The house is located in a quiet traditional area with views of the mountains which houses the "Laurissilva" and the valley of São Vicente.

The house has Wi-Fi, towels and bed linen with duvet summer / winter and has all the comforts for a pleasant holiday.

Hiking Holiday Base

We stayed here for 6 nights, the 2nd half of our hiking holiday. The property was very clean, exactly as described and had everything needed as a base for us to return each evening. The host was both very friendly and helpful and very quick to reply to messages. The only real issue we had was negotiating our way around the island via buses. We are planning to return but will definitely hire a car as we massively underestimated Madeira 😃. Thanks Frédéric

The pictures of the house is wrong. A 3 storey building is blocking the sun, the house was cold and damp with two small heaters. No sunbeds, I wonder why ? I surely can't recommend the house, we left after 4 days, should have been there 3 weeks and of course we haven't had any refund. The owners English went bad 😞.

La casa è molto fredda, quindi adatta per l'estate ma non per altri periodi. E' posizionata in un punto tale dove non tocca il sole, i 2 piccoli caloriferi non erano sufficienti per riscaldarla. La casa ha il minimo indispensabile di ciò che può servire. le foto la fanno sembrare grande ma è veramente piccola e fredda.

Agréable petite maison pour les vacances

Agréable petite maison sur les hauteurs de Sao Vicente. Idéal pour visiter toute l'île. A 40 minutes de l'aéroport par la voie rapide (50 kms) Bonne literie. Propriétaire très agréable, parlant français (ce qui n'est pas négligeable quand on ne parle pas un mot de portugais...) et de bon conseil pour visiter l'île. Nombreux restaurants sur le front de mer ainsi qu'une supérette et une boulangerie. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour et avons été ravies de rencontrer Frédéric et sa famille.

Traditional house

Very kind and helpful owner. The house corresponds to the description. It's very quite. I would improve cleanliness, water pressure in the bathroom and heating. The kitchen could be equipped better. Apart from that, everything was great. Greetings for the older lady (neighbor). She tried to speak to us everyday but we don't speak portuguese unfortunately :) Obrigado.

Une maison pour un superbe séjour à Madère

La maison est située dans un quartier très tranquille, un peu à l'écart du centre de Sao Vicente, avec de belles vues sur la vallée et les montagnes. Sao Vicente, un des plus jolis villages, est une excellente base pour visiter une grande partie de l'île : l'ouest (Porto Moniz, Seichal …), toute la côte nord (Santana …), les pics du massif central, et même la côte sud. Au pire il y a une bonne heure de route. Mais surtout, vous êtes dans une région les plus préservées et authentiques de Madère, à l'écart des côtes bétonnées, des grandes infrastructures, et du tourisme de masse. Possibilités de s'approvisionner dans le village, tout simplement. Cette petite maison (tradition oblige), a un cachet certain. Bien aménagée, et parfaitement entretenue, il ne manque rien : wifi rapide, machine à laver le linge, une petite terrasse, une annexe bien pratique pour nettoyer le matériel après une randonnée … Frédéric, le propriétaire, est vraiment sympathique et rend volontiers service pour organiser votre séjour. Il parle parfaitement français. Au moindre souci, il est présent. Ses conseils sont judicieux. Cerise sur le gâteau, il peut vous en apprendre beaucoup sur la vie et les réalités de Madère, au-delà des clichés habituels pour touristes. Vraiment une rencontre intéressante ! Un grand merci à Frédéric pour son accueil et la manière dont il assume son rôle de propriétaire, manière à la fois très professionnelle, tout en étant plus que simplement "commerciale". description tout a fait conforme.Cette location se trouve dans un village authentique plein de charme. Maison très propre très bien entretenue et très bien équipée.Propriétaire très serviable, nous donnant grâce à sa parfaite connaissance de l'île de bons conseils.Des amis nous ayant conseillé cette location je ne manquerai pas de faire suivre.

Accueil chaleureux, maison décoré avec gout, très bien équipé, très propre, très calme. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette maison. Un grand merci à Frédéric pour son accueil et pour ses conseils de lieux de visite. Nous avons vraiment été séduit par cet endroit
