Great for a large group
We really enjoyed our stay & the property was perfect for our group of 11. Having 2 kitchens was very useful!! The property was up to a good standard but we provided the owner with the following feedback: 1. We had an issue with the hot water. In the showers, it was either boiling hot or freezing cold. To bath the children, we had to use the kettle to get hot water. There was no obvious problem with the boiler. 2. We noticed quite a few ants around the kitchen floors 3. We thought the kitchen floors could be a little cleaner (hair & collected dust in corners etc) 4. There was no opportunity for recycling of rubbish I.e separate bin for cardboard, plastics etc. Overall, we didn’t let these issues affect our enjoyment of our stay as it was a long awaited reunion but a few improvements could be made given the cost of hire.

Fantastic stay in beautiful cottages
The cottages are truly stunning. We stayed as a group of 10 adults and babies. The cottages have everything you could need and we really enjoyed our relaxing stay.

Very well maintained and equipped.
We squeezed in 8 adults, 7 children and 3 dogs for our annual family get together. If I am honest it was too much of a squeeze! Still we did it and had a lovely time. The unit is cottages with connecting doors, each cottage almost a mirror of the other..it did mean we could separate the dogs for night time (there is a field behind the pub in the square perfect for exercising the dogs) Lots of televisions all with Netflix perfect for the varying ages to watch different programmes. As we chose the wettest windiest weekend the TVs were a godsend. Our plans were scuppered by the weather, we still enjoyed ourselves. These 2 cottages are perfect for large groups that want to put children to bed and have some adult time as well.

beautiful holiday home
What a fabulous place for a family to stay, it was everything we wanted, great facilities, fresh and clean decor, tvs in every room and well equipped kitchen. 4 star review because we took our dog, the cottages were close to the road and the garden was in a shared courtyard with no private area. The cost to take the dog was expensive.

Beautiful property conveniently located with plenty of space
Ten adults, five children, one brilliant weekend away. The house was finished to such a high standard we were all blown away with the quality of the rooms and generous living space. Everything we needed was there in the house, including child friendly plates! Being able to easily move between the two properties was fantastic and made cooking meals much easier for a large group. There was plenty of parking for our five cars and it was really easy to get to for all of us (we live all over the UK). The only downside was that we couldn't work out how to get the heating to work in one of the living rooms. Luckily the other room was large enough for all of us so we didn't need to resort to contacting the owner.

Beautiful property, very comfortable.
Really enjoyed our two night stay. Wished it has been longer as could have found plenty to do, especially in the Peak District. Had a lovely day in Buxton and a really fun time at Shugborough (National Trust). The property had plenty of room for us all and was beautifully presented. We did think that more plastic cups would have been useful as we had 6 children in our party, a few more implements would have made things a bit easier too. Couldn't get Sky working on all TVs but these are small issues. Would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely cottages and well equipped. Few areas needing some attention.
Newly renovated and well decorated cottages that interlink. Great for large families. Well equipped kitchen and good amenities. Location was wonderful and caverswall and the surrounding area really had something for 4 generations! Instructions for arrival and contact with Donna was also superb. Few minor things could do with a touch up and if there was a plan to put in stoves in the fireplace gaps that would be fabulous. Thanks Donna for offering out the lovely homes.

Beautiful Accomodation - Recommended!
Beautiful accommodation, very clean and tidy, modern facilities whilst still maintaining the charm of an older building (i.e. visible beams). Caverswall is a quaint location with a nice pub! We had a great time staying at Dove Farm Barns. Thanks!

Fantastic accommodation in lovely surroundings!
This accommodation is perfect for a relaxed get away with family and friends. Ideal for large groups as there were 10 of us so we had two cottages that had an adjoining door so it felt like one big one and meant we could all socialise together easily when the kids were in bed! Beautiful kitchens equipped with everything you would need. We had a wonderful weekend and would recommend this accomdation to anyone visiting the area.
