About this property

Welcome to the counts cabin! We finished it in 2009. This cabin is spacious and sleeps up to four people comfortably. The experience is pure montana in style. The location is right on emigrant creek. In fact, the creek is visible and can be heard from the cabin.
Two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and utility room with toilet, clothes washer, and dryer make the counts cabin a comfortable escape. One bedroom has a king sized bed and a queen sized bed is in the other bedroom.
Wood floors are throughout and the furnishings are very comfortable and unique. There is even a resident fish (sculpture)!

Great Cabin!

We love staying at the Counts Cabin. This was our second year staying here and we absolutely love it. It’s quiet and off the beaten path.

Private cabin on the creek

If you like the sounds of nature, privacy, and a place a little bit off the beaten path you’ll love this place. Enjoy the enclosed patio with your morning coffee or evening beverage with the sound of a rushing stream. We’re both avid cooks and really enjoyed the large kitchen area and open floor plan of this cabin. Thank you Bryan for sharing such an extraordinary place. Cabin by the creek

The property was nice. Wasn't ready for us when we arrived. Called Bryan and he had it taken care of right away. Would be nice to know you'll be driving on gravel roads for a few miles. Also the road to the cabin is full of ruts snd rocks. Be sure you have a high clearance vehicle!

Lovely, private cabin next to beautiful creek.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights. We loved the peacefulness and privacy. The cabin is very cozy and clean. We really enjoyed the screen porch and listening to the creek. We did several hikes in the area to beautiful waterfalls. Bryan was very helpful with information about the area and we enjoyed our conversations with him. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Met my wifes expectations!

I like outta the way places, unique, and a little soul. My wife is a near freak and this place did not disappoint. Slept great next to creek, star gazed, and Bryan leaves you alone, checkin was a cinch. We were there 4 nights, we’ll be back. Lotta history there if you ask

Quiet hideaway

Sweet cozy cabin tucked away in the mountains with amazing rushing stream. Had all we needed 😊could use a handrail, but found two poles that helped a lot! Really enjoyed the peaceful spot ❤️

most relaxing time

A great cabin setting right next to a gurgling stream, including a massive, colorful fish wall hanging. Clean and comfortable with good beds, responsive wi-fi and full size washer/dryer. Have rented several places over the years and this rates in our top five.

Perfect stay!

We so enjoyed our stay! It was exactly what we were looking for - a private cabin in the middle of the woods! And the river!….What a gem of a place to come back to and lay your head down for the night with the river flowing outside your window. Perfect Ending to Yellowstone Trip

The property is just as described and the directions were perfect but definitely need to make sure you have them written down or pictures as GPS was about to take us the wrong way. The place was immaculate when we arrived which I appreciated being a bit of a clean freak. It was definitely remote and exactly what my husband and boys, 14 and 16, asked for. The sound of the creek is incredible as it’s literally a few steps from the cabin.just being away from everyone in such beautiful surroundings was a nice change and a great way to end our Yellowstone vacation

Absolutely Breath taking!

The property is nestled in the foot of the mountains and has a beautiful little creek right by the cabin! Amazing to just sit there and listen to it run while sitting on the porch! Hikes around the cabin were fun and a bit of an uphill work out but definately with the walk! There was absolutely no connection to the WiFi but while staying there for the 6 nights, we only missed it in the morning for the news! Already pondering on when we are coming back!

Peace and Quiet on the Creek

We had a lovely stay at the Counts Cabin. Everything was great. Very close to Chico Hot Springs, which was lovely to visit during the day. It is important to note that the road to the cabin is a very bumpy dirt road. Make sure you follow the directions and screenshot them ahead of time as there is no cell service at the cabin. Also, the wi-fi was not working, but who really needs that when you’re in such a lovely setting.

relaxing stay

We had a wonderful and relaxing during our stay. During the day we would walk to the falls, explore the stream, or go horse back riding and in the evening we would sit on the enclosed porch playing cards with the sound of the running stream in the back round!! It was nice to be able to put the electronics down and enjoy time together.

Simple and quiet

We loved the Counts Cabin, this was just what we needed. Nothing extravagant but very clean and comfortable. You get so much more space than other cabins I checked out in the area. The best part was it was so private and quiet but not sacrificing the convenience. We found out wifi was down after struggling to connect, but cellular service worked fine, so it was not an issue.

Very nice

We had a great time. Place was clean and quite! Valley had flooding earlier so internet was out. This was the only issue we had due to remote work. Overall, fantastic place and truly a beautiful area!

Excellent Cabin

We had an exceptional stay at this fabulous cabin. The creek running behind the cabin is so soothing. The location was great -- easy access. The cabin had everything a person could ask for and was very clean. We had the pleasure of meeting owners, who were especially kind and helpful with things things to do while Yellowstone was closed. Definitely would rent this cabin again.

Country Hideaway

A great country hideaway with a babbling brook and plenty of space, indoors and out, to enjoy yourself. Just a mile from wonderful Chico Hot Springs, a great place for a soak, good meal, a drink, and dancing on the weekends. And it's less than an hour from Yellowstone's North Gate. The wi-fi needs some work, but other than that a prefect stay. Thanks!

Beautiful spot next to a creek

Love this cabin. You can hear the river at night and it’s so peaceful to sleep to. It’s quiet but still close by to fun places. Definitely recommend coming here :)

My name is Bryan and I have lived in Montana, in the Paradise Valley, for all of my adult life. When I am not exploring our property on Emigrant Creek with my faithful standard poodle and lovely wife, I am working in the Valley or Yellowstone National Park. I love this area and can give advice on where the best spots are.

Why they chose this property

My wife and I built this cabin and finished it in 2009 as a nod to her heritage. The Counts family arrived in this area and homesteaded on Emigrant Creek before moving to various places around Paradise Valley.
