Beautiful apartment on a perfect location

We (a family of four) enjoyed staying at this apartment. It was perfectly located on a quiet pedestrian street close to the cathedral and a short walk to Place Kleber. The apartment is sparsely furnished and not ideal for four adults as the pull out sofa isn't that comfortable, but we expected that to some degree. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook our own Christmas dinner using the stove and oven. The proximity to all of the Christmas markets and the cathedral made it a very worthwhile visit! Thank you!

Super séjour

Nous avons passés un super séjour. Nous sommes venu découvrir Strasbourg et ses marchés de Noël, l'appartement est idéalement situé dans une des plus jolie rue de la ville! Mme Koenig est très accueillante et sympathique et horaires d'arrivée et de départ flexible ce qui est top. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine!

Very convenient location

A good quiet apartment in the heart of Strasbourg, within walking distance to everything in a pedestrian-only area. Bakery, cheese shop, restaurants and other shops right there on the small street, steps from the cathedral, canals, etc.

Excellent location

My husband and I were scheduled to visit a few days after the terrorist attack on Strasbourg. The owner allowed us to reschedule to the following week. She welcomed us to the clean, comfortable, perfectly located apartment that is at the center of everything we wanted to see. Strasbourg is very pretty city and Christmas time is the perfect for a visit. However, as we walked, we agreed that we would enjoy seeing the city again in the summer. Don't limit yourself to a visit at Christmas. There's enough to do and see any time of the year.

Très belle expérience

Très contente de mon séjour. Madame Koening et son mari sont des gens charmants à l´image de leur adorable appartement. Idéalement situé dans une petite rue piétonne des plus mignonnes, cet appartement est très chaleureux. Je le recommande vivement et j’en profite une nouvelle fois pour remercier Madame Koening pour sa gentillesse.

gemütliches Zuhause mitten im Geschehen

Eine sehr saubere kleine Zufluchtsstätte mitten im Gewusel der Altstadtgassen. Trotzdem ruhig und gemütlich. Alles notwendige war vorhanden. Man kann nur nicht groß kochen, da die Küche klein ist und der Herd nur 2 Platten hat. Aber fürs Frühstück und kleines Abendessen völlig ausreichend. Wir haben 2 angenehme Tage in Straßburg verbracht und wenn wir wiederkommen sollten, dann sehr gerne in diese Wohnung.

Delightful little apartment

The apartment overlooks a pedestrian "ruelle" in the heart of Strasbourg's tourist Carre D'Or, so it can be a little noisy when the groups troop by, but otherwise is very well-located and quite fun to experience. Trams are nearby, as is a major Monoprix where you can buy anything from socks on up, including reasonably-priced quality food. There is also a street market once a week, nearby. Alix has a wonderful setup, very comfortable and mainly well=supplied with what one needs. Do remember to bring your own maps of Strasbourg, though.

Zentral gelegen, mitten in der Altstadt

Die Wohnung ist zu empfehlen! Es handelt sich um einen Altbau mit einem sehr großen Wohnzimmer mit kleiner Kochnische (alle wichtigen Utensilien sind vorhanden), ein Schlafzimmer, ein kleines innenliegendes Bad mit Badewanne und Waschtisch (das Bad ist sehr klein, aber ausreichend), ein gesondertes WC und ein Flur. Die Wohnung ist im 1. OG, das Wohnzimmer hat zwei Fenster nach vorne (zur kleinen Fußgängergasse hin mit Blick auf die Fassade des gegenüberliegenden Fachwerkhauses), das Schlafzimmer und auch die Küche haben Fenster nach hinten (in den Innenhof). Direkt unter der Wohnung befindet sich ein Bäcker, und man riecht im Treppenhaus immer das frisch gebackene Brot. Das eigentliche Highlight ist die zentrale Lage direkt zwischen Kathedrale und Place Kleber. Diese Innenstadtlage hat natürlich den Nachteil der fehlenden Parkmöglichkeiten. Die sehr nette Vermieterin machte uns jedoch gleich bei der Ankunft auf ein günstiges Parkhaus etwas außerhalb aufmerksam (60 Euro/Woche). Wir haben dieses Parkhaus jedoch nicht genutzt und unser Auto völlig kostenlos in einer Villengegend etwas außerhalb geparkt, 20 Minuten Fußweg zur Wohnung (rue Erwin) und haben es die gesamte Woche dort stehen gelassen, denn wenn man sich innerhalb der Stadt bewegen will, kann man von der Wohnung aus alles bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Parfait !

Un séjour parfait ! Que ce soit pour un week-end touristique ou pour une semaine de séminaire, je conseille cette location située dans la plus belle rue de Strasbourg. La chambre côté cour et la rue piétonne permettent d'être au calme même en plein cœur de la ville. Je recommande cette location à mes amis, ma famille, mes collègues...

Location très agréable et très bien située. Le meilleur charcutier et le meilleur boulanger de la ville en bas de l'immeuble. Et la magnifique cathédrale au bout de la rue.

Excelente propiedad. Propietarios no confiables

La propiedad se encuentra en una calle muy céntrica y agradable. Los espacios amplios. No fue entregada por los propietarios ni alguien que los representara al llegar. Dejaron la llave en un club cercano. Tuvimos dificultades para saber cómo cerrar y abrir el lugar. Fueron amables al dejar una botella de vino en la refrigeradora como regalo. Aunque se describe que hay agua caliente, al hospedarse 4 personas (familia de 4 adultos), difícilmente alcanza para bañarse todos los días y el uso en la cocina. El primer día que nos duchamos, la tercera persona que se bañaba se quedó sin agua caliente. Pagamos extra por toallas y sábanas. Las toallas muy viejas y gastadas, sólo una toalla de manos para la estancia de 4 personas durante 5 días. Sólo hay un pequeño depósito de basura en la cocina para todo el apartamento (no hay en el baño). Pagamos extra por la limpieza final y los dueños calificaron como negativa su experiencia porque dejamos sucio el apartamento (!!) Afirman que hubo daño al piso y vasos quebrados, lo cual no es cierto.... No entiendo cómo podríamos dañar un piso? Cobraron 16 euros adicionales en cash de impuesto que al leer el pago en homeaway, ya estaban incluidos en el pago inicial. Nadie llegó a revisar el apartamento al salir. Por supuesto que no devolvieron los 350 euros que describen como "refundable" . Solo la grata experiencia de haber disfrutado de una ciudad tan espectacular como Estrasburgo durante la época de Navidad, compensa el desagradable mensaje recibido por los propietarios al leer sus comentarios finales.

Très bon séjour

L'appartement est vraiment très bien, conforme au descriptif et aux photos. Malgré le grand froid extérieur, la température intérieure était très douce. Il est très bien situé, toute la visite de Strasbourg peut se faire à pied. Mme Koening nous a très bien accueillis, se montrant arrangeante pour nos heures d'arrivée et de départ. Pour un retour éventuel à Strasbourg, nous essayerions de pouvoir profiter de ce logement.

Une situation exceptionnelle

La location correspond absolument à la description qui en est faite. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Strasbourg dans cet appartement dont la localisation est parfaite pour visiter la ville : à proximité immédiate de la Cathédrale, dans le quartier historique ! Dans le quartier piéton avec ses avantages et sans les inconvénients puisqu'à 2 pas de parkings ! Appartement agréable, avec du charme. Calme, propre et avec tout le nécessaire pour y séjourner. Nous le recommandons sans nuances.

Idéalement placé au coeur de Strasbourg

Appartement idéalement placé dans l'une des plus belles rues de Strasbourg à deux pas de la cathédrale et des rues commerçantes. Aménagement correct, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Petit bémol en été et avec les fenêtres ouvertes à cause de la chaleur, le bruit des passants dans la rue à toute heure de la nuit et surtout au moment de l'Euro 2016.
