Our 9 day stay at the Little House in the Big Woods
I can't recommend this beautiful cabin enough. Debbie was so nice and professional, it was a sincere pleasure working with her. The cabin was perfect for the three of us, myself, my wife and our 4 year old lab Rose. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen, bathrooms and living quarters were stocked with everything you needed to make your stay very comfortable. The only think we had to buy was our food. Debbie even had a new BBQ there that was awesome, we used it almost every night. The cabin was in a perfect location, very quiet neighborhood, but close enough to the Nevada State line and the hustle bustle of the shopping area around Harvey's and Harrah's, you could not ask for a better spot. The only thing I might recommend is a little better fencing around the yard to keep the dog in, but honestly you wouldn't leave your dog anywhere alone, so it's not really something that is necessary, it would just be nice. Debbie's place is the best cabin/rental we have ever experienced, and I've rented many places. Debbie was alway so responsive to oru questions. In the end I would highly recommend The Little House in the Big Woods to anyone wanting a perfect vacation!!

Cozy cabin
This is a great little cabin and was perfect for our two families - with two couples and three little kids there was plenty of room and we were all very comfortable. Owner was great, everything was clean, and when it snowed overnight someone was there to shovel the path and deck in the morning. FYI there's no tub in the house, which I hadn't realized, but our kids found it hilarious to take showers instead. We'll definitely be back!

Cute little, comfy cabin
We had a great, easy-going vacation in this little house. There are beds for all needs--one very soft one, one much firmer, 4 easy to get in and out of bunk beds, plus this cozy little medium bed in its own little closet-like space. It was comfortably warm everywhere in the house. The kitchen is very functional, with a 5 burner stove, very useful appliances, and an oval pan I'd love to have, as it was a good heat-conductor, big enough for a large hunk of meat, and was incredibly easy to clean. The back yard is good-sized and we had so much fun building all kinds of traditional and non-traditional things in the snow. Somebody came everyday and scraped off the front walk and the porch, which was very helpful in the various weather we experienced. A good time was had by all.

Fun week in this Charming Tahoe Cabin
Very nice inside: old Tahoe Charm with updated kitchen, lighting, heating, spacious bathrooms and bedrooms, w/d, nice decor with kid and pet friendly furnishings. Can sleep 2 couples privately and a bunkbed room for kids! Great location for the out of doors, bike and hiking trails at the end of the street into forest service, 4 great beaches and many smaller lakes nearby for day hikes! This place is bigger than it looks. We look forward to staying here again. Owner is very nice and friendly and has friendly helpful caretakers in town! Mike and Jill and dog Berkeley

Pleasant week in South Lake Tahoe
Our stay at the Little House in The Big Woods was what we expected from the Internet advertisement. It easily accommodated us ( 2 couples and one small dog). Everything worked. The house was very clean, including the kitchen. It was also nice to have laundry facilities and plenty of hot water. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. It is easy access to all areas around South Lake Tahoe and Stateline. Our dog spent time at a nearby doggie daycare and she came home with her tail wagging. The owner was in contact with us prior to our visit and promptly answered any questions we had. We received our deposit back within 5 days after our stay ended. We would gladly stay here again.

Birthday getaway
My girlfriend and her friends loved this "super cute cabin" as they put it. It was perfect for relaxing, playing cards, BBQ, close to the bay and a quick drive to state line It's not one of those luxurious places with a hot tub or anything but the back yard is large and I bet you can have some fun in the snow during winter
