It does not get better than the sunshine, white sands, and the soothing sounds of the Gulf of Mexico after a convenient two minute walk to the beach, other than perhaps a cold drink to go with it! Perfect mid-Island location offers both relaxation and easy access to the pier, shops and restaurants. Located ideally near Beach Access 16, where Estero Boulevard meets Dakota Street, this airy beach cottage offers the perfect island get-away.

Originally built in 1954, this model beach cottage includes three bedrooms and two baths. Each room has its own TV and beach decor – the Sailing Room (Queen Size); the Sun Room (Queen Size Bed); and Surf Room (trundle bed). It comfortably sleeps 6 people, with a sofa sleeper that can sleep two additional persons (maximum capacity of 8). Cable TV and Wireless internet are included. There are decks both in the front and back of the house to sit back, relax and enjoy a refreshing sea breeze or gaze upon exotic Florida palm trees. There is plenty of room to BBQ or simply hang out.

You will not be disappointed with this vacation choice! Fort Myers Beach offers its visitors a little bit of everything, including beautiful beaches, boating (rentals available at the local marina), shops, restaurants, golf, miniature golf, kayaking and much, much more! For those who are a bit more daring, jet ski rentals and parasailing are available. Nearby Fort Myers is also the Spring Training Home of the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins.

Beach Family Vacation
This property is absolutely beautiful!! Stocked with towels and all linens. Owners were absolutely amazing and very prompt and helpful. Fireworks on the beach were stunning, this place is the perfect place for a family. It's about a 1-2 minute walk to the perfect spot on the beach ❤ we will ABSOLUTELY BOOK IF AVAILABLE ON OUR NEXT TRIP!!

Perfect for a Family
This home was a perfect set-up for our small family. First impression upon entering was that it was very clean , light, many areas to sit alone or with others. Three nice sized bedrooms and best of all two FULL bathrooms. We had 3 adults and a 2 yr old toddler on this visit and that second rest room with showers in both kept us on time and ready to go ! Nicely surprised that plenty of shampoo, bath tissue, basic kitchen essentials were provided. The balcony’s on the front and back were a fantastic place to enjoy my book and morning coffee before the heat of the day. AC in the unit worked fantastic and was essential after temps in the mid 90’s each day. We were able to enjoy the beach carts /toys each day and everything you need for a day on the beach is provided ( bring your own sunscreen) including an beach umbrella. The walk to the beach is literally 3 minutes,! The outside lower level was a perfect spot to play cards ,have cocktails in the evenings. Perfect location, quiet neighborhood for a low key vacation. Do not rent if you are looking for all night , loud parties. Would not be received well. This is mid-island neighborhood and far away from the pretty people that party until dawn !If you’re looking for that type of vacation you need to book down near the pier at the other end of the island. We used the trolley (1.50 per person) to get to dinner, bar, Publix. Everything is fairly close and we had zero issues getting what we needed. Owners were extremely quick to respond, check in was so easy. No issues. I can’t imagine ever using a hotel again , when traveling with a group. We will use this home again and will plan our next trip around its availability. Five stars!

Ok so two minutes away from the beach... yes. It was not far at all. The house was beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. 3 bdroom 2 bath. Extra storage. Grill. Stuff to take to the beach. Spare fridge. Front and back deck. We loved this place and when we return we will stay here.

5 sisters Celebrating oldest 75th Bday!, very active. Cottage very well occommaded
Wonderful location, overall comfortable accommodations! We cooked all of our meals and used the grill to have small gathering with other family! Sleeps 6 if you use the foldout sofa. Very good value over all! We will definitely consider another stay in the future! Thank you!

Fabulous beach home
We stayed here during our spring break. The house is darling; photos really do not do it justice. The location was great; off the busy street and only one block away from the beach with a very accessible crosswalk. A grocery store is just down the street and if you head the opposite direction of the town square, you miss all of the traffic and there are great restaurants, a movie theater, and ice cream within a 5 - 10 minute drive. The house has everything a family needs: the beach wagon, multiple boogie boards, beach toys and shelling nets, umbrellas, chairs, beach towels, cooler, beach bag, and grass mats. You could not ask for more. The house also was well stocked with laundry soap, TP, kitchen needs, etc. We were thrilled with our stay and our interaction with the owners and would certainly return again. Thank you for a great stay for our family of 5.

Great home away from home for vacation
Great location, bike rentals worked well for trips to Time Square. Just a block from the Gulf for beach walks, lawn chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and wagon available to transport everything. Tram stop one block away. Property management very friendly, responsive and efficient. Extra bedroom and pull out couch accommodate extra house guests easily.

We enjoyed a nice break.
The house was very clean and well-stocked, as advertised. We appreciated the hefty beach wagon and sand chairs daily. The short walk to the beach was an enjoyable routine. The caretaker's mobile contact might seem frequent by some people, attentive by others.

Great FMB location
This house was perfect! Clean, well furnished, and all the beach equipment anyone could possibly need. The washer and dryer was a great convenience. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to Publix and many restaurants. It’s only a short walk to beach access 16, which was so convenient.

We had a great time and enjoyed the house. Everything you would need for a vacation. I was a little thrown off when someone called me after our stay and asked how many people stayed at the house, said the cleaners believed there were more than our family, the reason I was thrown off is because we left the house in great condition, almost exactly how it was when we arrived so this was confusing. Other that that I have nothing but great compliments to the house and our stay there.

This was a great place to go for 5 day getaway. Amenities were plentiful - paper towels, clorox wipes, dishwashing detergent, etc. Plus a TV in each bedroom. Wish there were safety hand bars in tub & shower. Also the top step going up to the property was very steep so we had to go up & down very carefully. We had a great time and property managers were excellent in communicating.

January 2022 in the 80's.F...Had a great stay with all the conveniences of home. Great check-in via text with property managers. Was ready promptly, so we went straight from airport to car rental to property. Bought food and other needed items at a local grocery store, so we saved money. Cooked most snacks, lunches, breakfasts. It's a very nice area. You just walk across the street with the beach chairs and umbrella provided on the cart and soak up the sun, and swim. You can use the grill outside and it's got a full kitchen too. Fridge, freezer, oven, stove, toaster, keurig, coffee pot, silverware, plates, cups, kitchen tools. Bring your cooler, zip locks, and snacks. So, just go to the beach and LIVE THERE...be one with the beaxh. Go Fort Myers!! Loved it!!

Had a great week staying here. Everything was just as described and it is truly was only 2 blocks from the beach. Less than a 5 minute walk. We enjoyed the deck and spent much of our downtime out there. The chairs, wagon, cooler etc made out beach days even better! Highly recommend!

This place is lovely! Mid island, a block off the beach. Around the corner from a trolley stop. And a short walk to the grocery store. Check in was super easy. The key pad makes things so simple. I loved that we didn’t have to carry keys around with us! They are very responsive! We planned on using the grill one night but couldn’t keep it lit. The next day they came down and swapped out the propane tank and the igniter. There’s plenty of pots and pans and utensils to make whatever you might want. Be careful of the toaster though Lol! The left pair of slots only toast one side. I would definitely book this place again and again! Thanks for making our stay a memorable one.

Great location, close to the beach and dining. The house has everything you need to hang out at the beach. Close to the grocery store not walking distance though. Not recommended for anyone who cannot walk up steps. The toaster was kind of funky, toasted brown on 1 side but not the other. Could use some better frying pans for cooking breakfast for a family.

The property was clean and plenty of space for thr 4 of us (we had one whole bedroom we didn't even use). The location was perfect with an easy walk to the beach and a trolley stop near by. We did not rent a vehicle and were still able to explore via trolley and lyft very easily. Host was very responsive.
