With two parking spaces just in front of the town home (and extra free parking available in the guest lot), you enter on the first floor into a large and well-lit foyer with a large coat closet and wall mirror (for making sure you look your best before hitting the town). Walking toward the back of the home, you enter a bedroom suite with private bath that sleeps four comfortably. The private bath offers many upgrades, including a stall shower with integrated bench seat, porcelain floors, silestone vanity, undermount sink, and tall vanity cabinet. Just off the bedroom, open the sliding doors to access the back deck with porch swing and a shared backyard where the kids can play.
As you ascend the stairs from the first floor you enter the expansive, airy and completely open second floor living space. The living room features beautiful and exceptionally comfortable furniture in a palette of whites, light grays and beiges to evoke the natural colors and brightness of the beach. With seating for 9, the loveseat pulls out to double as a twin sleeper to sleep up to 9. The entertainment system leaves nothing to be desired, featuring a stunningly clear 55” LCD High Definition Samsung smart television equipped with expanded high-definition cable from Comcast and a soundbar for surround sound and bluetooth connectivity to your smartphone music. A Blu-Ray/DVD player and Netflix access round out this entertainment system so you can keep up on all the latest movies, TV shows and music. Just outside the living room is a fully screened porch with comfortable seating for 7+, complete with an outdoor ceiling fan to keep you comfortable even on the hottest days. On the cooler days or to set a romantic mood, enjoy the built-in gas fireplace.
Adjacent to the living area is the expansive gourmet kitchen and dining area. The beautiful eucalyptus wood table is set for four for smaller, more intimate meals but quickly expands to accommodate up to 10 with additional chairs and two seats at the bar. The kitchen, open to both the dining and living rooms, is a chef’s dream, featuring full height painted Decora cabinets, expansive silestone countertops, the latest stainless steel GE appliances, a deep, extra wide stainless steel kitchen sink, extra large French door refrigerator with in-door ice maker, and a sleek, easy-to-clean glass top stove. Small appliances include a 10-cup coffee maker, a Nespresso coffee maker, 4-slice toaster, blender, waffle maker, rice cooker, steamer and much more! All of the pots and pans, dishes, glassware and silverware you would need to entertain up to 12 people are included. A powder room is adjacent to the kitchen at the base of the stairs leading to the third floor.
The third floor features two beautifully appointed master suites, each with a king-size bed, beautiful coastal decor, ceiling fan, large closet and private bath--one with a walk-in shower with integrated bench seat and one with a shower/tub combo for a relaxing bubble bath at the end of a long day. Just off the rear master suite is a private deck with two lounge chairs where you can relax and soak in the sun.
You also have access to the full-size, stacked Maytag washer & dryer in the third floor hall closet, so no need to pack a lot--you can always do laundry or--better yet--go buy some new duds at the nearby outlets!
The home is serviced by Nest-controlled central air conditioning (and heat) as well as a large hot water heater – so the last person to shower will still have plenty of hot water! A gas fireplace helps take the chill off a cool beach evening and hypoallergenic bedding and our no smoking/no pets policy ensure that everyone will sleep soundly. Finally, wireless high-speed Internet is available throughout the home!
This pristine townhome is located in the popular Rehoboth Crossing community, which is a short bike ride to downtown Rehoboth Beach and the famous boardwalk. The location is extremely convenient to the outlets along Route 1as well as miniature golf, water parks, movie theaters, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The community features a large, in-ground swimming pool as well as a clubhouse with exercise equipment. The development also backs up to the Junction and Breakwater Trail – a wooded bike and walking trail connecting Rehoboth Beach to Lewes, DE. Getting to the beach is a quick bike ride, nice long walk, short drive or just hop on the shuttle and let someone else do the driving.
Weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday and include use of sheets & towels, a weekly parking permit for the beach, and a cleaning service once you have checked out. Check-in time is not before 3:00 pm, check-out time is by 10:00 am. Partial week rentals may be available, but would incur an extra cleaning fee. You must be at least 25 years old to rent this property (state photo id & security deposit required).
We accept credit card payments only. Contracts will be emailed. If the contract and deposit are not received within seven days, the week will be made available again. The first 50% of the rental fee is due within seven (7) days of making the reservation, and the balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. Additional information and information on picking up the keys will be forwarded upon receipt of the final payment.
