It is less than 100 meters from the beaches free or equipped with locker rooms, cabins, hot showers, umbrellas, deck chairs, bars, restaurants, spa, swimming pools and opportunities for water sports. 4 km away are the archaeological excavations of Ostia Antica, (ex port of Ancient Rome) and the center of Rome can be reached in 30 minutes by shuttle train .. Lovely stay in Ostia

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic apartment in Ostia Lido, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beautiful beaches and close to great restaurants and local shops. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The decor is cozy, making it feel like a home away from home. We especially loved the balcony with its lovely sea views—a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, always available to answer any questions and provide helpful local tips. The neighborhood is safe and lively, with easy access to public transportation, making it simple to explore both Ostia and Rome. Perfectly positioned

We had a wonderful stay in this perfectly positioned apartment just a stroll to the beach. The beach was a beautiful spot for a walk with fantastic views on one side of you and the other lined with different shops and restaurants/cafes to stop and enjoy the coffee or a fabulous gelato. Domenico was very helpful and informative and accommodating to all our needs and the apartment was as listed we enjoyed our stay.

Overall ok - Probably should be mentioned that it is 3 flights up and no elevator. Not that straightforward to get into centre of Rome .

Ostia Adventure

My husband and I stayed at Dom’s place and we had a great time . We asked if we could check in early and bc he was unable to meet us , his mom came and let us in . Which was so kind . Lots of great choices for eating and do NOT skip going to the archaeological site . The apt was super clean and a nice place to call home for a short stay .The beach / pier is 5-7mins walk and there were musicians playing and singing at the pier in the late afternoons/ evening .It was fun ! I highly recommend Doms place bc it was very clean and close to many eatery’s and lots of gelato choices . We sat out at the town square and enjoyed Cuoppa Mars ( fried calamari in a paper cone ) Weather was awesome ( high 60s) We’d def stay here again .

Fantastic location!

Domenico was so helpful. His place is in a great neighbourhood accessible to groceries, coffee shops, local markets, and great restaurants. The place is exactly as described and well equipped for a family or couple’s vacation. Thanks Domenico!

Great location

This was a very nice one room flat with a nice view. The host was very helpful and friendly. Lots of shops nearby. This apartment was on the third floor so it was a workout the first day. However once settled in we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Perfect Sea Side Apartment

Schöne Wohnung, gute Lage

Wir waren zu fünft dort (mit 3 Kindern) und sind mit dem Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist hell, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der einzige Mangel ist, dass das Sofa zum Schlafen nicht bequem war. Die Betten im Schlafzimmer waren laut unseren Kindern bequem. Die Lage ist perfekt, um Rom zu erkunden und gleichzeitig nah am Meer gelegen (ca 15 min. zu Fuß zu den kostenlosen Stränden). Alles in der Nähe und schnell zu Fuß erreichbar: Cafes, Restaurants, Supermarkt usw.. Wir waren ohne Auto hier und haben es nicht vermisst. Was für uns schade war ist der viele Müll und Dreck auf der Straße, wobei es genug Mülleimer gab. Wir würden es nicht empfehlen, mit dem Auto zu kommen, da der Verkehr sehr chaotisch war und der ÖPNV verlässlich,geschickt und bezahlbar ist. Der kostenlose Strand, den uns Domenico empfohlen hat, war in Ordnung, Duschen und Toiletten waren vorhanden. Domenico war ein sehr guter Gastgeber und gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit.

Perfect stay

A very nice apartment in Ostia that has everything you need. The house is located very conveniently, there are shops and restaurants nearby, 5 minutes walk to the sea. The owner of the apartment, Domenico, is a very good person. He met us ahead of check-in time and allowed us to check out later. We also had a problem with luggage. Our luggage was lost during transit and Domenico helped resolve the issue of finding the luggage and delivering it to us. Domenico thank you very much!

Wonderful stay!

This was the 3rd time that my family stayed in Domenico's apartment in Lido di Ostia. We just love it here! It's a short walk to the beach and the train station. Easy free parking. There are shops, restaurants, cafés, groceries and markets right outside the building. This stay is so convenient! We always feel right at home. The bed is very comfortable, there is AC in the bedroom and living area, the shower pressure is fantastic, there's a washing machine and very good wifi. I couldn't find a better place to stay and we'll surely stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

Lido di Ostia

The apartment was just as advertised. Very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Dom our host was quite helpful with getting us acclimated. He had a map of the train system for Rome and explained the metro and how to navigate. His expertise of the neighborhood and surrounding area enhanced our stay. As we discovered, there are excellent restaurants within a couple of blocks of the apartment. It was just what we were looking for during the first part of our Rome vacation.

Wonderful location outside of Rome by the water

Apartment was just as described - lovely! My husband and I had a great stay there. Domenico was a great host with greeting us, giving us recommendations for restaurants and things to do, and he even called the taxi service for us to make sure they understood the reservation I made in Italian. There are some flight of stairs, but my husband I didn’t have trouble with them and you get a beautiful look at the water from one of the landing. Wonderful place to go after a busy day in Rome. Great coffee and pastries at Remundi and Dulce Amore and loved the Mediterranean place called Zaza.

Mooi centrale plek. 5 minuten can hetcdtrandcen 15 minuten lopen naar tram. Geweldig verblijf

Badkamer was niet geheel schoon, de slaapbank was erg doorgezakt, maar het bed was goed. Het ideale is dat je mooi centraal zit en eeinig reistijd hebt om Rome te bezoeken

The apartment in Lido Di Ostia boasts a truly superior location. We were delightfully close to the beach, train, and an array of wonderful restaurants. The only drawbacks were the 6 flights of stairs with no lift, which might be challenging for some. However, this wasn't a major concern for us. Overall, a commendable stay and highly recommended for those who prioritize location.

Minimal Sea View

Great location with many conveniences. Easy access to the metro and restaurants shops. Only negative was the six flights of stairs we had to climb with all our luggage (we were staying in Italy for a month and had six pieces of luggage!) plus not knowing that the public parking turns into a market on Saturdays.. Our car was towed… Dominico was a good host and helped with our unfortunate situation.
