Lovely and well equipped

Great place to stay, large living area and bedrooms, and very well equipped kitchen. Gabriella was amazing! A little quiet in stresa but that can’t be helped, it was winter. Nice relaxing stay to end our hectic holiday in Europe.

The best view in the world

A fantastic welcome from Gabriella to her gorgeous and well appointed villa. The view from the terrace over Lake Maggiore was stunning. It is well worth getting up to witness the sun rise over the mountains on the opposite side of the lake. The villa was super comfortable, clean, quiet and had everything we needed. Stresa is a 20 minute walk down a sometimes rough, unmade path. The walk back climbs 100m, perfect for walking off those pasta calories. Just be aware that the Vrbo map shows the villa much closer to town than it actually is. We loved stopping here and will definitely stay again if we return to Stresa.

Eine Terrasse vom Feinsten

Sehr gelungen. Obwohl der Anfahrtsweg zum Haus sehr schwierig war, haben wir uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt.Der einzige Wermutstropfen war, dass das Wetter nicht mitgespielt hat.

Traumhafter Blick über den See

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön. Drei Seiten haben eine Terrasse und man kann fast von überall auf den See schauen. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht - von der Spülmaschine bis zur Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern. Und die Gastgeberin ist sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit!

Wunderbare Aussicht, sehr freundliche Vermieterin, schöne Ferienwohnung mit großem zur Hälfte überdachtem Balkon, der Fußweg nach Stresa aber schwieriger als erhofft, Auto auf jeden Fall erforderlich

Perfect!

Perfect house. Comfortable and clean. The walk to town was beautiful and rustic. We were glad we brought a backpack carrier for our 4 year old though as it was quite a steep walk. The neighbors were lovely and the neighborhood was calm and quiet. The hosts were gracious and helpful. Overall a fantastic stay for our family of 4.

Spectacular View of Lago Maggiore

The view from this property is just spectacular. It has a comfortable and large balcony/deck. The bright living room is surrounded by windows which provides for breath taking views. The property itself is in a great neighbourhood, well placed for access to Stresa and surrounding area. There is a nice trail if you want to walk into town and it takes about 20 minutes.

Super Ferienwohnung mit toller Aussicht

Die Ferienwohnung liegt etwas oberhalb der Stadt Stresa und bietet eine hervorragende Aussicht über den gesamten Lago Maggiore. In ca. 5 Autominuten ist man im Zentrum von Stresa. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, die Wohnung sauber und super ausgestattet.

Tolle Herbstferien in Stresa

Außer, dass wir vom Wetter her etwas Pech hatten und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants bereits geschlossen hatten, waren es fantastische Herbstferien und eine wirklich tolle Ferienwohnung!! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Wonderful

This home was perfect for us. The pictures are accurate- the view is spectacular! The space was lovely and up to date, and the neighborhood is convenient and quiet. Gabriella was an attentive and responsive host, who went out of her way to help us with the local bureaucracy in the paperwork for our dog’s return to the US.

Perfect Stresa

Gabriella is a wonderful host. She greeted us with a smile and wine and has been totally responsive to all our needs. The booking is exactly as shown in the pictures, if not better. Always breathtaking. It’s a short hike to town, and a short ride to marvelous hiking and swimming opportunities. We are taking advantage of the music - the Stresa festival and other events around. We may never leave!

Back to Lago Maggiore

We returned to Gabriela's wonderful villa after five years. It was even better than we remembered. The villa layout is well designed, kitchen appliances and furniture is really good and the the view to Lago Maggiore is breath taking. Gabriella had done some renovation since our last visit and everything was done really nicely. During this trip, we visited also Lake Orta and and Orta San Giulia. It is a really nice medieval town and we can recommend a trip over there.

Tolle Lage!

Eine eine wirklich sehr schöne, exklusive Wohnung in traumhafter Lage über dem Lago Maggiore. Die Anreise mit dem Auto ist kurvenreich auf engen Straßen, dafür wird man dann mit einem fantastischen Panorama belohnt. Die Eigentümerin der Wohnung ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Verständigung auf Englisch klappt sehr gut. Die Wohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen und wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Es vhat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet, die Terrasse ist ein absoluter Traum. Der Weg nach Stress über den Kastanienweg ist wunderschön und schattig.

Wir können diese Wohnung gern weiterempfehlen. Die ruhige Lage, der Blick und die vollständige Ausstattung machen den Aufenthalt sehr erholsam.
