About this property

Nestled neatly along the Wenatchee River, just about 3 1/2 miles east of Leavenworth. River Park Condo is a nice quiet one bedroom one bath, unit with a hideaway queen size bed in a couch so a small family or group of friends could enjoy being together. Amenities include a full kitchen, with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, ice machine, blender, dishwasher, dishes, pots & pans, some mixing bowls; everything you might need. There's a closet with an iron and ironing board. There's a washer and dryer just in case... The condo unit has a covered outdoor picnic area, a community fire pit, another more private covered area... all in a park like setting along the river... it's nice! The TV has a Roku player you can use to login to your favorite streaming or just watch what's available... but really, people don't come here to watch TV. There's great internet service and Wi-Fi,. There are even some books to read as well.

Peaceful, beautiful location on the Wenatchee River

It was easy to communicate with the owner, Fred, who responded instantly to our few questions. The apt is clean, the kitchen is full size so easy to cook for ourselves. The River was spectacular, bank high and fast flowing and fun to watch rafters zip by. Great quiet location for adults, but I would not recommend bringing young children IF they would wander close to the fast river without adult supervision. Nice covered picnic areas to enjoy along the river. Very comfortable bed and living room furniture. Perfect for a couple’s getaway!

Quiet and Relaxing

Direct and easy communication. Just off the high way and a 9 min drove from Leavenworth. Nothing to complain about. If the opportunity presents itself, I will be back!

Very clean and great location!

The property was larger than I anticipated and it was clean and well equipped with the basics such as eating and cleaning supplies, bedding, etc. The river was right outside the door, and it was easy access to Leavenworth, which was only about a 5-10 minute easy drive away. Highly recommend, and I would definitely stay again!

Fabulous place to stay

Easy access to condo. Covered parking was great since it had snowed a lot that weekend. Condo is very nice, clean, warm, cute, and well stocked. The view of the river was so pretty with all the snow coming down. Great communication from the host and a binder in the kitchen answers a lot of any questions you may have.

Family wedding

I brought my girls for the weekend to attend a family wedding. This place was exactly what the description said. The girls really enjoyed the river right outside the door. We loved visiting Leavenworth. Fred made sure the air conditioner was running (which was super nice!), it was clean, quiet and comfortable. Thank you so much!

A perfect Leavenworth getaway!!

This property is ideal for a quiet stay close to Leavenworth but away from the hustle and bustle of the actual village area. It’s just a few miles outside of town, right on the river and perfect for a couple. We made this home base as we hiked, biked, and ate all over the area. The host was extremely responsive and provided more than we could ever imagined. The property was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We will absolutely stay here again on next trip to the area!!

The Perfect Getaway

We stayed for a week following an Alaskan Cruise. The location was great, right next to the river. We played golf, hiked, visited Leavenworth twice, and took a boat trip up Lake Chelan to Stehekin. The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It was a fantastic week.

The owner was communicative, the place was clean and comfortable, and it wasn't very far from Leavenworth. We were happy with our stay and would consider staying here again if we come back to the Leavenworth area.

Check-in was easy. The property is nothing fancy, but nice and well maintained. Located close to the main road for easy access to Leavenworth, but didn’t notice much noise at night.

Great condo just outside of town!

My husband and I stayed at Fred's place for a weekend getaway. Property was easy to find and just a short distance into town. Parking was a breeze and the condo exceeded our expectations. It was clean and comfortable and well stocked. I appreciated that there were plenty enough dishes to last several days without having to run the dishwasher every day. Same with linens! There is a nice grassy area right outside the door as well as next to the river for pets. Overall, this was a great place to stay at an affordable price. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again!

We are a local farming family who also enjoy the great fun and beauty of our region. We grow pears nearby, our kids are involved in the community, schools and family business.

Why they chose this property

River Park Place is a well-equipped one-bedroom condo that can accommodate you and your family. This place is located close enough to enjoy Leavenworth and it's festivals, yet not be confined to the traffic and masses, but far enough out to get away from all the people. There is so much more to our location than Leavenworth with all the outdoor activities, the local wineries, and other. The river is such a peaceful thing to watch and fun to enter in during the summer.

What makes this property unique

Wow, there are so many things to do from here... visit local wineries and other agri-tourism; multiple river guides; ski areas- Leavenworth; Mission Ridge; or Steven's Pass; Outdoors activities abound with the trails and mountain lakes, Alpine Wilderness access, Icicle, Tumwater, Rock climbing at the Peshastin Pinacles, as well as the proximity to the Wenatchee, the Columbia River, Rocky Reach Dam, as well as Lake Wenatchee, Fish Lake and Plain.
