This 3 rooms, 70 m2 with mezzanine a real bathroom, a large beautiful designer kitchen, a nice desk and large sofa will make you feel in apartment comfortable and cozy.It is ideally located in the historic Marais district.Completely renovated in 2013, it boasts a stylish decor and all the modern conveniences, dishwasher, TV with international channels, and Internet connection. This apartment offers two beds of very good quality: On the mezzanine pretty thick mattresses and down two places, a large contemporary room, luxurious ,.This non-smoking apartment is on the 2nd floor of an old building typical of the Marais with a beautiful height under ceiling 3m60. Without vis-à-vis, it is adjacent to the famous department store Bazaar City Hall and you will find the place of the town hall downstairs. It offers a rare clarity, in central Paris. A few minutes walk, you can discover the place des Voges, the Notre Dame de Paris, the Louvre Museum, the Sainte-Chapelle, Ile Saint Louis, the Quays of the Seine and its booksellers. By metro, bus or RER, you can visit: the Musée d'Orsay, the Eiffel Tower, Versailles Castle in Disneyland (RER B).

Perfect City Flat
As someone who books multiple VRBO properties annually, Karl's place was actually nicer in-person than in photos. Located in the Hotel de Ville area with a Metro station within 10 meters of the building, logistics is a breeze. The quiet, clean, well-kept flat itself leaves you wanting for nothing - from the spacious bathroom to the fully-stocked kitchen (which I suspect very few will use to its fullest potential since eating out is one of the highlights of a Paris trip) to the 2 separate sleeping areas (a BR with a door and a loft space) - it feels complete and does not require a lot of stairs to reach. Do not hesitate to book this property.

Karl's apartment is in the perfect location for walking around and taking in all that Paris has to offer. It's beautiful and airy and clean. It can get loud outside due to the bars and bistros in the area but the windows keep it very quiet. We loved it!

Perfect
The location of the beautiful apartment is perfect with a metro stop, shopping, bakeries and restaurants only a few minutes away. Even a gluten free bakery is around the corner. You can walk to the Hotel de Ville, the Centre Pompidou and to Notre Dame and all the other sights you can easily reach with the metro. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book this apartment again!

Amazing property!
I can't think of a better location to stay to access all of the major and less well known sites in the center of Paris. There is a metro stop at the front door and another line 5 minutes away. The property is even nicer than the photographs describe. Definitely recommended.

Amazing first trip to Paris
We were a party of four and there was a perfect amount of space for us. The location of this apartment is great, surrounded by shops, cafes, restaurants, metro stops, and more. This apartment is decorated beautifully and the bathroom, kitchen, closets and living room were very comfortable (space wise) and accessible. Karl was an amazing host and was very easy to communicate with, very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying in this apartment. You will have a wonderful trip!

Christmas to New Years 2023!
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this amazing apartment overlooking the streets of Paris…within steps to the closest metro station…which as we know is a big deal. Karl’s apartment has a full kitchen which helped us take care of our yorkie and espresso machine. IT WAS PERFECT! So grateful that Karl’s apartment allows dogs…we didn’t want to leave your pup at home so it was great to come across his apartment! Hope to be back soon Karl…thank you so much…we loved it!

Excellent apartment in wonderful location
We felt right at home in this comfortable, well-appointed apartment in an elegant historic building. The high ceilings and tall windows made the space bright and airy. The loft bed worked well for our young adult son, who joined us for a few nights. Remarkably, there was practically no noise from the busy street below. Arriving in Paris in the early morning, we appreciated being able to drop off our bags and to check in a few hours later, earlier than scheduled. We felt very fortunate to have found the perfect accommodation for our stay in Le Marais and would highly recommend Karl's apartment for other travellers.

Perfect Paris stay
We had a wonderful week in Karl’s beautiful apartment. My husband and our 8 year old were incredibly comfortable and the location was absolutely perfect- in a lively area and walkable to everything we could have wanted. The apartment was impeccably clean, the check in process was easy and the host communicative. It really enhanced our trip and we miss it already.

Wonderful location
We really enjoyed our two week stay in this apartment. The location is to die for (on a pedestrian only portion of Rue du Temple, just a sort step from Rue Rivoli and a stones throw from Hotel de Ville.) There’s a nice Boulangerie half a block away and the shopping on Rue Rambeteau is a short walk. There’s always something happening on the street below but once the windows are closed, you can’t hear a thing. Karl, the owner, was very accommodating; check out his website, karldickenson.com to see his beautiful Photography. This is going to be our destination of choice when we return to Paris. Wonderful apartment in the center of Paris!
This flat is incredible! We loved the location and it had everything we needed and more. It was perfect for our family trip. Karl was a great host and gave us wonderful recommendations for our stay. Incredible and authentic!
This place had everything we needed and more. It was in a great location and very authentic. Truly beautiful inside and out. We were able to walk to Notre Dame, the Hotel de Ville, and many cute shopping boutiques. Communicating with Karl was so easy. He is friendly, helpful, and fast! Any time that we would come back to Paris I would love to stay here again.

Location, location, location, plus a great apartment
We loved the neighborhood, could walk to so many things- we only took the metro to get to the Eiffel Tower and then out to Versailles. Great little restaurants and cafes; lots of shops- plenty open even in August. The apartment is clean, today, and we’ll- decorated, provided plenty of space for 2 of us (mother and son), and we were able to keep it cool enough with fans.

Clean, modern and easy location, with a few challenges.
The space was very clean and well appointed in a nice building. The owner is very nice and easy to connect to and the location has very easy to access all the hits of Paris. That said, the location overlooks a very busy night life area and in the summer when you need to keep the windows open to stay cool, it’s very loud very late into the night with partying and was challenging for us to sleep through. We also brought our one year old son and planned for him in the listed second bedroom with our nanny. We had no idea the main bedroom and secondary bedroom are connected and essentially one big bedroom. The bathroom is also attached to the secondary bathroom, so there was no way to go to the bathroom or leave our bedroom without accessing the “second” bedroom. We really find this to be a one bedroom with an extra space that’s probably ok for an older child or a couple with a friend, etc. If you need/want a truly separate second bedroom, this might not work for you.

Wonderful place for a Paris visit
Property was spotless; had everything we needed for stay. Wonderful large bed with quality linens; also had a nice loft that slept two Large living space and kitchen was outfitted with anything one would need. Karl was an excellent host, explained everything and left all contact info if needed. The metro is right out the door, but produces zero noise. Apt on a newly refurbished pedestrian walkway with flowers, and newly planted trees. There are restaurants all around the area, a Boulangerie, Patisserie for morning croissants etc. Really good overall space. The only possible issue could be the handheld tub device. If inexperienced, could be a bit of water issue.

Absolutely fabulous place. Great location. Very accommodating host!
Would rent again. Our granddaughters loved the loft. It was great waking up and walking next door to get wonderful coffee and croissants! Great location, one block from the metro and Hotel de Ville, three blocks from Notre Dame It would be helpful to better understand the hall lighting and garbage. Overall a great experience!
