The Nook is a lovely stone-built cottage situated in the village of Great Longstone just four miles from Bakewell in the Peak District National Park. The cottage can sleep four people and has one double bedroom and one twin together with family shower room. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is a private front garden with patio and furniture and veranda with furniture. The Nook is an ideal base for exploring this lovely part of the country.

Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, iPod dock, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car, plus roadside parking 150 yards away, on first come, first served basis. Bike storage. Veranda with furniture and private front garden with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and two pubs 2 mins walk. Note: Children over 10 years of age only. Note: This property has some low ceilings. Note: There are steep stone steps alongside the property and a water feature, therefore this property isn't suitable for children under the age of 10.

The village offers two pubs, 18th century stone cottages and a market cross that is situated on the village green, plus the Monsal Trail runs through the village and provides eight and a half miles of traffic-free walking and cycling.
