Amazing Views of Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi - Extremely silent - Modern - WiFi
Location. The apartment is 60 meters from the Ponte Vecchio or Old Bridge, one of the most famous Florentine landmarks, and looks directly onto the river Arno. On the opposite bank of the river is the Uffizi museum complex and the famous Vasari Corridor, which connects the Palazzo Vecchio to the Uffizi and across the Ponte Vecchio to the Pitti Palace. Across the road is a perfectly furnished small supermarket and all around there are excellent restaurants, cafés, wine bars, fashion shops and artisans’ workshops. With just a few minutes’ walk, you can reach all the principal monuments and museums, including the Uffizi museum; the Palazzo Pitti museums and the Boboli gardens; the Piazza della Signoria with the magnificent Palazzo Vecchio as well as the Duomo or Cathedral. You can also stroll along the riverbanks admiring the city and the surrounding hills.
About the apartment. The 'Ponte Vecchio relax' apartment is on the 2nd floor of a recently fully refurbished building with all the windows overlooking the river Arno. It has two rooms plus a spacious bathroom for a total area of approximately 400 sq. ft. As all the windows look onto the river and none face the street, the apartment is extremely silent even when the windows are left open. It is served by a newly installed elevator and each room has central heating and air conditioning. Furthermore the floor is entirely in oak parquet except for the bathroom where the use of tiles has been preferred. When you enter the apartment there is a small hall and to the left you access the ample bedroom with a king size double bed. From the centre of the hall you enter the large bathroom equipped with a shower and where you will also find the washing machine. On the opposite side of the hall from the bedroom you find the living room with an equipped kitchen that can be closed out of sight when not used. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven; an under counter refrigerator; a dishwasher and a two fire induction hob. A toaster and coffee pot are also present. In the living room the comfortable sofa can be opened up to reveal a sofa double bed.

I can’t say enough about this wonderful place. And the host who helped us (owners mother in law) was just so kind and hospitable.
The place itself is in the perfect location- you cannot beat the views! Amazing ammenities, so clean and everything you could need.
I wish I lived here! Truly felt like living the Florentine dream. Thank you!!
Our plan was to secure a well located and comfortable flat
(apartment) in Florence and live there for three weeks. Unpack, settle in and come and go as we would if we lived there. This worked so well and we were delighted with our stay. In fact the flat was a highlight of the trip. So well located, stunning views of the Ponte Vecchio and the constant movement of happenings on the Arno River.
As a family closely associated with the sport of rowing we were delighted in seeing so much activity with the rowing club opposite.
The flat was perfectly arranged and all facilities were available . Comfortable, and tastefully furnished. The kitchenette was quite adequate and well provided with implements. The large double bed was superbly comfortable.
We were hosted graciously, welcomed, and made to feel that assistance was always available.
A lovely flat, superbly located with access to the old part of Florence. Restaurants close at hand as are the antiquities of the city.

Perfezione. Confortevole, ben arredato e una posizione imbattibile.
From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the best decision. Benedetta welcomed us warmly, the apartment is spacious and furnished with stylish restraint and the views from the bedroom, bathroom and living room are breathtaking.
We stayed here for 11 nights and even though Florence and the Tuscany region are filled with historical and natural treasures, it was a real pleasure coming ‘home’ to Via de Bardi every evening.
Whether you plan to stay in Florence for a short time or longer was we did, this apartment is unquestionably the best choice you could make.
Bellissimo. Un gioiello moderno nella corona di Firenze.

Wonderful location, very well equipped, helpful hosts
Benedetta was very welcoming, providing all necessary information and making sure I knew to contact her if any issues. The flat has everything you need, small functional kitchen, washing machine, hair dryer. Supermarket is across the road. Wonderful wine bar and restaurant next door. Live music most nights from the Ponte Vecchio, so even if you decided to stay home, you could feel part of the lfe of the city. Cannot recommend this property highly enough. I only hope I can get back here again in the near future
The flat allowed us to just walk downstairs and onto the streets of Florence. The location is super convenient to everything you need in Florence. There is a grocery store right across the street, and eateries and shopping, all steps away. You are within 20 minutes of The Duomo, the Summit at Michelangelo and the Boboli Gardens is also very close.
The best part of the experience was getting to meet our neighbors in the building. Michi and Magdalena made us feel like we were family. The experience could not have been better and we feel lucky to have been able to spend time with these two amazing ladies.
Beautiful apartment, plenty of space with a great location and wonderful view. Migi, the hostess who lives next door, is a lovely woman who invited us over for a glass of wine. Our visit with her was one of our favorite experiences. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Florence.
The apartment was very charming, comfortable, well-appointed, and in an absolutely fabulous location, but the highlight was the hostess herself. She was most gracious, exuding charm, elegance, and kindness. It was a joy to meet her!
We were so happy with our time in Florence in this apartment. Wonderful amenities and space. So close to the Ponte Vecchio bridge, bank and grocery store. Walking distance to most everything. Restaurants nearby. Delightful checkin and checkout process. Highliy recommend
We absolutely loved this space. Not only was the location ideal, with a view of the Ponte Vecchio, but the property itself was lovely. We had everything we needed and more. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had just enough for us to make a light breakfast before we headed out for the day. When we return to Florence in the future, we will absolutely seek out this property again!
Property was well located. Apartment was very clean and equipped with all the necessities. Property manager was so kind and oriented us to the area, sharing her love of Florence. Apartment was walking distance to all attractions and landmarks. A grocery store and gelato shop are directly across the street. Would highly recommend this to any couple
We could not have been happier with our stay here! The flat was immaculate, and with stunning views! We were greeted by our host who showed us around the apartment, and gave us recommendations in the area. Clearly, the host takes great pride in welcoming guests and making them feel at home. We had fresh flowers in the living room & bathroom, OJ, milk & water in the fridge! After a long day of traveling, it was so nice to "come home" to such a warm environment. The location couldn't have been better! We would highly recommend this rental to anyone staying in Florence, and we would absolutely stay with this host again.
I was here for 11 days. It’s a lovely location with beautiful views & easy to walk everywhere. The only thing I would caution anyone about is that there is music every night on the Ponte Vecchio bridge until around 10 or 10:30. The 1st night I had been traveling all day & went to bed around 9 which is early for me & then I was woken by the noise. It ended around 10 though & I went right back to sleep. Other than that, perfetto!
We were delighted with the apartment which was even better than the photographs. Everything in the apartment is of a high standard - beautiful floors, lovely kitchenette, tasteful furniture. The view of the Arno river and Ponte Vecchio is amazing. The host was very good at communication and very flexible when out travel was delayed. We will definitely book again when we are next in Firenze.
If you were looking for a place in Florence near everything you want and in an amazing location on the river, this is it. Great accommodations, great location, beautiful restaurants, and food wherever you need to go. I highly recommend this if you are looking into staying in Florence.
Our welcome host was amazing. 10 Out of 10 will stay again.
Located on the Arno near the Ponte Vecchio the flat is light, airy, modern and comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere. Our hosts were thoughtful and made our visit easy. They were responsible for the perfect visit to Florence.
We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed 9 days total and fell in love with the location. Check in was easy and seamless. Their sweet mother-in-law Migi was the kindest and helped us get a taxi twice and waited with us to make sure it showed up. She checked on us to make sure the washing machine was working and left us a departing gift. I would stay there again just to see Migi again.
Incredible apartment overlooking the Arno and Ponte Vechhio
Incredible views of the old bridge, river, and Uffizi. The place is in excellent condition, and the hostess was so kind and generous! We will definitely stay there next time in Florence.
…thanks to Migi, who lives next door (mother in law) of the owner. She is the “host” & greets you with genuine warmth. Migi is extremely helpful and kind. She is helpful and can point you in the direction of your preferred experience.
(I’ve never written a review before and am motivated by our experience of this lovely human.). The property itself was perfectly situated as indicated by the photos—nothing is misleading.
This home was truly amazing, a dream come true. It’s located in a beautiful building and in the perfect location. The kindest woman checked us in, she honestly made our experience so much better. She gave us recommendations and even had us over for wine and snacks. The views from the home are breathtaking, views from the bedroom, bathroom, and living room. It was so clean and decorated beautifully. It was very roomy and was equipped with everything you could imagine. The bed and couch were so comfortable, the kitchen was perfect, even got to wash a load of laundry. I could not have stayed in a better Florence home. It exceeded every expectation. We kept the windows open all day and were able to watch people float by in the water and listen to the live music from the bridge. I found a great coffee shop just around the corner from the home. Everything I needed was right there. Seriously was the best part of our Italian trip. I hope that in the future we can stay here again. It was magical.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely recommend for a couple or small family who want to be close to the action in Firenze. We were also so pleased with how quiet it could be when the windows were closed!
