We had a great quick stay. It was a great place to stay and use for a base for our adventures and recover afterwards. We made meals there and brought in take out. There is a great market nearby. Garrett was very accommodating.

Lovely Vintage Home
I had a lovely visit to New Haven in this home! The house is beautiful and the neighborhood was easy to access from the center of New Haven. The new house manager was terrific and both she and Garrett were extremely responsive. This would be a great place for a family to stay!

Beautifully remodeled home with river views
Recently stayed for a friend's wedding on the beach with friends I've known almost my whole life.
The house itself is lovely and wonderfully remodeled. The upper two floors (2nd and 3rd) are yours during your stay. The house is spacious and quiet.
The area you drive through to park your car feels very sketchy, even compared with the rest of New Haven. Everyone in my group felt the same way. That being said, we had no issues.
Lack of central air conditioning makes hot summer days uncomfortable, but I don't think it's unique to this house.
The kitchen is adequately stocked, but missing some staples. Shopping is relatively close by.
Nice large dining room table with plenty of seating on the main level. The master bedroom is enormous. During the summer, the skylights let in a lot of light and heat.
Bathrooms upstairs are not really private, which could be an issue for some guests.
We had a dog, but dogs aren't allowed to pee in the yard.
This is the first rental I've ever encountered where the owner required submission of IDs for all guests, which I thought to be strange.

Great Home for Families
We stayed in New Haven as an extension to a trip to NYC. This historic home was perfect for a family of five (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and a toddler). It's location offers a beautiful view of the river where we enjoyed watching the sunset each evening. The house is very clean and well stocked with essentials such as towels, toiletries, paper goods, etc. Garrett and his family did an amazing job of providing modern accommodations while preserving the historic significance of this beautiful home. I greatly appreciate the eye for detail on making us feel welcome and comfortable. It's great knowing that the house manager is located on the property if needed. Thank you, Garrett and your family, for sharing this beautiful home.

Perfect Home Away from Home
I stayed here w some coworkers, touring through New Haven with a Broadway tour. Garrett and his family could not have been more accommodating, and welcoming. The house is beautiful and the view is gorgeous. Located a quick 10 mins from downtown New Haven, the location is super convenient. The steam room, hot tub and grill in the nicely sized backyard are all amazing bonuses. The neighbor even called and was incredibly warm and welcoming as well. I recommend this house for anyone looking for a quiet getaway or coming to town for work. Thank you Garrett!
