A special place for special moments!

The house is in a town called Formello which is lovely and close to Rome (more or less half an hour by car). We really enjoyed our stay in Pamela & Susanna's house, they were super helpful and responsive. The house and the surroundings are amazing, with a lovely view. We had our wedding celebration here, the house has everything needed for a party. We highly recommend!

superbe !

Un petit coin de paradis près de Rome ! La maison est très spacieuse et agréable à vivre. Sans climatisation, le rez de chaussée reste frais et les ventilateurs dans les chambres à l'étage permettent de ne pas trop souffrir de la chaleur. L'accueil de Pamela est formidable, 2 salades de pates, petits gateaux et fruits nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Nous avons utilisé les services d'Anna pour un soir, qui a fait les courses pour nous et préparé un bon repas Romain. Nous espérons revenir un jour !

Wounderful villa in a nice quiet location.

We were a party of fourteen, five children, not to mention one toddler and one newborn, who stayed 10 days at Pamelas villa in July 2018 and we had a thoroughly lovely time. Despite our large number the house was spacious enough that it never quite felt overcrowded. If one wished for a moment's solitude it was not difficult to find a quiet space to lounge. The garden and pool area, was beautiful and much to the liking of both children and adults while the interior of the house was brimming with personality. Paintings, books and decorations makes the house feel alive and provides for interesting conversations. (We did relocate some of the knickknacks to make more room, but overall their presence only added to our enjoyment) At our arrival it was a very pleasant surprise to find a long table decked with numerous snacks, drinks, fingerfoods and a large bowl of delicious pasta salad waiting. It was swiftly devoured. Thanks a lot Pamela and Susanna. It was also quite nice to find that each of us was provided with a personal towel and robe and that Roberto came to switch out bedding and towels after a week's time. If you, like us, are large family looking for a serene place to stay as you explore Rome and Lazio region I would very much recommend this villa.

We were 13 people renting this beautiful house for a week in June 2017. When we arrived, we were met with a welcome meal served outside by the pool, and a tour around the house. It is a big house with lots of rooms, but is was easy enough to find our way around. The center of Formello with shops and restaurants is within walking distance. Trips to Rome is easy enough from a nearby train station. So, thank you for a wonderful week in your beautiful house. We all enjoyed it a lot.

Fabuleuse maison

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de deux semaines, nous étions trois familles dont 5 enfants et il y avait de la place pour tout le monde. La maison est très grande, bien entretenue et confortable, les enfants ont beaucoup joué notamment dans le jardin sur plusieurs niveaux.Nous avons été accueillis avec une table remplie de mets italiens après une longue route ce fût fort appréciable. La vue est grandiose, la piscine assez grande et des transats pour tous. La maison se situe à 20 Minutes de Rome et à une heure des villas Hadriana et d'este. Cest très facile d y aller en fin d après midi, Rome est vide de ses romains à cette époque et de trouver de la place pour se garer. Une mention spéciale pour Constantino et sa femme qui ont été adorables : légumes du jardin, petits beignets et notre fille a eu une otite, ils nous ont aidé pour voir le médecin du village. Ils sont adorables, merci encore. Je ne peux que recommander cette villa nous gardons de beaux souvenirs. Tous petits bémols : pas de lave vaisselle ni de grille pain mais on s en débrouille! Merci encore. Les trois familles françaises.

Bellissima !!!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette propriété magnifique et très bien entretenue. Très spacieuse, on y trouve tout le nécessaire pour les petits comme pour les grands. Constantino nous a préparé à notre arrivée un succulent repas et était toujours pret à répondre à tous nos besoins avec gentillesse. Il a nettoyé la piscine tous les jours. Nos chiens se sont également bien amusés dans le jardin. Ils étaient en sécurité car la propriété est entièrement clôturée. La maison était idéalement située, avec une vue magnifique et nous avons pu visiter Rome et ses alentours facilement. Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux. Nous recommandons cette location.

old fashioned house nicely located with a swimming pool and nice views

The situation of the house is perfect to explore roma and its surroundings : Must visits are roma (40'), lago di bracciano (40') with clearwater beaches, nice villages and restaurants, Tivoli (1h). The city center of formello (5') is nice with all the things you need to get your supplies (supermarket, fruits and vegetables, groceries...) and you will find 2-3 nice restaurants with reviews on trip advisor. When the weather is fine, you will mainly enjoy the swimming pool area with a dining table located nearby which will be perfect to enjoy breakfast, lunches, dinner, snacks and more ! You could also use an old fashioned but working BBQ and a wood oven to make your own pizzas mamamia ! Drawbacks of this house could be its Indoor equipment: No dishwasher which is a shame, mostly when you are a group of 10+ people... The lay out of the house looks very old which is normal for a family house but could be surprising for our generations. Lastly, the babyfoot is close to being out of order and would need to be replaced by a more robust and an adult model. On the property live a house keeper with his family : They are very nice but could be invasive; they came each and every day of our stay and asked us to vacate the swimming pool 12h before our departure ! On the pro side, I would point out the fact that they prepared our meal when we arrived late from the airport and that they brought us fresh tomatoes from the garden. Summary: Old fashioned house nicely located in the roman region. Improvements should be made by owners for the next renting period and the most urgent one is the dishwasher !

un weekend con stile

splendida location nel verde con panorama mozzafiato. 14 posti letto spaziosi e accoglienti come del resto tutta la proprietà!! meravigliosamente di grande effetto, tanto che le foto non rendono giustizia all’ambientazione che ci ha accolto. l’attrezzatura e la logistica della casa sono di tutto punto: nulla manca di cui si ha bisogno. La grande disponibilità e accoglienza delle proprietarie, come di tutto il personale, ci ha permesso di vivere un week indimenticabile. torneremo anche in un periodo dove la piscina e il giardino sono più godibili di un, se pur caldo, novembre. GRAZIE di tutto

super villa avec un splendide jardin

La villa est conforme à la description. Sa situation géographique permet d'allier farniente autour de la piscine, détente sur la terrasse ombragée fort appréciable par tout temps, baignades à la mer ( environ 1h) et dans le lac de Bracciano ( environ 20minutes) et bien sûr, visites de Rome ( accessible en voiture 35 minutes pour arriver au Métro ). De plus, nous avons été très bien accueillis (repas préparé pour notre arrivée !) et Constantino, le gardien s'est montré à la fois serviable et discret. Nous ne pouvons que recommander de venir passer un agréable moment dans cette villa.

Semaine incroyable!

Semaine incroyable! Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances du 11 au 18 avril dans cette merveilleuse villa. Nous étions 3 couples et 4 enfants. La maison est décorée très bien, équipée de tous les conforts nécessaires, située dans une position parfaite et avec un panorama exceptionnel. Monsieur Costantino,gardien et jardinier de la villa, a été toujours à notre disposition; et les propriétaires n'ont pas fait exception, elles ont été très gentilles et disponibles. En outre, à peine arrivés ils nous ont offert un très riche déjeuner de bienvenue. Les photos publiées sur le site ne rendent pas la beauté de la maison , peut- être parce qu'elle est trop grande. Un lieu merveilleux que nous conseillons et où nous espérons de retourner très tôt.

Una piacevole accoglienza alle porte di Roma

Io, con mio marito, le mie figlie e una coppia di amici, siamo stati ospiti in questa splendida villa delle sorelle Schimperna per 10 giorni poco tempo fa. Qui abbiamo respirato un’atmosfera familiare, perfetta sotto ogni aspetto. L’accoglienza è stata una piacevole sorpresa, un pranzo con i fiocchi preparato dalla moglie di Costantino, il guardiano. La casa è attrezzatissima e molto confortevole; in ogni stanza si vive la storia della famiglia, giocattoli, foto, libri e oggetti personali che fanno immaginare il tempo che qui hanno trascorso. Ci sono una ricca biblioteca distribuita oltre che nel salotto ovunque, un pianoforte e piante, piante, piante, splendide dentro casa e soprattutto nel giardino regale che si apre vasto davanti alla villa, che ha una vista a perdita d’occhio. La posizione della casa ci ha permesso di scoprire anche luoghi bellissimi a pochi chilometri. Speriamo di poter tornare qualche giorno d’estate anche poter godere l’aria fresca, i bagni in piscina e gli splendidi tramonti.

Come a casa propria!!!!

Come trovare ospitalità e gentilezza squisita a due passi da Roma, in tutta comodità. Eravamo un gruppo di 10 amici (due famiglie) e ci siamo trattenuti tutto il ponte dell'assunta. Caldamente consigliata!!!!

Nous sommes arrivés le samedi 02 Août . Nous avons été très bien reçu par Pamela et Susanna dans une villa plus belle que sur les photos, très bien entretenue , bref un super accueil. La villa est très grande et dispose de toute les commodités,nous avons été très bien renseigné par les propriétaires qui nous ont donnés de bon conseils pour se rendre à Rome . Après une journée au milieu de la foule dans Rome, la situation de la villa est idéale pour se reposer et se détendre. De plus le partenariat avec le restaurant dans Formello ou l'on a dégusté de très bon produits et grâce à leur partenariat , un très bon rapport qualité prix. Enfin on ne peux pas parler de la villa sans Constantino le gardien qui est aux petits soins de tous , qui nettoie la piscine tout les matins et est très disponible. Pour résumé, très belle villa,gentils propriétaire et service parfait ! Nous reviendrons !

Excellente semaine

Tout d'abord la villa est vraiment conforme à la description. Nous avons été très agréablement reçu. Nous sommes arrivés à 9 le samedi vers midi, et, à notre grande surprise un repas gracieusement offert nous attendais sur la terrasse ombragée. L'équipent de la maison est plus que complet (linge de maison, peignoirs, serviette de, bain pour la piscine, et tout l'équipement ménager). Dans une maisonnette à une trentaine de mètres de la maison et de sa piscine, loge le gardien Constantino qui s'occupe de l'entretien extérieur de la villa. Il est très discret mais aussi et surtout très serviable prêt à vous renseigner et à vous aider, et dep plus les légumes de son jardin sont très appréciés; Nous avons alterné journées piscine et farniente et visites à Rome. Nous conseillons vivement de prendre le train à La Storta (10km), parking pour la voiture 1,50 € pour 8 heures et d'utiliser les transports en commun 3 € pour la journée comprenant train+métro+bus. Nous recommandons cette location.
