The property was very comfortable and clean and was well appointed with anything I might need. It was nice having a washer and dryer as well. The view was lovely and it was just so pleasant to wake up and watch the sun rise. Such a great place!
Thank you very much for your hospitality!
Been staying at this cottage for over 20 years now! My wife and I fell in love with it after our first visit! We plan on being back! Thank you! Tommy & Marisol
Quiet! Nature! Safe, comfortable and convenient. It was perfect for us. Everything we needed. We loved being on the water at Round Pond. Communication with Tyler was prompt and courteous. Television is limited but we used our computer. Very pleased!
What can we say? We've been lucky enough to stay here for over 20 years now! It is the ultimate "stress relief" setting, with gorgeous views of the water that just can't be beat! Tons of options nearby for dining, as well as other outdoor activities
We love this place and intend to be back!
The cottage was more roomy than we thought it would be. It was nice being able to walk to King Ro's for a breakfast sandwich, pizza or newspaper. Fairly private location and you still get to see all the action in a picturesque working Maine harbor.
This Round Pond house was the perfect quiet retreat that I so desired! The cottage is perfectly decorated and has everything you need. I sat on the deck or in the living room area inside and watched the lobster boats come and go. Close to Damariscotta, another quaint Maine village with shops and restaurants . This property is a very peaceful place overlooking a quintessential Maine cove. I loved every minute! I will definitely return.
This lovely property had great economy of space for maximum effect (clever design for a good footprint and a lot of privacy for those staying there) and, quite importantly, was situated in a gorgeous (closest house to the water, on the small road) location that was also close to Damariscotta. I have family north and south of the rental and it was ideally located. Even off season, we were indulged by King Ro pizza (across the street at the top of the drive and really quite good) and the Two Ladies lobster, oysters, and more, place - one drive over, on Thompson Road (the consensus was that November lobsters are the sweetest!), where we got steamed lobsters to go. Communication with the owners was great and all was just as described (including the trash pick up, although I took my recycling over to the Transfer Center in Bristol - just because I like to do that). A great Thanksgiving stay and certainly recommended!
The property was great with a gorgeous view of Round Pond Harbor. The inside of the house was very well decorated and with modern appliances and antiques. I know this sounds trivial, but it was great to have a dishwasher as well as being able to just put your trash and recyclables just outside in the bins without having to take them to a Transfer Station. The week we stayed was unusually hot and the house did get pretty toasty during the day. I think the skylight contributes to that. Fortunately, there were fans in every room as well as a ceiling fan in the main room. The one improvement I would suggest is getting more deck furniture. The house has a gorgeous wraparound deck but only 3 Adirondack chairs to sit in. There was a table but no chairs for the table. We invited some friends over and we had to grab the 3 kitchen chairs and the desk chair in the office room and put them outside so everyone would have a place to sit. We brought our dog (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) with us and this house was absolutely perfect. It was way down the hill from the main road so we didn't have to worry about him when we let him outside. There was also enough property for him to wander around and get exercise. The location in Round Pond was also great. Just up the hill was King Ro Market and a great coffee shop along with the Granite Store was not far away.
We loved this property, and have decided that it is our favorite of all times here in mid-coast Maine. We have been visiting this area for thirty years or so, so that’s saying something! Quiet, off season, allows pets, tiny quintessential Maine fishing village, gorgeous cottage on the water with all the necessary amenities. Perfection.
For us,,,,,,the house and the location just work out perfectly. The house is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. And the view is just so relaxing.
A glass of wine, some cool jazz on the smart speaker -- and just sit back and chill out. This is the perfect place for that.
Could not have asked for a better experience for our first trip to Maine!! House was perfect, views were stunning, and proximity of quaint little town within walking distance was an added bonus. Such peaceful comfort for all in our group, including our dog! We have already booked our stay here for next year!
We realized siting on your deck there are no words to describe the view. The reflections of the sun on the water, the moon on water reflecting off the boats was something we could watch for hours. The house is perfect. Location is great. Our dogs loved laying on the deck. We would absolutely come here again.
.
Waking up each morning to the sun rising over the water is probably my most ideal way to wake up! The space worked well for my wife, and 2 kids (6 and 3) while we up visiting family in nearby towns. My son was particularly happy we were so close to the Granite Hall Store, one of his favorite places!
We would definitely return next time we’re up!
We loved our time at Pi’s Landing. The house overlooks a busy harbor and is walking distance to a general store, fish market and a few restaurants. Owners were responsive. We already booked another visit for next May!
Pi's Landing is family home, managed by family members of a long-time area family. Our cottage was originally built as a family access point to an island out on Muscongus bay. Throughout the summer, family members will come and go from the dock located down below the house.
