Charming and Upgraded - Beach SO close you can see it from your patio!!!

This adorable beach cottage is a ground level three bedroom two bath single family cottage (a couple steps up to the front door). All furnishings throughout the home are beach themed and very tastefully done. Sleeps six people comfortably. Enjoy beautiful beach sunsets while barbecuing on your cottage patio!

We are True Property Management, a professional local property management company. We rent on a Friday to Friday schedule in the middle of summer and have a three night minimum in tJune and parts of August. When booking you are renting the front house. There is an ADU behind the home, above the garages, and it is not attached.

All linens are included and you have a one car parking spot in the garage. There is a laundry room and beach shower behind the house,

Rustic and quaint

Overall, the stay was great! Beautiful old-fashioned home just a stones throw from the sand. Some windows did not work and the stove And barbecue did not work very well. But Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great Location

This property is just steps from the beach! It’s also just a short leisurely walk to the pier, shops, and to the grocery store. Don’t expect anything fancy. It’s an older house, but we spent most our time on the beach so it didn’t matter to us. Be sure to bring your own dish soap, wash cloths, garbage bags, and toilet paper, as none is provided. There is a large spotlight on the house next door that shines right into 2 of the bedrooms and it would turn on consistently throughout the night. That was a little frustrating. But overall, the access to the beach, shops, and stores was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic Location!

We stayed here in April 2022 and I’ve just realized I forgot to leave a review. We loved our stay in this cottage! The location is so prime, we were able to park the car and enjoy the beach, coffee and ice cream shops, and restaurants and shopping all by walking. The garage space, while tight, was very appreciated. The cottage is very cozy. I can’t say much about the kitchen, we didn’t use it, but we were very comfortable with the living and bedrooms and would gladly stay here again.

Cute beach bungalow

The location is amazing! You are so close to the beach. The house has a cute rustic beach vibe. The garage is loaded with various beach items, we were especially thankful for the beach wagon, umbrellas , and chairs. The communication was timely and check in a breeze. We had a fantastic time and would definitely book again!

Great location plenty of room ...would stay here again ...I

Great location nice and roomy ..the owners could do a few upgrades quality sheets and blankets ..the pillows were horrible ...New towels along with wash clothes and had towels ...no access to Netflixs ect.. update ceiling fans in all the rooms. The potential is all there ...I would still book the house I would just bring my own blanket towels and pillows.

Clean, Cute, Quaint, Roomy, Getaway

Our stay here was wonderful! We had four adults stay in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage and it suited us perfectly for our Christmas holiday. It was bigger than expected. If needed, 2 adults could have shared the queen bed. The other bed was a double and fit one adult very well, and then there were a set of very comfortable bunk beds that perfectly accommodated 2 young adults. It was an adorable, bright, clean, updated, retro beach cottage with modern amenities. The updated 1930's gas kitchen stove was great and so authentic to the time period of the home! All you had to do was turn the knobs, and the burners would automatically light up. Also had a microwave. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, very well stocked cupboards with dishes and cookware. Televisions in every room/cable/internet connection worked great. Heaters in every room kept the house cozy and warm. There was also a working wood burning fireplace. We didn't use it on our trip, but it was a great feature. The close proximity to the beach was amazing! We were about 50 steps away from the beach and could see the ocean from the front door and porch. We also had our own private garage. It would easily fit a sedan sized car and possibly another smaller car or 2 smaller cars. Unfortunately, we had a large pick-up truck that wouldn't fit in the garage, but we were able to find free, close, street parking every day/night. We stayed here during December, and there seemed to be good availability for street parking, but that might be more challenging during peak summer season. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here! Very easy check-in and check-out process. We absolutely loved our stay!!

Great beach cottage

Super clean Beach cottage. It had all the fun beach toys! We loved how close it was to everything. We would totally stay here again! Only complaint was that the garage was pretty tight. only a compact car could fit there but luckily we rented a compact car and we were glad to have a parking spot.

Steps away from the beach

The beach cottage is quaint and super convenient. Steps away from the beach, close to the pier and restaurants. The grocery store is a mere 6 mins walk. The house has its old charms, spacious for the 5 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with housewares, but somehow I couldn’t get the oven work. The bathrooms were bright and sufficient, just wish there were shampoo and conditioner - I had to ran out in a hurry to purchase some. There’s a shower behind the house, perfect for a quick rinse after the beach and before getting back into the house. The garage is perfect because the street parking is sparse. We found folding chairs and boogie boards in the garage, which is fantastic, kids loved it! Anyways, we had a very pleasant stay, and we would consider staying here again.

Perfect cottage by the beach

Comfortable Quiet Beachy Chic

This quaint beachy chic single dwelling house was the perfect choice for our family get together. It is literally steps from the beach, yet easily within walking distance of a grocery store and several restaurants. It is very comfortable space-wise, well appointed in the kitchen and has sand toys, beach chairs and umbrellas located in the garage area.. Balboa Property Management was a pleasure to work with and made check in/out extremely easy. All in all...we had a fantastic week and I would not hesitate at all to rent this again in our future!!

We would definitely stay here again!

Check in was easy and we were very thankful for the off street parking. Parking is a HOT commodity in this area. 1/2 blk from the beach and a few blocks down the boardwalk to bars and restaurants, yet far enough away from noise and chaos, exactly the type of locale we were looking for. We endearingly referred to this as our “beach shack”. People with surf boards walking past throughout the day. It has everything you need, no frills. Nothing was pristine but you don’t expect perfection in a beach shack. Nice little patio with furniture, tvs in every room. We commented several times in our short stay how much we liked this little place. We will definitely rent it again.

When we were there, it was cold out side, and cold inside, there were 3 small space heaters for the bed rooms, and one wall heater in living room, so it never got warm in the house. The walls are about 1" thick, no insulation. The tankless water heater keep needing to be reset when we took a shower. The kitchen items were not very nice, but worked for us. The coffee pot was broken, and they replaced that as soon as we reported it. The location is good, close to a grocery store, and the ocean.
