About this property

The perfect combination of living inside and outside. A beautiful decorated loft up to 3 guest. This place is welcoming you home with it's personal touches, beautiful outside lounge and dining area with barbecue. From this big rooftop terrace you have spectacular views into the valley of Sant Daniel and you can even see the Cathedral.

This loft is unique, romantic and relaxing. It is a 3rd floor walk up (with lovely views from the stairway) in a building of 3 loft apartments. The loft sleeps 3 people in its open space - there is a queen bed in the bedroom area and a single bed in the living room area (which doubles as a couch by day). It has a fully equipped kitchen with induction stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, double sink, refrigerator and freezer. There is a Brita water filter, coffeemakers, all pots, pans and skillets necessary for cooking and baking, and dishware and cutlery. The bathroom is wood paneled and tiled, the walk-in shower has a window overlooking the beautiful garden below. There are ample bath towels and a hairdryer. A private clothes washer and dryer as well as clothes drying rack are also available. Behind the large wood headboard is a walk-in closet with shelves, hangers, a laundry hamper and extra pillows and blankets.

There is a flat screen TV in the bedroom area with DVD player and a large selection of videos as well as a CD/radio which can also be used on the terrace. The loft is very well insulated and comfortable in any weather, with excellent air circulation and the ceiling light in the bedroom area also has a fan for both summer and winter use. A welcome handbook awaits you with useful phone numbers, restaurant tips, day trip suggestions, etc.

The views and privacy of this loft make it a very special living experience, it is the favorite of my pro-cyclist guests!

This building has been remodeled by the owner (and her Polish worker extraordinaire) with a sustainable, up-cycling philosophy, creatively re-using materials whenever possible. It has been a true labor of love (and patience) and these sentiments continue to permeate the walls and spaces within. The exceptionally positive response from LOFTS Sant Daniel guests over the past years has been rewarding and gratifying.

The Terrace:
The rooftop terrace is 100 square meters (1,076 square feet!) and features a stylish "chill out" area with outdoor couches and 2 large tables, plenty of chairs, lounge chairs for sunbathing, outdoor shower, a Weber BBQ, built in sink and most importantly, the most spectacular views of the Cathedral, the Sant Feliu church, nearby mountain ranges and on a clear day, the Pyrenees. The views are really wonderful. The perfect place to enjoy a glass of Spanish wine, manchego cheese and "embotits" before dinner. Or fire up the grill for dinner and enjoy all evening long. And then enjoy it again the next morning at breakfast!

The beauty of this loft and the extraordinary terrace and views make it a very special living experience, and the favorite of my pro-cyclist guests!

Excelente - muy recomendado

Muy limpia y muy bien ubicada. Tiene una vista super linda y queda muy cerca del centro historico, se puede ir caminando. La catedral esta al lado. El lugar esta super bien equipado con las cosas de cocina, del baño, de la cama... tambien dan recomendaciones para el viaje. Muy recomendado

Buena ubicación, mala accesibilidad

La ubicación es buena porque esta a un paso del centro historico de girona, pero el acceso es terrible. Empezando por la rampa de accceso a la misma calle y luego los 3 pisos estrechos que hay que subir. Deberian avisar que es un 3o sin ascensor. Abstenerse personas con mobilidad reducida y con niños.

Bon endroit pour séjourner à Gérone

Appartement fonctionnel, bien agencé et équipé, tout à fait adapté pour un couple, éventuellement avec un enfant (lit individuel disponible). Au calme dans la vallée boisée de Sant Daniel, bien situé à proximité du vieux Gérone. Sites remarquables et nombreux restaurants de la vieille ville accessibles à pied en 10/15 mn. Criques de la Costa Brava à 45 / 60 mn en voiture au mois d'août. Grande terrasse avec vue sur la vallée et la cathédrale, bien appréciable, notamment pour le petit déjeuner et le soir (bbq...). Bref ce logement était parfait pour notre semaine de vacances en Catalogne.

Enestående lille perle, tæt på alt det smukke i Girona

Vi fandt en perle lidt i udkanten af den gamle historiske del af Girona, i byen, på landet og på bjerget - alt inden for gå afstand. Vi havde den øverste lejlighed, der var perfekt for 2 personer, lejligheden var afslappet smagfuldt indrettet, med alt det der skal til, for at kunne nyde både at være hjemme, og som base for udflugter og oplevelser i lokalområdet. Smuk udsigt fra stor tagterrasse, med sol og skygge - helt perfekt. Shelly har selv stået for indretningen med smukke og velgennemførte detailjer. Vi kommer helt sikkert gerne igen.

Unique, and with beautiful views

We stayed in this loft for 5 nights, and loved it. The location is in a quiet neighborhood adjacent to to the old city. Having full use of the roof terrace was a lot of fun, and there are great views into town and the nearby valley. The apartment is very cleverly laid out so it never seemed small. It was perfect for a couple - we appreciated the chance to use the extra bed/sofa to spread out a little. The kitchen was well supplied and everything was in working order. We really enjoyed our time in Girona in the loft apartment.

It's a super nice apartment with everything you need at hand. We liked the terrace in particular!

Location is perfect, just adjacent to the old city center but with a view on the old churches and the ruins at the other side. The apartment is small but efficiently furnished and has everything you need. We spent most of our time rekaxing on the terrace, which is spacious and has nice couches and a roof to protect against the sun during the hottest moments of the day. The only downside for us was that it was quite hot, also in the night (there is a fan but no air conditioning). So we slept with windows open. And one of the two churches has church bells that ring every 15 minutes (besides the other church which rings every hour as well). For those who are light sleepers this might take some time to get used to.
