Beautiful house and excellent location

Our stay at this property was wonderful! The house was beautiful and beautifully decorated. Everything was clean and there was plenty of room for my family and I. The location was excellent. We were right by the beach and only a few blocks from all the restaurants and Wawa. Michele was a great host and was quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend staying at the property!

Even better than expected

My family and I (ages: 7 months to 89 years), recently had the great pleasure of vacationing at Stones Throw. I’ve stayed many places through VRBO in US and Europe and have to say this was the first time the actual property was even better than the photographs! Beautifully decorated, well appointed, comfortable, plenty of space, wonderful location, beach chairs, games and activities, clear tips and instructions plus a helpful kind host all made this a vacation to remember-and repeat! We are hoping to book again next year. Also worth noting is that there are actual beds and bedrooms to accommodate 12 people-no one had to sleep on a pull-out couch or anything of the like. Huge bonus…and the converted garage playroom!!! Fantastic! You can’t go wrong with Stones Throw. Amy H

A needed break!

We are a group of family and friends who are all working professionals with kids who just needed a simple break even if just for a short week. This house was terrific for so many reasons and owner Michelle was great to deal with. Location was amazing and the house is well stocked. I have been renting for over 7 years in the Stone Harbor area and this has been one of my best memorable vacations. Michelle provides detailed instructions on her property and is super responsive when you need her. Highly recommend for a getaway 😉

Perfect location

This property is old school, which was exactly what we needed in the middle of covid - simple, comfortable, clean and close to the beach. I appreciated all of the little notes to help us figure out what, goes where.. and how to navigate all of the little gadgets and kitchen items. It was a very hot stay (very hot july) and so this house was perfect for quick jaunts to the beach, or quick retreats off the beach to head into town, or get into the air conditioning, and enjoy hanging out in comfortable spaces. A random comment - the master is huge, which was great ! wonderful home.

Perfect for weddings

We just completed a long weekend for my son's wedding in the Reeds. First of all, the wedding venue(as well as all the town offers) is within walking distance. The home is perfect for weddings. There is plenty of room. The family room is eloquent with a large screen modern television. There are televisions in every room. The kitchen and adjoining sun room offers adequate space for partying without the fear of anything getting broke. (Whereas the family room isn'). Maybe the best feature is having two beds on top of the garage. If you have guests who may be entering late they will not interfere with any sleeping guest. ( a few groomsmen) My son who was getting married had his own room and his brother and family had their own. Finally my wife and I had the most modern of the bedrooms. It comfortably sleeps twelve. There was all types of sporting equipment. (bikes, games, boogie boards) And finally, all this luxury is one block from the beach

Wonderful home

We have been renting in Stone Harbor since 1969 and this is the finest home we've ever rented. This was our 2nd time for this home and it truly made our family vacation "special". The owners provide virtually everything one could want such as bicycles, boogie boards, all kinds of sporting equipment, fishing rods, etc. the home furnishings are 'top shelf' all the way - just a marvelous home located at the beach block.

Charming and perfect location

We stayed here for the first time this summer. The owners were amazing and very gracious... checked in our second day to make sure everything was ok. The location is perfect...just 1 block to the beach, 2 blocks to the heart of downtown Stone Harbor. It was perfect to be able to walk to Maryanne's bakery in the morning and Springer's at night. The house was very comfortable, clean, well maintained and decorated in light and bright beach themes. The kitchen is updated and felt like home with everything we needed. Bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas and other beach items were provided. We rode bikes everyday up and down 1st Avenue and into town. All of the televisions had cable, which made the kids happy! They also provided a great selection of movies to pop into the DVR. Loved the outdoor hot/cold shower. I really appreciated the use of the large capacity washer/dryer. Plenty of room for 5-10. Kids loved to hang out in the loft area over the garage. Some days were very hot and we truly appreciated the A/C. All in all this was the best vacation this family of 5 has had in quite a while. The house was very comfortable, clean and absolutely perfect:) Everyone was very sad to leave. We plan to stay again next year...this truly felt like home away from home...but at the beach!

We LOVE this house

We have rented this house for 3 years and are going again this summer. This is a great house, and you could not ask for a better location--you're a short walk to town and only a few houses to the beach! It is big enough to allow for extended family to visit or teenagers to bring friends--giving everyone their own space, but also large areas for everyone to be together, as well. It is neat and clean, and clearly well taken care of by owners who love it. There have been some upgrades made this year, and we can't wait to get there in July : ). Stone Harbor is the best!

Why they chose this property

Stone Harbor is a town where families visit and return to, and generations continue to go there as a tradition. The town is very safe and family-oriented. The house is centrally located and close to many amenities. During the summer, the rec center has sports that kids can join for the day or week. Cape May (historic Victorian town) is 15 minutes away, and Atlantic City is 35 minutes away. Wildwood (the next town over) has a water park, a five-mile boardwalk great for jogging or walking, rides (ferris wheels, bumper cars, boardwalk games), and more.

This location and rental is truly worry-free. Once you're at the house, you can park your car and walk everywhere you'd want to go during your visit! We provide bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach games (bocce, corn toss).
