VILLA REFURBISHED IN 2021!
A charming villa with a private pool and well tended gardens: Villa delle Lune is a perfect retreat for those who are looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday close to the sandy beaches of Porto Palo di Menfi and at a short drive from many famous Sicilian wineries.

The villa boasts several lounges, both indoor and outdoor, including a covered terrace that remains cool and shaded throughout the day and a private pinewood.

Villa delle Lune is located on a strategic position just outside the village of Santa Margherita di Belice, a town with an intriguing history. From the villa you can easily reach gorgeous sandy beaches (the magnificent beach of Porto Palo di Menfi at 15 km, for instance), the cute old town Sambuca di Sicilia and archaeological sites of Selinunte, Segesta and Agrigento, and world famous wineries such as Planeta, Feudo Arancio and Donnafugata, where you can enjoy a Sicilian wine tasting.

There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and it is suitable for group of friends and families:

- The first and second bedrooms have both an en-suite bathroom. One of these bedrooms has also an extra entrance from outside.

- The third bedroom is a bright room with 2 single beds and a mezzanine with a forth bedroom, a bathroom and access to the enormous roof terrace.

- Two additional people can sleep in two single beds in the living room.

All bedrooms have air-conditioning.

The gorgeous private pool of Villa delle Lune (size 14x7 m., depth from 1.60- 2.20 m.) is covered from early November until early April, therefore it can also be used in winter.

Amazing large pool to hang out until late! Unfortunately there were less than proclaimed beds, which led to some headaches within the group. The villa was beautiful and spacious. Please be aware that the location is very quiet and secluded, make sure to have a car at hand. We would definitely visit again

This beautiful villa was perfect for three families of four. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful, large pool and gardens. The villa is located in the central south western part of Sicily a short drive away from sights and beaches. Highly recommended for anyone who’s looking for a peaceful place for friends to get together in the sun.

Det var ett fantastiskt boende som överträffade alla våra förväntningar. Allt funkade utmärkt redan från bokning med Guilia och sedan under vår vistelse med dom som skötte huset. Alla vara alltid behjälplig och svarade snabbt på frågor. Vart det något som saknades i huset så fick vi hjälp med att införskaffa det och var det något problem så var dom snabba på att lösa det. Vi upplevde huset mycket bättre än på bilderna och beskrivningen, det var ett drömboende. Vi var 9 vuxna och 2 barn, och det fanns gott om plats till alla. Vi lagade mycket mat i det stora rymliga köket och spenderade mycket tid i poolen. Utmärkt boende för stora sällskap. Det rekommenderas att ha en egen bil då det är ca 20 minuters promenad till Santa Margherita di Belice, och vill man utforska området så rekommenderas definitivt en bil. Vi gjorde flera utflykter till ställen som vi fått rekommenderat av våra husvärdar. Om vi ska anmärka på något så är det myggen. Vi kommer garanterat tillbaka till detta boende!

I letti erano dei singoli uniti, durante la notte scivolavano creando una voragine tra un letto e l'altro non ho potuto dormire abbracciata alla persona accanto perché era impossibile. la qualità dei materassi non una delle migliori, investirei nel comfort dei miei ospiti. del resto la casa è molto bella e spaziosa e stare lì ci ha dato molto riposo. grazie per tutta la gentilezza e la cortesia. a presto.

Beautiful swimming pool, lots of space for a large family. Check-in and check-out was super smooth and relaxed, and we loved the location on the countryside. Make sure to rent a car if you stay here as everything is far away, and don’t leave any food out if you want the ants to stay away. :-) Communication with Giulia was great and super fast!

A lovely house with a really big pool! We enjoyed our stay very much. I like the old school style of the house and the furniture. Giuseppe was a lovely host, so was the gardener Johnny who helped us out with everything immediately. We got fresh linens and towels every week – perfect service! The estate is that large you could go for a walk. Anytime again! :)

Our stay at this villa was great! of course it is intended for big companies - plenty of bedrooms and lots of spaces to have big dinners. But the three of us also felt great! Big comfortable pool. Away from everyone - just what we needed. The host was very welcoming - greeted us with some sheep cheese and wine, gave us plenty of recommendations! Magical place with beautiful old furniture and a soul. THe territory is also big. In the middle of July the moscitos were a bit of a problem. So keep that in mind)

Thank you for a wonderful holiday in fantastic surroundings. The house is a wonderful art deco house with a large and beautiful garden. The large pool is perfect for our big and small children. A car is indispensable but in return it is easy to visit the area's sights and beaches from here. The hosts and gardener are hospitable and helpful. We had the house for 14 days. It was not enough... We would gladly come back another time.

Lovely pool area . Gorgeous sense of space and antiques ,sense of history rustic charm..Great villa . Would have benefitted from information pack as it was a very rural location. Even knowing the history of the villa Gardener was very helpful in providing information . Family and friends really loved our time together

Belle et vaste maison ancienne au confort un peu spartiate

Très belle et grande demeure, immense piscine dans un jardin très bien entretenu. Giuseppe le propriétaire est très agréable et prévenant, il vous donnera de nombreux bons plans pour visiter la région, les bons restaurants et les plages cachées. Seul bémol notable cependant, la demeure est un peu dans son jus, les douches sont plutôt anciennes, les chambres ne disposent pas toute de volets et l'absence de lave vaisselle est regrettable. Le village de Santa Margherita est peu touristique mais très typique du centre de la Sicile, un peu isolé de la côte (compter 30 min) tout en étant bien placé pour qui veut rayonner sur Segeste, Castellare, Selinunte (45 min) ou Agrigente (1h).

The highlights are the pool and the amazing space. Not surrounded by other properties so children can make as much noise as they want to both inside and out. Plenty to do within reasonable driving distances. Very helpful suggestions supplied re beaches and places to eat. Privacy respected. A lovely, relaxing stay for two weeks. Thank you.

Large House and Beautiful Garden

The villa is very large with plenty of space to relax inside and outside. The pool is great and is set in an oversized garden where you can explore among the many paths. The garden is further surrounded by olive groves so you have a lot of privacy. Giuseppe, the owner, is very helpful and friendly and gave us lots of good advice. The pastry shop, Bar Antheus, a few minutes drive away from the house is world class. There is also a very good bakery a couple of doors down. Our favorite restaurant was "Il Giardino degli Ulivi" (Olive Garden!!!) where you can get a fantastic pizza for 7 euros. The house is set in the heart of Sicilian wine country, so there are plenty of vineyards to visit. The drive through all the vineyards (when taking the long route) to the nearby town of Sambuca, is just fantastic. It was a most enjoyable stay.

Fantastic Sicilian style villa with amazing pool

We had an amazing time at Giuseppe's villa. He has been the perfect host helping us in every way he could with tips regarding sightseeing, beaches, food, drinks etc. You simply can't ask for more :) The house itself is a wonderful place to relax, cook, drink and enjoy leisure hours around the pool. Everything is clean and in very acceptable shape. The spacious pool area alone makes it worth staying but also the inside is extremely nice. We were a group of 7 and had more then enough space for everything. The kitchen invites for big and long cooking sessions. We all can recommend the villa to everyone and are already looking forward to return there once.

Villa confortevole con giardino e piscina

Villa molto bella con un giardino incredibilmente ben tenuto e una piscina ben curata. La casa è enorme con camere spaziose e pulite ed è dotata di WiFi. Buona posizione per visitare siti turistici e storici nelle vicinanze e le spiagge dei dintorni (tutte buone per il nuoto e non affollate, per quanto non fosse alta stagione) compresa quella - da vedere - di Porto Palo. Santa Margherita, il paese vicino, è dotato di ristoranti e negozi che consentono di acquistare all'occorrenza tutto quello che può servire per una comoda permanenza. Quando siamo arrivati Giuseppe (il proprietario) è stato gentile e disponibile e ci ha dato molti suggerimenti interessanti su dove andare e cosa vedere. Nel complesso esperienza veramente da consigliare.
