Very mixed feelings about this property

Owner was excellent with communication and our arrival arrangements, which were made tricky by Tour de France road closures and she allowed us to leave our car at the property early. Property is on road (which I was aware of) where most people drive way too fast, which is a shame, but did not impact us greatly. Amazing views from balcony. Property is VERY tired and in dire need of some love and attention, which is a shame as it could be so lovely. I understand that major refurbishment would be very expensive, but simple things could make a real difference, like mending broken keys in doors (two) and the knackered front door lock, fixing the plug sockets that are loose in the wall, the wall lamps that are wonky and loose. The decking is all wonky so a trip hazard, the gate doesn't lock without a fight, the loose bannister on the very steep spiral stairs, the broken glass in the bathroom skylight - not massive repairs but simple things that make the property seem uncared for. The garden could be made so much prettier with some flowerbeds, the knackered shed having a lick of paint etc. Everything just felt shabby and neglected which is sad as the property is lovely and we really liked it. There are ugly doilies hanging in all the windows that are all creased and one had a hole in it - not a deal breaker but either take them down or at least iron them!!!! Nice property which we really liked but could be so much nicer with some care and attention.

Tres bon sejour aux Gets!

Chalet pas tout nouveau mais tres authentique et chaleureux, et surtout tres bien agence pour des vacances au ski avec beaucoup d'enfants: nous avons surtout apprecie le grand garage, parfait pour le rangement d'affaires de ski, et le jardin pour batailles de boule de neige. Chalet autrement tres bien equipe et agreable a vivre. On recommande a fond! Seul petit bemol a savoir: les pistes de ski pour les cours ESF sont au village (TC Chavannes) et donc accessibles par le biais de la navette (pas toujours tres a l'heure - comptez une bonne demi-heure de route) ou en voiture (parking pas evident).

Chalet parfait pour des vacances à la montagne !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au chalet de Mme Thiollay ! Le jardin était très agréable et l'espace intérieur très adapté pour 7 personnes. La vue sur les montagnes est magnifique et le chalet est très bien situé pour profiter des activités aux environs. Merci encore et au plaisir de revenir !

Séjour très agréable!

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine en famille dans la station des Gets. Le chalet était très agréable, bien équipé et très bien situé. Beaucoup d'activités différentes sont proposées: randonnée, luge d'été, baignade, vélo.... ce qui a ravi les petits comme les grands!

Family Holiday

Had a super family holiday here. Chalet is a little dated in places but very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Superb views and although it is out of town and up a very steep hill, the free bus stop is very close and runs regularly until 7.30pm. Would definitely recommend it.

Génial !!

Une belle semaine de vacances en famille pour fêter Noël dans un magnifique chalet tout en bois, dépaysement total. Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire très disponible et très sympathique, un panier de douceurs nous attendait à notre arrivée. Le chalet est très bien situé avec une très belle vue sur Les Gets et à la nuit tombée toute la ville était inondée des lumières de Noël. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour et y reviendrons certainement.

Chalet chaleureux et très bien situe !

Nous etions 4 adultes et 2 chiens et nous avons passe un super sejour !! Le chalet est confortable avec une vue magnifique sur la montagne et le village . Le jardin cloture est un plus pour ceux qui souhaitent venir avec des animaux . Nous esperons revenir prochainement .

très bon séjour malgré une semaine pluvieuse....

Nous étions 8 adultes, le chalet est conviviale, très bien équipé, à 15 minutes du centre ville à pieds et un arrêt de bus juste à coté. Nous avons apprécié le calme, la terrasse, la vue sur le village. La cheminée est juste magnifique. Il manque juste un autre canapé ou gros fauteuil, car lorsqu'il pleut comme cela a été le cas cette semaine et que nous ne pouvions pas sortir, le canapé actuel est pour 3 personnes donc à 8 c'était un peu dommage de ne pas être tous ensemble devant la cheminé il y a la grande table mais c'est plus difficile pour "cocoonner" La prioritaire très agréable, et toujours disponible. NOus avons passé une excellente semaine , et je recommande ce chalet

Chalet très agréable, bien agencé et bien équipé

Le chalet est situé sur route calme pour aller en hauteur faire des ballades, à 15 minutes à pied des commerces. Il possède un jardin plat clot avec barbecues. L'intérieur est pratique, bien équipé. Nous avons passé un séjour agréable, la vue est très agréable sur le versant opposé.

Excellente location

Le chalet est parfait pour une grande famille où, comme c'était notre cas, plusieurs générations se côtoyaient. La météo peu favorable en début de séjour nous a permis de profiter de la cheminée (malgré la saison) et grace au temps ensoleillé en fin de séjour nous avons bien profité du jardin et du barbecue aussi. Le chalet est vraiment bien équipé et les propriétaires sont charmants et très accueillants. Je les remercie pour l'aide concernant le téléphone.

le chalet est très accueillant; les propriétaires aussi ; nous avons apprécié leur réactivité lors de la réparation de la porte de l'insert. Nous avons aussi apprécié leur disponibilité lors de nos heures d'arrivée et de départ.
