Perfect for our needs
Mike and Carlene were very welcoming and helpful. Mike gave us many good referrals and information for the area the first day we were there. Carlene gave us a jar of huckleberry jam and told us we could pick blueberries or help ourselves to eggs out of the chicken coop. The hot tub was used every day of our stay. It was welcomed relief after our hikes. The property is beautiful and relaxing. If we ever make it back to Montana we will definitely be booking this wonderful place again!

Loved our stay here!
My husband and I stayed here for a week and loved it! Great location, close to Whitefish and GNP. We loved the grounds - view of the meadow and mountains, mules, garden, cozy sitting area with waterfall and the hot tub was so relaxing after a day of site-seeing. We walked the grounds and had a wonderful stay. Carlene and Michael were helpful and responsive when needed, but gave us our privacy too. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, comfortable and clean!
This is a gem of a place to stay for a weekend in Whitefish. The studio is very nicely appointed, and very clean with a lovely meadow view. We will stay here again when we return to Whitefish.

The property was beautiful. We loved waking up to the sunrise on the farm and getting to play with the dogs when we were chilling on the back patio. The hosts were very welcoming and we are already planning our next trip back to whitefish

Owners were really kind and welcoming, property is beautiful! Our only small gripe, other than the address, there is no indication that the home has a VRBO. a small sign would have made us feel we were in the right spot!

Great Getaway
The house was a great location for our Glacier National Park visit. Beautiful property, close enough to town but far enough to feel like you're in the countryside, would definitely recommend. Carlene and Michael were very helpful and kind with their recommendations during our stay. Also a bonus with all the fly fishing decorations 🙂

Excellent VRBO just outside of Whitefish
My daughter and I had a great stay at Windmill Creek. The owners created a very welcoming space and ensured we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The location of the property was the perfect distance from town and provided lovely country views. It was a great, quiet place to come back to after a day in Whitefish. Will certainly stay again if we are ever in the area.

Wonderful stay
Peaceful place to stay, very clean, we enjoyed it very much. Hot tub out front was especially enjoyable in the evenings. Quiet setting and the deer and horses entertained us every morning.

Great Stay!!!
Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our Hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. If we needed anything, or had a question, we were greeted with smiles and answers. The location is a short drive to Whitefish, Glacier National Park, and shopping. The Patio was perfect for an afternoon glass of wine and view of the mountains. And after a days hiking, coming back and sitting in the hot tub was the best! We would love to stay there again.

Beautiful ranch with easy access and great location. The spa was a nice treat at the end of a day of exploring. The property had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive. We loved their dogs.

Great place and responsive hosts. Would come here again for sure. Before your trip, if you are going to use the pullout bed, be sure to let the host know ahead of time so they can make sure it is all ready to go. If you need bear spray, also check with the host ahead of time to see if other guests left some for others to use. Including the two we bought before arriving, there were 5 canisters there. Nice rural location between Whitefish and Glacier.

Mike and Carlene are wonderful hosts. They have a beautiful, well-stocked property perfect for a sightseeing base close to Whitefish but out of the hustle and bustle. Everything was as expected. Clean, secure area, nice bed ! But, the internet/Wi-Fi is terrible. I needed to do a little business, search for restaurants, and such but there is no signal from any carrier and Wi-Fi not good.

Amazing getaway!
An amazing property and property managers. The abode is very cute and comfortable. The property it rests on is amazing to look at. Mike and Carlene were absolutely wonderful in helping us and giving us guidance, and just being overall incredible people! This property is close to Glacier for hiking. The hot tub and fresh eggs were an added bonus! Would highly recommend as a place to stay!

Why they chose this property

Our house is located on 20 acres with mature landscaping, beautiful gardens, barn, windmill, ponds for waterfowl and beautiful pastoral views of mountains out our windows. We love having the best of both worlds with living in a country setting, yet minutes from downtown Whitefish, wonderful restaurants, theatre, Farmers Market and all the amenities we enjoy.
