About this property

Comfortable house located 1 km from the village VANS, near all shops and close to the river Chassezac.

House on two levels:

Each floor has 2 or 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen open to the dining room and living room, and a terrace.
The pool is very nice and offers a nice view of the greenhouse Bar (mountain overlooking the village of Vans.

An internal staircase connects the two levels, which can be completely independent of one another by a lockable door.

If need sheets provided (10euros / pers).
End of stay cleaning fee 115 euros if not done by you.
Electricity billed according to your consumption.
Deposit 600 euros.

Maison spacieuse et agréable. Très satisfait !

La maison est très spacieuse: nombreuses chambres, deux cuisines etc, bien équipée : lave-linge, lave vaisselle, barbecue ... L'emplacement est calme (aucune circulation). Les commerces sont proches. Excelente experience !

Belle région mais maison décevante

Emplacement idéal dans une belle région. L'annonce est alléchante et les photos convaincantes.. Mais: - les photos ne sont pas d'actualité. Le palmier sur la terrasse n'existe plus ainsi que le gazon qui a disparu. Des barrières remplacent les pots de fleurs sur la terrasse piscine. - 5 chambres annoncées sur l'annonce. Attention! 1 chambre aveugle et 1 chambre dans le garage. 3 chambres OK. - climatisation: il fait chaud en Ardeche l'été. Attention: clim présente dans 1 seule chambre ( la chambre aveugle) et dans les espaces communs. Donc 4 chambres sans clim. Nous avons mal dormi. - équipements: 3 machines à café filtre dans la maison: 1 seule fonctionne! Reste de l'équipement OK mais une répartition de la vaisselle entre les 2 étages incompréhensible. - exterieurs: piscine petite ( ne pas se fier aux photos) pas d'espace utilisable en dehors de la terrasse piscine. Pas de terrain. Les photos sont très bien faites et trompeuses. - équipements extérieurs: pas de lumière sur la terrasse de la piscine pour le soir. 1 seul parasol qui ne suffit pas à protéger la grande table de l'extérieur en journée car plein soleil. Prévoyez de manger dedans. - piscine: beaucoup plus petite que les photos ne laissent penser. Quelle déception quand on est 13! Il faisait 40°C. Sur des commentaires précédents, Tom expliquait qu'il y avait 2 entretiens par semaine. Ce n'est pas le cas! La piscine commençant à se troubler et n'ayant aucun moyen de l'entretenir par nous même, nous avons demandé une intervention car le mercredi personne n'était passé. Le propriétaire nous a promis une intervention qui n'est arrivé que la veille de notre départ et a pris une partie de la matinée. Sans aucun doute, c'est le fonctionnement habituel. 1 intervention le vendredi pour que la piscine soit OK pour la nouvelle location du samedi puis plus rien. Même le niveau de l'eau n'était plus suffisant. - communication: pas très sympa ni chaleureux. Avant l'arrivée aucun email pour dire comment on rentre et ou sont les clés. Quand on appelle, Tom nous dit qu'il a 6 maisons au même endroit et qu'il voit pas qui on est. A chaque échange il redemande qui je suis. Pas de livret d'accueil. Menage facturé mais prévoyez du temps pour faire toute la cuisine (affiches placardées dans les cuisines très directives et pas très agréables) Bref, maison pas conviviale et grande déception pour nous tous..! Location saisonnière intensive sans âme!

Na reservatie een erg goed gevoel bij de eigenaar(s) door de correcte, efficiënte en snelle communicatie bij vragen over de vakantiewoning. Bij aankomst echter een dubbel gevoel. De eerste indruk van de woning was niet zoals op de foto's bleek. Het onkruid komt je tegemoet, de ligstoelen rondom het zwembad laten de wensen te over evenals de netheid van de BBQ. Ondanks geweten dat het een contactloos inchecken was, voelden we ons wat aan ons lot overgelaten. Het was zoeken naar alles en nog wat, wat heel wat tijd kostte. Zo was, en is het nog steeds, niet duidelijk welk sorteerbeleid er gehanteerd moet worden. Bovendien moet je onmiddellijk naar de plaatselijke supermarkt rennen aangezien er niet één vuilniszak voor handen is. Dit is erg jammer. Na verder op ontdekking te gaan, kwamen we ook al gauw tot de vaststelling dat de oorspronkelijke nette indruk slechts schijn was : nachtkastjes, de kachel, ... lagen nog onder het stof. Door het ontbreken van plinten aan de keuken en speelgoed dat eronder rolde (peuter, hond, ...) bleek ook dit allesbehalve net. Naarmate ons verblijf vorderde kwamen steeds meer gebreken aan het licht ; op de bovenverdieping : de aparte wc spoelt erg slecht door, werkt de mixer evenals de stofzuiger niet, zijn er ontblote kabels aan het nachtlampje dat in het stopcontact zit (gevaarlijk!), zijn er 2 airco's waarvan maar 1 werkt, ... De benedenverdieping leek beter in orde. Buiten echter is het schaduwzeil erg verweerd en is dit bovendien bevestigt met een snelbinder. Dit is, rekening houdend met weer en wind, levensgevaarlijk. Tot slot was ook het oorspronkelijke, elektronisch, contact met de huiseigenaar niet te vergelijken met het persoonlijke contact. Na een eerste, hartelijke kennismaking, op woensdag werd deze al gauw te niet gedaan door een tweede op vrijdag. Bij de tweede ontmoeting werd niet de moeite genomen in gesprek te gaan met volwassenen (aanwezig in de benedenkeuken ipv op het terras omwille van de regen) en kregen de kinderen de bemerkingen naar het hoofd geslingerd en wij, nadien, via een bericht. Dit had, met een simpel aankloppen, voorkomen kunnen worden. Jammer dat de hartelijkheid niet door beide eigenaren gedragen wordt.

Parfait

07 motards, partis une semaine en Ardeche. L'endroi idéal pour faire differents circuits et quel plaisir le soir de plonger une tete dans la piscine, de profiter de sa terrasse et de sa vue. La maison à 02 étages à tout pour plaire (chambres, 2 cuisines, 2 S.DB..). Placve suffisante pour motos, voiture et remorque. Rien à dire sur la Villa, Parfait. A noter la dicrétion de Tom fortement appréciable. Egalemnt trés réactif à répondre à nos questions.

Tres agréable

Période hiver il manque peut-être un chauffage ds les salles de bain pour sécher les serviettes. Des chaises pour manger hyper confortables, gîte très calme à refaire

excellent accommodation for a large family group

This was ideal accommodation, on two floors, for a family holiday. There is AirCon but not to the two top bedrooms - so you need to bring a fan(s)! Swimming pool was lovely and the views from the balcony were spectacular. Although the gite is very well equipped, there was nothing to start us off when we arrived (only a small part of a toilet roll for instance) and so we had to go out to the local supermarket for "essential" household goods immediately eg toilet rolls, washing up liquid, rubbish bin liners and so on. There is no file with relevant information. So, we had to find the local supermarket(s), find the dustbins and recycling facilities and a bottle bank. There are no instructions for the use of any of the electrical equipment - air con units, washing machine, oven, dishwashers etc.. This is VERY frustrating and took us a few days to work everything out. We intend to return but at least we know now how things work!! Contacting the owner was not easy as the phone number in HomeAway didn't work and so any contact had to be by e mail. The owner was quick to reply and always helpful; but -we had a power outage on our last day and overnight and if we could have spoken to the owner he could have directed us to the relevant switch. A label on the fuse box indicating this switch would have helped - instead we were without electricity for about 16 hours - not good when there were three small babies! All this sounds very negative but we had a wonderful holiday in this house and will definitely come again. Ideal location and perfect accommodation for our 4 family units.
