Great location!

Right next to the best beach, amazing amenities with great food, fitness center, and pool with slide. Excellent stay here!

Great location, great management company

Overall, it was a great condo. The only thing I'll add is that the property does not have an umbrella, nor beach toys and there were a few fresh mouse droppings in the unit - maybe 15-20 during our stay. We cleaned them up as we saw them, but the company should be aware.

Kauai is beautiful

I love Kauai, it’s a beautiful place and the people are incredible. I was disappointed in the condo. The first day there my kids saw a cockroach in the kitchen and it was big, I would say the size of a mouse. We named him Mickey and only saw four other times. I’m sure cockroaches are common in Kauai, but these were the largest I have ever seen. Also one of the reasons we rented a condo was to do laundry and it was broken , they did offer a laundry service but that just not very convenient. And be aware that the A/C is a portable unit in the master bedroom only. We went in March so we never needed it but if it was hot out the upstairs bedroom (a loft closed off to be a bedroom) would be very hot

The place is nice overall. I just wish that it had AC in both rooms. We left fans running bc it would get so hot. The loft beds are decent but are meant for kids. The shower drain kept coming loose in our bathroom and there was hair on the wall when we walked into it. The one pool we went to was nice, but didn't have the hot tub. The one by the office did, but that one is in need of some work (put in a really weird spot as well). It would of been nice if there had been some spices or oils in the kitchen for guests who want to cook food. It must makes it a little more of a hassle to have to buy spices when your traveling. Other then that it was a nice place. Just needs a few updates.

Many issues

As we arrived in Kauai we were told The condo that we originally booked had a water leak and we were relocated to two different condos because there was nothing available for the whole week. The first condo was amazing and a great location, huge and very nice! We were very close to the ocean had a beautiful sunset view!!! We figured the next condo would not be as amazing but were willing to try. As suspected The second location we had to move to was less than optimal, very outdated with rust on the refrigerator and right on the street so listening to traffic on the lanai. We were not happy with that option so we asked the office and they did rebook us another condo for the next day which was much nicer, very clean and had a great lanai - Overall the office was pleasant to work with and tried to accommodate our needs! The complex was beautiful and had nice swimming pool options and a really great location., easy walking to many beaches and food options! Overall The office tried very hard to accommodate us and were very pleasant and professional and helping us through our challenges. It was just difficult for our week in Kauai that we had planned to stay in one place and ended up in three locations.

Great condo

Great condo easy parking. The only thing is the stairs up to loft are not up to code. Very short tread step. Only 7.5 inches. Should up date stair for insurance. Just in case someone falls which we almost did. Other than that everything was prefect.

Very accommodating for toddler

We loved this property! Traveling with a 16 month old is not the easiest but the property management company made it easier. They were able to provide a pack n play as well as a high chair which was able cut down on our luggage, very helpful! You also have access to 3 different pools and are walking distance to one of the best kiddie beaches and playground. We loved stocking up fresh produce at farmers market and enjoyed being able to cook at home and avoid the chaos of toddler tantrums at restaurants

Needs a real AC unit, dated, lots of bugs

Location is okay, but the walk to the beach is not as close as you think especially if you have kids and a lot of stuff. My biggest complaint is the lack of a real AC unit—it only has a VERY LARGE stand up unit that makes a ton of noise and takes up all the space in a small master bedroom. We had a 3 year old who we struggled to find space in the bedroom for the pack n play. We had to utilize the closet space to fit it. Also the AC unit blows directly into that area so we couldn’t use it at night. And the room is still pretty hot even when it’s on. The upstairs room can not be used because it is too hot up there, there is no ac anywhere but the master. There are a ton of bugs that somehow make their way into the house because windows have to be open because it’s so hot. Place is very dated, broken blinds and vents. Also the master shower is incredibly tiny. For the price, you can find better.

Great Rental

Great property, perfect location.

We were asked to switch locations due to the owner of our initial property visiting the island. They arranged to change our stay at no extra cost, provided a pack n play, high chair and baby gate. The coffee machine wasn't working so they changed it. They were excellent, service was perfect, condo was spotless, views were great and overall we love our stay. Cannot wait to go back!

Great location, dated decor.

The location is great. Its a beautiful area with easy access to the beach and a nice pool area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The health club, which you get free access to, is a very short car ride away and very nice. The only draw back about this place is that it hasn't be remodeled since the 60's. Everything is old and dated. It feels a bit cheap and worn down. There is only one A/C, a portable unit in the master bedroom, so the loft area becomes very warm. This was not a huge issue for us as it was just my wife and I, but if someone had been sleeping upstairs it would have be rough. If I was to stay in this area again, I would look for a different unit on the resort.

Dated but everything works.

The good: 1. There is a portable AC unit in the master bed room, it works well after maintence fixed the heat exhaust duct connection; but it’s noisy. 2. Every thing works and the pools are great. 3. Great location, end unit and very quite. 4. Beach towels and 2 bogie boards in the condo. The bad: 1. Only salt and pepper are provided for cooking. No basic spices or cooking oils. Only a few packs of sugar provided for coffee. You need to bring all your cooking supplies which is absurb for a vacation rental. 2. Laundry soap provided for only two loads. 3. There is no BBQ grille at the condo. There are some community grilles located several buildings away. It’s too hot to cook inside. 4. It was hot in the condo, no AC. We left the sliding door open with the screen closed and we received several notices from security that it was not safe to do that in this community. 5. The 10:00 AM check out is too early, it should be Noon as check in is 4:00PM. Summary I would stay here again. We only used the condo as a base camp as there is so much to do outside. If you are just going to stay in your room, you might want to upgrade as it can get uncomfortably warm in the condo.

Price is right

We had a great trip to Kauai. The Condo is in a good location. Takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. Wasn't quite how we imagined the walk as it's basically down the road through the parking lot, not across grass like we thought from viewing photos. Condo is spacious and comes with beach towels and a couple boogie boards. We weren't there much other than to sleep. It gets really hot and the only AC is a portable unit in the master bedroom. The advertisement for the condo says under amenities that it has AC. That's as far down as I read so that's my own fault as further down the page it gives the key detail that AC = portable AC unit if the master bedroom. The loft turns into a sauna which means the kids can't sleep. As a matter of fact they were all crawling into our bed in the Master as it was the only place cool enough to sleep. Meant none of us really got a good night sleep. This condo would be excellent for the money if they just installed an AC unit in the loft. A small investment that would go a long way as it really is the only thing missing. The complex staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Clean end unit. Quiet. Enjoyed daily morning coffee with birds. Great location; great amenities.

We would stay here again. 5 minute walk to beach. Shopping g and restaurants nearby. Includes access to athletic club. Will miss our daily visitors. Helpful and kind employees at Suite Paradise office.

Good location.

This condo is located in a very nice resort area. The beach and several good restaurants are within easy walking distance. The condo itself was very roomy. Maintenance on it could be better though. We had to call maintenance on our first day because one of the toilets wasn't working right. To their credit, maintenance was there to fix it within the hour. We also noticed that the handle on the screen door was missing, which forces guests to push on the screen to open the door. Eventually, the screen is going to give way and it will create a bigger maintenance issue. This is probably an oversight by the property management company and not the fault of the owner. Otherwise, the condo was well equipped and we had everything we needed. It was nice to be on the ground floor with no one above us, since this particular portion of the building is only 1 story tall. We had a very quiet and peaceful stay.
