Beautiful waterfront home overlooking the lake. Over-sized deck and screened-in porch with a scenic view of the water. Big open living area with wall of windows. Four bedrooms, two baths, two family rooms(the 2nd is now a basement game room) and a large kitchen.
Located on the private side, Jerdone Island, is one of Lake Anna's best-kept secrets. With access to the warm waters, it's great for any water activity. Launch your boat from the key entry private community boat launch, then tie up the boat in front of the property. During peak summer holidays this side of the lake is less congested with calmer waters than the public 'cold' side. It never freezes so fishing is possible year round. Bring your boat, jet skis, fishing poles, and suntan lotion to this one of a kind getaway!
* Newly added game room featuring classic Pacman arcade game and slate pool table!
*Pedal boat and 2 kayaks included in the rental!
*Water depths vary in the cove so renters using boats may need to exercise caution and discretion when navigating to deeper waters which is less than 30 yards from the dock.
*Renter signing lease needs to be at least 25 years of age and remain on property at all times.

Such a nice spot! The inside was perfectly fine, but the outdoor space is truly the highlight. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything you need for water adventures—kayaks, paddle boards, a pedal boat, plus life jackets for all ages. It’s a peaceful, quiet location with a fantastic outdoor area that made our stay really enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and have fun on the water!
Although we did not have time to enjoy all the great amenities the property and area offered, our stay was enjoyable, the property was clean and location was excellent.
Booked a weekend to meet with our couple friends and our littles. It was great that it was dog friendly too! The house fit everyone very comfortably and we loved the open kitchen/family room and large back deck. The yard was very spacious and is great for outdoor gathering. The dogs loved the lake (we stayed in February so we didn’t go swimming). The house was clean and had a few of the essentials. We packed dishwasher tabs, dish soap and extra paper towel roll that we ended up needing. Very easy check-in and check-out process. Thank you for a great stay we’d love to come back!
We enjoyed our stay. We had access to Lake Anna, a beautiful view, in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was fully stocked. There was plenty of space to hang out.
We stayed here for two night for a family wedding we attended in the area. The house was very clean and everything worked. However the WiFi strength is weak for TV. Beautiful location. We did not use boats or anything outdoors but I’m sure it would be a great spot for summer fun.
Everyone enjoyed their time at this wooded house on the lake. The lake was hot and everyone enjoyed the paddleboards provided (we did not take out the kayaks). We loved that it was dog friendly as our dog had the best time swimming along with us in the lake. Lots of nature to see, we enjoyed watching multiple deer on the property and around the neighborhood.
The owner was always very responsive throughout our stay as well as prior to our visit.
The sliding doors were so clean, I could barely tell there was glass between us and the deck. Simply beautiful but partially obstructed view of Lake Anna. Phenomenal kitchen island. Most of our time was spent in the lake though. Paddle boats were a huge hit. My husband caught so many fish. Slop sink is a nice added touch. Everyone enjoyed the swings and the fire pit for hotdogs and s’mores. Will book again if in the area… only real complaints were broken wood on the outside steps and dock is a bit scary…. And almost no functional outside lights makes it hard to enjoy the property in the dark.
What a wonderful house for a family vacation. All the comforts of home. It was just four of us but the house could accommodate a lot more. Kitchen was well stocked so you could cook at home and enjoy the gorgeous view of the lake! Loved waking up and having coffee down by the water. Would definitely come back!

Kayak fun
The kayaks were so much fun but we did not see the canoe and the peddleboat was broken so we did not use it. I really wished they cut the grass cause everytime I walked back and forth to the house to the lake it was hitting my knees. The step going up to the house is broken so be careful and there is a hole in the dock on the lake. Tv downstairs doesn’t work at all but we did make the most of it and enjoyed the lake and the kayaks and paddle boards.
Great property however the outside and yard could use some attention. Grass was overgrown. Paddle boat was too dirty to use. Deck steps were broken and porches were full of debris and insects. Inside was very clean.
Beautiful home which was very private and quiet. Perfect for a relaxing girls trip. The swings off of the porch were so comfortable! We couldve spent all day in them.
There were a few things that were broken which I brought to the owners attention.
Everything was wonderful! We would love it visit again!

Beautiful scenery.
Quiet and peaceful.
Not clean enough: cobwebs in corners of floors and feelings, window screen and sills extremely dirty, master bedroom futon covered in animal and dirt, sheets were stained and did not match, some dishes were dirty, exterior decks and staircases needed to be swept and wiped off, paddle boat was filled with mud and bugs and was missing steering, kayaks were muddy and buggy as well.
Blinds in master bathroom fell off the mount when o attempted to open them.
Screened patio needed sweeping in the corners and ceiling fan had many cobwebs stuck to it. Exterior doors were covered in leaves and cobwebs making entry unpleasant.
No dishwasher soap was available for the dishwasher.

Peace, Bugs & Fishing
We had a pretty descent time at this place. Though there were a few great things we loved and a few things that weren't so enjoyable. The proximity to the lake, the massive prep space in the kitchen, the air fry capable convection oven, and the general tranquility; makes this place fantastic. The not so great things are: lots of spiders and spider webs inside and outside of the place (outside was expected however, lol), lack of attention to details by the cleaners (dusty in corners and behind television), the internet in the living room was not operable while we were there, and the trash situation was a little confusing (not sure if it was the prior guests or an unknown miscommunication). The overall consensus here is that this place is ideal for the person or people who enjoy being close to the beauty of the lake, but don't expect a luxury experience (there is NO garbage disposal and a tree might fall at any moment). No seriously, a tree fell onto the driveway, while we were there! Our pup did have a fantastic time chasing squirrels, I enjoyed the fishing and cooking in the kitchen, and husband enjoyed the peace and quiet. I hope some TLC goes into the place (basic repairs to the deck and stairs, a deep clean of the entire place, and some grounds maintenance). But even in its current condition, it's a good place that can certainly be great!
Disappointing from the moment we pulled in. I use VRBO quite often. Greeted in the driveway with overflowing large trash bins that had been there for several days. All of the trash bins on the side of the house were also full. They smelled horrible and were disgusting. Host inquired if the trash was left, but never sent anyone to remove the trash. Arrived on a Th evening and they were still full with nowhere to leave our trash by checkout on Sunday. House has a definite funk to it with off putting smells, that are a combo of stale lake water and lack of cleanliness. House is very poorly finished, furnished, and in disrepair. Chunks of paint missing on walls. Screws in walls that looked to have had pictures on them at one point which are now long gone and holes in the doors. Oddly configured home with no bathroom on the first floor, so be aware if you have guests that need a bathroom but may not travel stairs well. My wife reached out to the host upon her arrival to let them know of the moldy showers and shower curtains. Host replied in the morning telling us they would reimburse if we wished to replace the shower curtains. My wife had to clean the bathrooms before we could use them as they were disgusting. Lawn clippings were thick and should have been removed. I messaged the host to rectify as I don’t think this property lived up to the ads or costs. Have waited a week and no response. I definitely would not recommend this property. Ripped off and blown off.

Ok Property
The property was in a good location, private, serene and surrounded by trees. The inside was very clean and an added plus that the linens and towels were provided. Some areas of the house were updated and some areas are showing their age. Arrival and access to the house was easy. The lake was beautiful, especially when the sun was setting. We really enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit. We didn't try to fish off the dock because we felt the water was too shallow.
The exterior of the house could really use a lot of TLC. It does not match the pictures. The gutters were clogged, the siding, deck, windows and sills were very dirty. The pedal boat is missing the steering handle. There was a makeshift one that was not usable. The stairs off the deck are steep and the lights on them were not operating so it was a scary dissent after dark, made even more dangerous with the damp leaves that should have been cleared off before our arrival.
This property could definitely be 5 star with some repairs and maintenance. Overall, we appreciated our stay here.

Great location. Needs TLC
We had a few questions about the property when we first arrived. The owner did not respond to our e mail, text, or repeated phone calls. The house meeds some TLC. Especially the outside and the outdoor amenities. The kitchen equipment needs to be updated and replaced. Especially the pots and pans. Other than the above we enjoyed the fire pit and overall the house.
