The home also features a gas fireplace, wireless network, Roku TV with hundreds of movies for free. There is a laundry room, a bonus room with queen beds, and a TV/DVD for the kids. Amazing Vacation Experience!

We had an amazing 5 day stay at this property, Bill the property manager was there when we arrived & lived close by to the home and responded immediately to any questions or issues we had. The "pond" was the biggest hit with the kids, they loved swimming, fishing, kayaking, etc., & the home itself was large enough to accommodate our family. We would absolutely stay at this property again! So much to do in the Door County area is another bonus to this location!!

July 4th Week

This was the perfect stay for our family. Bill was amazing! He was friendly and available. He was also really helpful in terms of activities for the kids. He took us out for the fireworks on his boat, and it was absolutely amazing. The house and property are in perfect location with plenty to do and plenty of space. We recommend this house for a fantastic summer getaway.

Great place to stay! The grandkids loved swimming in the pond and the older kids/adults enjoyed fishing right out the back door. The home was beautiful and clean, and was located at the end of a quiet road so we felt safe and secluded. I would definitely recommend to families!

William was very helpful! He came over quickly to help with issues such as the air conditioning and broken door handle. He even delivered fire wood for the fire pit! We would love to stay again and try William's half of the duplex! He was great to work with!

What a relaxing vacation!

This is the perfect place for families to gather. The swimming pond was SO fun for the kids--my six-year-old even got to try kayaking by herself! Kayaks and paddleboats are ready and available. The view of the lake is just stunning and it's a quick drive up to Egg Harbor. The house was beautiful and well-equipped, and we used the firepit every night :). Highly recommend this spot for families!

Port Haven North

Beautiful well placed on water. Swimming pond with fish to catch and release. Lots of amenities. We had 4 individuals that were on a work vacation. The internet was practically non existent making it difficult to work remotely.

Sturgeon Bay duplex

This is not a good area for fishing and not ideal for tubing or skiing due to large boats going through the channel to Lake Michigan. To get to the best fishing you need to go through about 2 miles of no wake area through the town. Also the swimming pond had blue die in it which was a little concerning. There were some repairs and replacements needed which in my opinion should not be the case for a rental charging as much per night as this one did. All that being said, we did enjoy the property and had a good time as a family.

It was a great week!

I would highly recommend this property. The home is beautiful and the location couldn't be better. With the lake out the back and your own private pond in front you have your choice of water views. The pond is great for swimming and fishing. We are not experienced fisherman but my 12 year old son and myself caught many varieties of fish. Bill is a great host. He was available throughout the week and even took our family out for a evening cruise on his pontoon boat. Thanks Bill! Sturgeon Bay is a good base to explore Door County. Would definitely recommend spending a day at Whitefish Dunes State Park. My kids really enjoyed the beach and big waves on Lake Michigan. This was our first trip to Door County and we thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely plan to return.

July 2019 Stay

Would recommend this property! Couple things to know before booking though...1. Place is actually a duplex. The picture is of the back of the place, which is actually a duplex. You do not rent the entire house. 2. You share the pond, swim area and lawn with whoever is renting the other side of the duplex. A large group renting the South part of the property came in a couple days into our stay. Their kids were running around playing laser tag on our side. We have kids ourselves, so it didn’t really bother us. But if you are looking for privacy, you may not get it with this property. Overall, Bill was extremely friendly and helpful! Quick to respond to emails. The house had most of what you will need, including a nice supply of firewood to enjoy the fire pit and beautiful sunset!!

Door County wedding

This was an amazing weekend for my wife, family, friends and I. We had a 60 guest wedding in the property backyard. The location and property are perfect for a small wedding venue. The property owner/manager Bill was amazing. I can't say enough!

Beautiful TownHouse, clean and family friendly

you are a family of six adults and four children. The whole family enjoyed the entire property. A pond was great to swim in and all four children caught fish.

Great location, kid friendly

Very spacious with many places to gather indoors and outdoors. Also little extras including kids toys and water toys. Host was responsive and on property frequently to assist as needed. The property itself is a town home so you do share a wall and some outdoor space with your neighbors.

We absolutely loved our visit. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. The properties location was so beautiful with the bay behind the house, and the pond in front. The pond provided a perfect place to swim/ float. The homes owner was so kind and helpful. He even took us out for a pontoon afternoon. Excellent!!

Epic Stay at PortHaven North

This is a perfect location for a large family get together. The pond on the property was wonderful for swimming and fishing which was enjoyed by both children and adults. Bill is an outstanding host, all you had to do was ask and he would accommodate your request. He was available if you needed something but not intrusive in anyway. This is the perfect spot and the gateway to Door County!

We are natives to Door County who are good friends of the former owner of this property, when his cottage was damaged in a fire we joined up together and started construction of the two units on this 3 acre plot.

Why they chose this property

For 10 years we've been coming to sturgeon bay for anything from snowmobiling to fishing or just relaxing by the fire on the beach; its on the end od a road in a private setting with three other homes ; there' water in front and back, the bay out front and a beach on the pond in back; swimming or boating all around you.
