About this property

STL001478- This home/duplex provides everything you need! Fully stocked kitchen, and amenities. Beautiful finishes throughout with a recent remodel to the kitchen and living room. This is a three bedroom, two bath duplex that sleeps six comfortably. It is the upstairs area, with beautiful views of the southern side of East Vail. We have updated beautiful new bathrooms/kitchen/flooring throughout. New furniture and fixtures in all three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed with private bathroom. The second bedroom has a king bed, and the third bedroom has a double/double bunk bed, built sturdy enough for adults. We have wonderful down comforters on all beds and nice quality sheets. It can accommodate two families comfortably. We have a heated enclosed two car garage, with ski storage for our renters. We have room for two cars, with no additional parking available. Washer and dryer for our tenants are located off the kitchen.
This is a spacious duplex with 1900 square feet. It has a beautiful large kitchen with eating area, and a comfortable living room, with gas fireplace. We have a private, 7 person hot tub to soak all of those sore muscles, after a long day of skiing!
We are located in East Vail, with the free Town of Vail bus stop just two blocks away. There is a national forest within walking distance for those of you that like to hike or snowshoe. Not only is this a wonderful location for skiing in the winter, it is also an incredible summer home, with beautiful mountain views from the deck.
Come and enjoy all the Vail has to offer!
(We have an owners apartment downstairs, with its own entrance that does not infringe on our guests privacy. It is not occupied full time and used occasionally. We will always notify you if it will be occupied during your visit.)

Great stay

Very nice rental home that was convenient to the slopes. The hot tub was great after skiing each day. The condo is spacious and has everything we needed.

NIcely remodeled older upstairs unit of duplex

Your home in East Vail is nice but not five star. It is nicely remodeled, but we weren't expecting such an older/dated property from the online photos. The master bathroom is very small and the toilet kept running and I had to continually remove the toilet lid in order to get it to stop running.

Solid Place to Stay in East Vail

Kate, the owner/property manager, was very thorough with her communications and the check in process was very easy. She even emailed to let us know that the place would be available earlier than 4:00 if we needed it, which I have never experienced with any other VRBO I have used. The townhome was in great condition, well stocked, and very clean. It was perfect for my family of 4, and we all appreciated the private hot tub after a day on the slopes. The one slight negative, if there is one, is the unit's location in East Vail. It was my family's first time staying in East Vail, and we noticed the busses were much more crowded than other places we have stayed in Vail previously. Not a deal breaker at all, and we would love to visit this property again in the future.

Annual family ski trip

We were thrilled with the condo! Fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, everything in great shape and high end. Perfect for our group of 5, we had plenty of space and all of the amenities we wanted. Also very convenient was the short walk to the bus stop to catch the free shuttle into town. I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in East Vail

We have stayed at many VRBOs but this maybe the best. The kitchen was very well stocked. The place was immaculate. The linens and beddings were fresh and comfortable. And the location is excellent for no matter what activity you want to do.

Amazing Stay in Vail!!

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is perfect for anyone looking to stay in Vail! The neighborhood is quiet. It is in the perfect location, about a 5 to 7 minute drive to Vail Village. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. The living room is cozy with the fireplace, high ceilings and picture like windows overlooking the snow in the front yard and mountains. The mountain views from the hot tub is spectacular (especially after a long day on the slopes). The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed. The master bathroom has a huge shower. The half bathroom in the halfway has a tub/shower combo. The garage is heated and it has plenty of room to store your ski equipment (if needed). Kate was so helpful and responsive before and during our stay. We will definitely be back again! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home.

Fall Colors in Vail

What a nice place to stay. Very modern and comfortable. Easy access in and out of the house/neighborhood and close to restaurants and shopping in Vail. Would be a great place to stay to catch some fall colors or spend some time at the resort during the winter.

Amazing property close to Vail Village

Very nice place to stay. We’ve booked through VRBO several times, and this was by far the most well-appointed rental we’ve stayed in. It doesn’t feel like a rental property either—this felt like we were staying in a friend’s place! Absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and spotless. We stayed here for a wedding in Vail and it was the perfect location. You really can't go wrong renting this sweet condo in Vail. It's in the perfect location for a ski vacation (literally 5 minutes to Vail village) and the condo itself is perfectly appointed. You can tell that the owners have put a ton of thought into all of the details -- gourmet kitchen appliances, comfy beds, quality linens, nice supply of travel toiletries if needed, private hot tub w/view, large 2-car garage, etc. Communication with the host was easy, timely and super professional. Would 100% stay here again if we were back in the area!

Great Home!

The home is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and clean. Excellent location in East Vail out of the crowded center but with convenient bus services to all of Vail. Nice neighborhood with great walks just outside the door. The large garage eliminated any parking worries. The hosts are very nice and helpful.

Beautiful Mountain View….

My family and I stayed with our two toddlers the end of July 2022. We needed a place that was big enough for four adults and two kids. It is an upper unit with a deck and large hot tub surrounded by beautiful hills and mountains. We all got quite the good cardiovascular workout going up and down the stairs and walking down the roads due to the altitude. -Plenty of hiking trails close by. There is also a paved walking trail at a park(about a 15 minute walk from the unit) that goes along a beautiful creek. -The bus line is just down the road. We chose to take our rental car into Lionshead and Vail Village because of our two children. But we did not have any issues finding parking in the villages. There are plenty of free parking lots. Be aware that there are some that charge so you just need to watch the signs carefully. -The unit itself has a spacious living room and a beautifully remodeled kitchen. There are lots of kitchen supplies-i.e. glasses, plates, bowls, frying pans, spices, cooking spray, olive oil, Ziploc bags etc. This was a pleasant surprise as we weren’t quite sure what we would all need to buy at the grocery store. We chose to get groceries at Safeway which is less than a 10 minute drive on I70 into West Vail. -The owner(Kate) was very responsive prior to and during our stay. She even provided suggestions for activities to do with our two kids which was great. The only two negatives(which weren’t even a big deal): -there is no air-conditioning(which we knew ahead of time). There are a couple of box fans located in the unit and at night it does get cooler. But we were there during a week when it was in the mid-80s so just be prepared for that. 2. The unit butts up to the highway. During the day there is quite a bit of loud traffic. If you are a light sleeper bring a sound machine to drown out the big trucks that go back-and-forth. Overall, great place and great experience in Vail. We would definitely stay here again.

A perfect mountain getaway

The property is beautifully renovated, very clean, fully equipped, and overall super comfortable. The patio was our favorite with a wonderful view to enjoy meals and the hot tub. Host/hostess are very nice and helpful. The location is a minute away from a local grocery store and minutes away from all Vail has to offer. We had a wonderful time.

Great ski getaway!

We have a great time at this VRBO. While, the most of our time was spent at the mountain - it was great to come back jump in the hot tub and relax. Comfy beds, very clean and great location to the mountain. Highly recommend!

Wade and Kate are one of four families (all siblings) that purchased this Duplex in 2014. We wanted a large place that had privacy and its own yard. We have been able to enjoy this home year round, with three of the four families living nearby in Evergreen Colorado. We love its close proximity to the free Town of Vail bus, Vail Village, hiking and biking trails and of course the world class skiing at Vail!

Why they chose this property

This property had beautiful outdoor space and was just what we were looking for in a mountain home. It is close to everything and we love the outdoors. We are all skiers and hikers, and we enjoy the close proximity to the free town of Vail shuttle bus, that is so convenient when there is a large group. We love the winter months, but the summer is truly incredible in the mountains.

What makes this property unique

If you love the outdoors, we are walking distance to an amazing national forest. Our home has a private deck with a beautiful hot tub. The free town of Vail bus is convenient, and provides great transportation to everything! Let the kids/young adults explore at their leisure. Not only are the winters amazing in Vail, but the summers are even better. So many outdoor activities and beautiful fresh mountain air!
