The apartment Gemma - Tuscany

The Guest House has large room with billiard, fireplace and kitchenette; relax and TV room; bathroom with shower; two double beds on the mezzanine, with the possibility of extra beds for children. The house is perfect for a couple, a family or a small group of friends. The Terrace is in common with our house and it has a wide space for the guests, with gazebo, large table, hammock, armchairs and BBQ. We also have two very good dogs, and the terrace is in common also with them!
The apartment is surrounded by green hills of Montenero, just south of the center of Livorno, a very quiet place but also easily accessible. Perfect as a base for trips in Tuscany, to discover art cities, medieval villages or to explore the stunning coastline of the province of Livorno. And for those who want to relax a bit, the owner is a Shiatsu Professional Operator of and she is available for treatments. Yoga and Pilates lessons are also available for individuals and small groups.

Stilvolles Ferienhaus in guter Lage
Schön war die Lage, der Billiardtisch, die Outdoor-Küche. Alles war sauber geputzt, aber die Küchenschränke rochen muffelig. Das Haus ist für 5 Personen etwas klein und hatte leider keinen Mückenschutz und nur draußen WLAN.

Super Unterkunft mit Outdoorküche
Wir kannten die Gegend gar nicht, aber Montenero-Livorno ist für uns ein super Startpunkt für viele Aktivitäten geworden. Städtetouren, Radfahren, Wandern, Shoppen und Beachen, alles ist innerhalb von 20-30 Minuten zu erreichen. Besonders toll fanden wir die Outdoorküche und den großen Billardtisch.

Ein wundervolles Haus, in traumhaft schöner Lage, herzlich umsorgt von der Gastgeberfamilie
Es ist uns ein Herzensbedürfnis unsere kurz zusammengefasste Reiseerfahrung mitzuteilen, um interessierten Urlaubern dieses traumhaft schöne Gasthaus zu empfehlen. Schon vor Antritt der Reise bot uns die Gastgeberin ihre Hilfe an, auf die wir den gesamten Aufenthalt zurückgreifen konnten. Ob es um Tipps zu nahegelegenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, regionaler Küche oder Reisezielen der Umgebung ging, stets waren sie, ihr sympathischer Mann oder ihre liebenswerte Mutter für uns erreichbar. Das Haus liegt traumhaft eingebettet auf dem Berg und bietet nicht nur einen atemraubenden Weitblick, sondern auch viel Raum zur Entspannung, fern ab vom lebhaften Treiben der Stadt. Die riesige Terrasse mit seinen unterschiedlichsten Sitzmöglichkeiten werden durch eine Vielfalt von Pflanzen, Bäumen und Blumen gesäumt. Die Räume des Gasthauses strahlen eine Herzlichkeit und Wärme aus, die uns umgehend wie zuhause fühlen ließen. Das stillvolle Mobiliar ist gleich wie all die nützlichen Haushaltsgegenstände und -geräte in gepflegtem Zustand. Der Schöngeist der Gastfamilie zeigt sich auch in den wunderschönen Gemälden und dem passenden Interieur. Für einen erholsamen Schlaf sorgen 5 Betten mit hervorragenden Matratzen, die uns erholsam schlafen ließen. Die frische Meeresprise und die Ruhe bescherten uns friedlichste Träume. Ein besonderes Highlight war für uns der Billardtisch, den wir abends aus reiner Spielfreude ausgiebig nutzten. Wer Sandstrände, den Felsstränden von Livorno vorzieht, findet vergnügliche Badefreude entlang der Marina de Pisa. Pisa selbst, die alt ehrwürdige Stadt Lucca, die Geburtsstätte von Pinocchio namens Collodi und das prunkvolle Florenz sind schnell und sternförmig zu erreichen. Kulinarische Hochgenüsse erfährt man aber auch fußläufig und verzückt den Gaumen aufs Schönste. Alles in allem, können wir diese herzenswarme Atmosphäre in diesem geschichts- und kunstträchtigen Land, mit seinen fremdenfreundlichen Menschen wärmstens empfehlen und hoffen selbst, auf einen erneuten Besuch in einer hoffentlich friedvollen und dem Leben zugewandten Zukunft.

Unterkunft mit schöner Aussicht, perfekte Gastgeber
Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in der Wohnung verbracht. Von der großen Terasse hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf die Umgebung bis hin zum Meer. Besonders der große Biliardtisch hat uns viel Spaß bereitet. Es ist in der Wohnung alles vorhanden was man braucht. Wir waren vor allem froh, dass die Klimaanlagen in den jeweiligen Schlafbereichen bei der Hitzewelle in Italien so super funktioniert haben:-) Die Besitzerin Chiara ist immer für einen da, jederzeit erreichbar und absolut hilfsbereit. Man fühlte sich wirklich willkommen und wie zu Hause. Chiara gibt einen Tips für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, wo man gut einkaufen oder essen gehen kann. Die Wohnung eignet sich sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Pisa, Lucca, Volterra oder an die vielen Strände. Wir werden, wenn wir in der Gegend sind, auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!!

Ottima soluzione Famigliare
L'appartamento è ottimo per una famiglia da tre a quattro persone anche con bambini, cucina in buono stato e una grande lavanderia; possibilità di svago dentro con una grande terrazza e giochi, ma anche fuori con facili ristori da raggiungere(senza auto). Vicinanza al mare senza lo stress della città, con calette come quella del Leone bellissime e ottime per gli appassionati di immersione. Livorno è una città bellissima e si raggiunge in 15 minuti dall'abitazione. 15 giorni volati nel relax

Maison en quartier calme avec tout le confort nécessaire. Les propriétaires sont des personnes adorables et serviables. Bonne situation géographique pour naviguer entre Pise, Florence, Sienne ... Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer ruhig gelegen
Wir haben uns im Juli mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Jugendlichen für 7 Tage einquartiert. Unsere Erwartungen wurden erfüllt, teilweise übertroffen. Es gibt zwei getrennte Schlafbereiche, die jeweils nach unten offen sind. Das Bad ist etwas klein. Ein Gasherd und großer Kühlschrank ist vorhanden. Auf der Terrasse gibt es einen Grill und viele Sitzgelegenheiten mit Pavillon. Hier gibt es auch den einer vollen Blick in das Tal auf das Meer. Es gibt einen tollen Billard Tisch den die Gäste nutzen können. Wir würden wieder dort hin fahren und die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen. Für Familien mit sehr kleinen Kindern ist es nicht zu empfehlen, da die Wendeltreppe nach oben sehr schmal ist. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Restaurants sind eher in Livorno und mit Auto zu erreichen. Es gibt eine Straße vor der Haustür, der in die Berge führt, Zum Wandern oder Radfahren sind Routen ausgeschildert. Die nächsten Strände sind in 10 Autominuten zu erreichen. The White Beach of Rosignano ist etwa 30 Autominuten entfernt. Die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin war sehr gut.

Nice big apartment in the outskirts of Livorno
This apartment is located on a beautiful hill with a great view downward onto the sea from the large patio, which you can use together with the owner of the main house. There is a big table, chairs and even a barbecue grill on the patio, all of which you are allowed to use. Inside the apartment there's a living area in the lower and a sleeping area in the upper level. The two air conditioning units work great to cool down the whole apartment on hot days. A highlight is the giant billiard table on the lower level, which is in good shape and comes together with all necessary tools (balls etc.) for playing, so if you like billiard that is a very big plus! The english-speaking owner was very friendly and helpful, we got a very warm welcome and she gave us some good hints at places we could visit. We were even offered a bottle of wine (but we already had too much wine of our own to drink ;-)). There are two dogs living on the property which are very well-behaved and obviously accustomed to visitors, so we got along with them well and you shouldn't have any problems with them, even if you have kids (our 8 year old girl even really liked having the dogs around). Most of the stuff necessary for daily living is available in the apartment - some, like dishes and cutlery, even in humongous numbers (at least for the three of us, the apartment is obviously also well-suited for a larger group of people). However, there are some tiny things missing: you should bring a coffee maker (preferably for a gas stove, as there is a big gas stove available) and a wine bottle opener with you. I used this as an excuse to finally buy one of those Italian coffee machines that I wanted to take with me as a souvenir anyway ;-) Parking has not been a problem, there usually was enough space near the entrance. The entrance itself is right onto the street, where people drive past pretty fast sometimes, so you need to be a bit careful when leaving. All in all I can very much recommend this place!
