do nearby - very highly recommended!

We had a lovely week staying in this beautiful house with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside and down towards the sea. The house is well-equipped and very comfortable with a lovely garden. Alexandre was very welcoming and helpful and gave us lots of useful pointers on what to see and do locally. We enjoyed visiting beaches along the coast, the stunning scenery at Cirque de Mourèze and Lac du Salagou and trips further afield to Carcassonne and Peyrepertuse. On the last evening we were able to watch a superb firework display over the Canal du Midi from the garden! Thank you for a great week!

Nous avons séjournés chez Alexandre au mois de juillet dernier pour notre plus grand plaisir. La maison est très confortable et fonctionnelle avec tout ce qu'il faut en terme d'aménagements intérieurs, ustensiles de cuisine, produits ménagers... Le jardin et la piscine surplombent une vue splendide sur la mer, les vignes, le canal du Midi... C'est d'un très grand calme. La piscine est très agréable et sécurisée. Alexandre est très disponible et soucieux que ses hôtes passent un agréable séjour. Il est d'ailleurs de très bons conseils concernant les choses à voir aux alentours, les bons restaurants ou bien les activités proposées. Nous reviendrons très certainement chez Alexandre chez qui nous nous sommes senti comme chez nous.

Wunderbares Haus, super geeignet für Familienurlaub

Das Haus und der Garten bieten viele Möglichkeiten, wir haben mit vier Erwachsenen und vier Kindern eine tolle Zeit verbracht. Gut gefallen haben uns auch die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten, wahlweise im Schatten oder in der Sonne zu sitzen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wunderbare entspannte zwei Wochen

Wir verbrachten insgesamt zwei Wochen mit zwei Familien (4 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder zwischen 1,5-4 Jahren) in diesem Ferienhaus auf einem Hügel mit Meerblick in Portiragnes. Das Haus ist komplett und hochwertig ausgestattet und in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Außenanlagen sind ebenfalls gepflegt. Grill, Lounge, Terrasse, Hängematte, Kinderspielhaus, Trampolin und kindersicherer Pool: alles in gutem Zustand. Insgesamt sehr angenehme Wochen mit einem sehr zuvorkommenden Vermieter. Alexandre hat sich mehrfach erkundigt ob alles in Ordnung sei und kam sogar zwischenzeitlich vorbei, um den Pool nach einem kurzen Gewitter zu reinigen. Absolut empfehlenswerte Location!

Trés bon séjour dans une belle maison sur les hauteurs de Portiragnes avec une vue non moins splendide. Quartier calme, proche de toutes commodités. Autre que la plage pas trés loin, le canal du midi pour se ballader n'est que du bonheur, et avec des vélos c'est encore mieux. Pour se reposer, la maison est idéale avec un grand terrain trés bien ombragé et une petite piscine pour se rafraichir. De trés beaux sites à visiter pas trés loin. Merci à Alexandre, le propriétaire des lieux, pour son accueil aussi généreux, sa disponibilité et ses conseils pour visiter les alentours. En bref : adresse à conseiller pour toutes familles jeunes et moins jeunes. Françoise

Une très bonne adresse

Située dans un quartier calme sur les hauteurs de Portiragnes, nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette maison bien équipée en famille (3 enfants : 9, 7 et 5 ans) avec une petite piscine sur la terrasse, idéal pour surveiller la marmaille et se rafraichir à toutes heures ! La vue est imprenable et nous gardons un excellent souvenir des repas pris au calme sur la terrasse avec la mer au loin. Le village est accessible à pieds ou en voiture et plein de vendeurs de fruits et légumes du pays aux alentours. Quelques plages agréables à quelques kilomètres de la maison vous seront conseillées par le propriétaire très sympa et accueillant qui connaît bien la région.

Superbe maison dans une région non moins superbe ! Elle offre de grands volumes, elle est lumineuse, fonctionnelle, dotée d'une piscine et d'extérieurs sympas : nous n'avons d'ailleurs pas fait la moitié de ce que nous devions faire tant on s'est sentis bien dans la location !!! Pourtant les environs de la villa poussent à la promenade, à pieds ou en vélo. Le tout couplé à un temps magnifique pendant 3 semaines et vous avez les clés du bonheur pour des vacances d'été en famille. Wonderful house

A wonderful house with a beautiful view of the ocean. Situated in a little cozy town with restaurants, cafees, supermarkets, a butcher, 3 bakers, wine shops etc. House is situated 10 min walk from town center. House is very well suited for small children with a closed garden, lawn, a swing and a playhouse. The owner is english speaking, very helpfull, warm and hospitable. The only thing preventing the house from getting "Trés bien" rating is the size of the pool (compared to the price of the house) - but the owner said he was plannng an upgrade :) We had a wonderful holiday in this house.
