This beautiful newly refurbished stone rustic house offers you a high level of comfort and facilities for group of upto 10.
Set in a tranquil setting with views of nadiza and surrounding mountains, being in the soca valley its famous for the great outdoors, sports and wildlife.
Accommodation comprises off :
Ground floor bedroom 1 with double bed
Spacious bathroom with enclosed shower.
Living room with seating, wood burner panoramic views with floor to ceiling glass access to lower garden via outside stairway.
Large spacious kitchen fully fitted with cooker, dishwasher and wood burning stove, seating for 10.
1st floor : Spacious enclosed balcony sitting area with panoramic views leading to bedrooms.

Perfect!

This sweet house was a perfect hub for exploring the Julian Alps. It is close to Kobarid, and an easy drive to Tolmin & Bovec. The house has a large friendly kitchen, spacious living room, three large bedrooms, a second floor loft with seating, two outdoor seating areas (one with covered table and grill area), a full bath downstairs (and half bath upstairs). We found everything we needed for a week's stay, and had more than enough room for two adults and three teens. The house could easily accommodate two families. We enjoyed exploring the area -- beautiful nature, and a rich history. Oh, and not to forget the impressive DVD and family games collection that comes with the house. Highly recommend!

Tolle Zeit

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche im Ferienhaus, welches sehr großzügig ist. Die Treppe im Haus innen ist etwas schmal, aber wir haben uns arrangiert. Die sehr geräumige Küche hat zum verweilen eingeladen und war super gut ausgestattet. 👍 Es hat nichts gefehlt. Die Straße haben wir gehört,aber es war nicht so viel Verkehr, sodass wir gut schlafen konnten. Einzig die Betten haben uns etwas irritiert, da nur ein Doppelbett 1,80 m breit war, das andere war 1,40 m und eines war nur ca. 1,20 m. Da muss man schon sehr kuscheln. Alles in allem hat es uns aber gut im Ferienhaus gefallen.

Eerste maal Slovenië

Wij kwamen met ons gezin van 2 volwassenen en 3 kinderen tussen 7 en 11 jaar voor het eerst naar Slovenië. Omwilke van Covid-19 moesten wij onze reis met een jaar uitstellen. Dit bleek geen probleem voor de eigenaar. Dit jaar lukte het wel. We hadden een hele leuke reis en bleven zelfs iets langer dan verwacht. De eigenaar kon ons heel wat leuke tips geven voor uitstappen met het gezin. Wij gingen op familyrafting, deden de historical tour in Kobarid, namen de autotrein naar Bohinjska Bistrica om dan verder te reizen naar Bled. Ook de Tolminkloof was zeker de moeite. En verder zwommen we in de Nadizariver. Op aanraden van de eigenaar verbleven we aansluitend op Camping Nadiza in Podbela.

très grande déception

Les mots nous manquent pour décrire notre déception quant à notre séjour dans la maison. le problème principal est qu'elle longe une route qui est empruntée par -en moyenne- une voiture toutes les deux minutes, à partir de 6.30 du matin. Les fenêtres de toutes les chambres donnent directement sur cette route et sont situées à son niveau, les voitures passent donc ... à côté de votre lit. Nous avions pourtant explicitement demandé à la propriétaire, lors de notre réservation, si la route ne causait pas trop de nuisances sonores et elle nous avait assuré que celle-ci était assez peu usitée. Lorsque, après une très mauvaise première nuit, nous avons expliqué à la propriétaire que ce qu'elle nous avait annoncé ne correspondait clairement pas à la réalité, elle nous a indiqué qu'elle s'en rendait bien compte, mais que selon elle il s'agissait d'une situation exceptionnelle... De nombreux autres désagréments se sont ajoutés, notamment la présence de dispositifs anti-insectes très odorants dans de nombreux endroits de la maison, les "jardins" qui sont en réalité des terrasses et dont l'une d'elles donne directement sur la route, .. Nous avons finalement écourté notre séjour, décision que nous prenons pour la première fois ! Les propriétaires ont refusé tout dédommagement, même symbolique. Inutile de dire que nous déconseillons vivement cette maison, en tout cas pour les familles et/ou pour des personnes qui chercheraient le calme et la tranquilité.

Sehr schönes Haus mit wundervollem Ausblick

Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt in Borjana - Das Haus hat einen phantastischen Ausblick auf das Nadiza-Tal und die Berge. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, vom Dosenöffner über Gesellschaftsspiele bis hin zur Kaffeemühle. Unsere Kinder haben es sehr genossen, in der nahen Natur herumzustromern, während wir lange Abende auf der Terrasse verbracht haben. Dazu kamen noch wertvolle Insider-Tipps vom Vermieter. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit, die wir in Ihrem Haus verbringen durften!

A great house in a small village

We had the very great pleasure of staying in this property for a week with our three adult children. The house is well-built with high quality furnishings and a lot of love and attention has gone into every detail. In terms of cleanliness, the house was spotless. The house is comfy, practical and charming with a well equipped kitchen in which we did our cooking, two large bedroom and one smaller bedroom, lots of storage space and an amazing view. There is a large private garden below the house and a covered patio by the entrance. The house is full of books, DVD's and games. There is only one shower, but two toilets. The owners supplied washing-powder, softener, detergent for the dish-washer etc. which was very convenient and thoughtful. A few houses away is a care-taker who will answer questions. It's a ten minute drive to Kobarid which is a local tourist-hub where you can sign up for hiking, rafting, paragliding etc. and also has shopping and restaurants. We all had a wonderful time in Borjana and warmly recommend this property.

My mother is from this village Borjana. I have been visiting here all my life. As we live in England. We are a family with four children 3 boys and 1 girl. We decided that we would like to live in Slovenia which we did for some years. In this time I started a Renovation company . To renovate properties to traditional standard using Slovenia tradesmen. We love the outdoor life and the beautiful nature of Slovenia.
