We were happy staying here due to the convenient location and the dog-friendly back yard. Our Thanksgiving reservation allowed us to visit local family without having to board our dogs. We may be staying here again for future visits to the area.
We enjoyed our vacation time at this property. We were pleased seeing how spacious and comfortable the place is. We visited the historic District of Mt. Dora and enjoyed our time strolling through all the shops and seeing how many wonderful restaurants are available. The place was clean and the host was accessible and easy to communicate with. LThank you to the nice host for the hospitality.
Very nice well kept home. Great place to stay if you are traveling with you dog. Host very responsive to any questions you may have. Make sure you check out her bookstore in the historic area. Home is close to historic area and many antique shops. Everything a short drive area. Highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again.

excellent stay!
Quick responses to text messages and email. Beautiful comfortable home! Quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac. We will definitely stay here again! Airport lost my bag with hair flat iron in it and owner let me use hers! We were a family of 5, 3 kids 2 adults and fit us pretty good.
We enjoyed our Christmas visit so much this year. We have family in the area, and unfortunately we did not get to spend much time with them because of illness (theirs). The home was a delightful place in which to relax and read, nap, etc. The screened patio is a treasure. Our little dog was right at home. And the neighbors are quite friendly. Our contact, Crissy, is the best!
We just loved staying at this home. Everything was provided and the home was very clean.
We met the owner, Crissy. She was very helpful and assisted us in finding a good dog park for the pooches. The Dogs loved the house and yard. Bringing our dogs was a first for us and this home was perfect!!
We were close to everything Mt Dora has to offer. Just a great location. We will be checking availability of this home during future visits. It was just perfect.

Warm Home away from Home
This vacation home provided the perfect location and amenities for our six week stay. The cozy, clean, and well appointed house is perfect and our host, Crissy, even welcomed us with homemade grapefruit jam. She was available for any questions or needs and provided suggestions for restaurants and local activities. Our two collies made themselves right at home and enjoyed our regular walks downtown or just hanging out in the backyard. We've already booked for next winter.

Best Christmas Ever!
It was always our dream to spend the holidays in FL and we finally got the chance to do it this past December. The house, situated on a nice quiet cul-de-sac had everything we needed. Everything was clean and easy to find. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. Mount Dora is a small, friendly and peaceful community, just close enough to Orlando to be able to visit the theme parks, but away from the hustle and bustle. We got to Universal within 30 minutes. Chrissie is a wonderful and attentive host. We enjoyed it so much we are returning next January to do Disney! Can't wait!
We enjoyed our stay in Mount Dora in the newly landscaped residence. Thought the property was slightly misrepresented as pictures all show a garage which was off-limits to renters. There is no mention of this in the advertisement. We found the available selection of TV channels was limited and should be expanded to include Netflex, ESPN plus others. In other rentals that we have had in Florida we have experienced unlimited TV service. Overall house was clean and serviceable. Some more outside furniture would have been nice. Host responded quickly to any questions we had.
We enjoyed the home. It was very comfortable. In a very nice neighborhood. Mt Dora is a lovely town. The Christmas decorations in downtown Mt Dora were beautiful. The only disappointment in the property was that we were not able to use the garage for our vehicle. The photo of the house showed a garage on the front of the home and that was the deceiving factor for reserving this home.
We were visiting family and love Mount Dora! The town is so cute with shops and restaurants. It was great to stay within walking distance and to be able to bring the pups along. Everything was super clean and easy. We will definitely stay again!
Owner is super responsive and accommodating. Home is as shown and described. Great location, quiet, easy to find. Spacious, kitchen well equipped, sufficient linens, cleaning materials, necessities such as soap, toilet paper, etc. Brand new sofa with plenty of room for several adults. All in all, very comfortable
We stayed at Odonnelly Gardens for 5 nights. The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac. Our kids enjoyed riding their bikes on the dead end road. The house is just a few minutes drive from the heart of the town and grocery stores. The inside of the house was clean and the linens smelled good!!! The house is quiet, no strange noises!!! The description talks about a garden in the back. We did not see a garden, but we did see bushes and weeds. Our dog kept getting burs from the backyard. Kitchen is fully supplied with pots and pans. The only spices are salt and pepper. I would recommend Odonnelly Gardens as a good place to stay. The owner was very nice and easy to get in contact with. We really only had 2 issues and both were quickly taken care of after working with the owner! I'd highly recommend this property!
This house was conveniently located on a cul de sac just minutes away from downtown Mt. Dora. It was very clean with a fully fenced in yard which was perfect for the dogs and the beds were incredibly comfortable!
This well appointed, very clean and comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is located on a very quiet cul-de-sac and is only 1 mile from Mt. Dora's historic downtown. The homeowner Crissy was super responsive at all times. The front door has a keypad which is so nice because you do not have to worry about keeping track of a key all the time. The furniture and beds are super comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking meals at home rather than having to eat out for every meal. I loved that pets were allowed and our dog was able to be with us for our vacation. I would definitely rent here again.

About the host
Hosted by Crissy
I grew up in upstate New York and moved to Florida in 1994 to attend Stetson University. I have called Mount Dora home since 2005 and I can't ever see myself leaving this beautiful little town. Mount Dora is one of the few cities I've lived in where you don't feel like life is passing you by. We're a sleepy little town yet we have so much going on-ALL THE TIME! My partner and I own the bookstore downtown so pop in and say hello!
Why they chose this property
The first time I came to Mount Dora I knew it was where I would buy my first home. Without doing my homework I managed to pick the perfect street to live on. It's a beautifully kept, quiet cul de sac yet still close enough to enjoy downtown. The home was just built in 2004 yet the location gives it a historic charm.
