Charming house and lovely garden

We loved staying at Jan's house in Giens - we enjoyed the private garden in particular, and the location close to the sea. The different beaches in short range to choose from were great, as were the flamingos and the little village of Giens. Good place to start hiking along the "sentier littoral". The house was charming with only a few minor flaws. It has a great layout and is equipped with everything one needs. The large kitchen was a pleasure to use.The ants (only on the outside and wall of the house) were a little annoying, as was the dish-washer, but we were glad, anyway, that there was a dish-washer we could use in a vacation home. The washing mashine is also very practical, especially when traveling with kids. The private parking space is vital for this area, and easily accessible. The garden is even more charming in reality than on the photos. We did not meet our host, but he was always available via message or phone when we contacted him. He always answered immediately and was very friendly. We felt very comfortable there and hope to return for another holiday!

Location Giens moyen

Location au calme par contre plusieurs points négatifs et je ne comprends donc pas cette note : "exceptionnel" Le gros point négatif de cette location est le jardin car il n'est pas du tout entretenu. Les photos ne sont pas conformes (il serait bien de les mettre à jour) tout est ombragé à cause de la végétation et du coup ne parlons pas des moustiques qui les attire encore plus. Je n´ai pas pu ouvrir les volets du salon car trop de végétations. La fenêtre de la cuisine donne sur la terrasse du voisin donc leur table extérieure. Le canapé sur la photo n´est pas un canapé mais une sorte de BZ (photo encore non conforme) La télé ne capte pratiquement aucunes chaînes ; dommage il y a la wifi (une télé plus récente serait plus adapté). Pour les moustiquaires, autant les enlever vu la taille des trous, cela serait moins disgracieux. Je voudrais quand même signaler que la literie est de bonne qualité et avoir des draps fournis + linges fournis est un plaisir. Je pense que cette location était très bien il y a plusieurs années mais manque de rénovation. Audrey

Ruhig gelegenes Haus zur Alleinbenützung, alles vorhanden, auch Fahrräder und Kanus. Hübscher Garten. Wir waren zweimal auf Porquerolles, weil uns die Strände da noch besser gefallen haben.

Nettes ruhiges kleines Haus

Alles in allem ein hübsches Haus für 4 Personen mit schönem kleinen Garten in einer ruhigen Umgebung, 50 Meter zurückgesetzt von der Straße. Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet mit Herd und Mikrowelle und einem kleinen Elektrogrill. "Richtiges" Grillen ist laut Vermieter dort nicht erlaubt. Wir hatten genug Platz drinnen und draussen zum Essen und Trinken und haben uns wohlgefühlt. Das gesamte Appertement könnte aber ein bisschen Pflege gebrauchen, die Fliegengitter in den Fenstern sind ein bisschen alt und nicht richtig angebracht und wir hätten uns über ein paar "richtige" Gläser für den Wein und zusammenpassendes Geschirr für 4 Personen gefreut. Das sind aber nur Abzüge in der B-Note, wir waren ganz zufrieden. Was uns auffiel ist, dass wir keine Klimaanlage und auch keine Ventilatoren gesehen hatten. Wir hatten damit kein Problem, es war nicht heiss aber im Hochsommer könnte es evtl. etwas unangenehm werden aber vielleicht wird sowas ja im Sommer zur Verfügung gestellt.

Angenehmer Urlaub

Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Optimal für reisen mit Hund, da alles eingezeunt ist.Sehr praktisch der Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus.Küche mit allem was man braucht eingerichtet. Vermieter total unkompliziert. Wir kommen wieder.

Schönes Haus in toller Lage

Schönes Haus mit schönem schattigen Garten und Terasse. Tolle Lage: Sowohl der lange Sandstrand als auch eine schöne Bucht und die Geschäfte im Dorf sind zu Fuß (15 Minuten) erreichbar. Am tollsten ist es, dass 2 Kayaks kostenlos zur Verfügung stehen und auch gleich in der Nähe des Hauses eingesetzt werden können. Sehr netter Gastgeber. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden kostenlos gestellt. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen.

SATISFAISANT

Deux petits reproches : le ménage est superficiel, il serait préférable d'inclure un forfait nettoyage au lieu de demander le nettoyage au locataire sortant. La vaisselle aurait besoin d’être renouvelée. Sinon belle pièce de vie, cuisine bien équipée, literie confortable, Jardinet agréable. Mise à disposition de vélos, canoé... fort agréable également. Accueil sympathique et disponibilité du propriétaire. Et surtout parking privé ce qui en période estivale est un vrai plus sur la presqu'ile. Un seul bémol : pas de climatisation avec 33° le jour et 26-27 la nuit il fait très chaud à l'intérieur.

Idéal pour moi qui suis venue avec ma vieille chienne, elle avait accès à un petit jardin clôturé. En cette saison j'ai apprécié le calme. La mer est très proche.

Maisonnette agréable

Maisonnette agréable et bien équipée. Bien située et adaptée pour une famille de 4 avec enfants. Arrivée et départ en autonomie. Bonne communication cependant avec le propriétaire qui est très réactif pour répondre. Literie confortable. Le point d'amélioration serait celui de la propreté notamment pour la vaisselle et le frigo. A recommander pour le confort général et la localisation.

3 jours de dépaysement

Maison agréable à vivre. Terrasse indépendante pour profiter d’un petit jardin fleuri à l’abri des regards. Il ne manque rien : tout est prévu. Merci à Jan pour son accueil, sa discrétion et sa disponibilité. Nous reviendrons.

Un propriétaire à la fois discret et très agréable, une petite maison individuelle très propre et correctement équipée, un jardin très joli, sans vis à vis et avec possibilité de manger dehors... un site (presqu'île de Giens) super.... Bref: Que du bonheur
