Atrani location in heart of village with not too many steps

Francesco made a real difference on our arrival, simply because he met us and showed us to the property and helped with a bag on a very hot day. He communicated extremely well. A great stay!

Nice place, friendly and helpful host

We had a great stay at Francesco’s place. He is very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and had all cooking appliances and utensils available. The two air conditioners were great at keeping the place cool. We liked Atrani better than Amalfi. Only thing is that we found the clothes washer difficult to use, looked like the handle had previously been damaged. Francesco was helpful with this. He is a very nice man and helped carry my luggage up the stairs.

The place to stay........

We could not fault our stay in Atrani - we are really happy we stayed there - quiet but close to all amenities. Francesco was very helpful with any queries we had re the property and getting around the Amalfi coast. The apartment was well located and sufficient for our needs - it was great to have a washing machine! It was clean and not far to get to the Piazza - ie not too many stairs. We highly recommend in staying in Atrani and staying at Francesco's apartment.

THE BEST!

Everything about Francesco and his home is amazing. He looked after us so well, leaving a gift on entry. He made sure we were safe and texted back and forth with us. He also met us in town and walked our bags up to the house. He is so kind and we really loved our stay here.

Spacious apartment in a great neighbourhood

Francesco was a great host, who responded quickly to all messages. He helped us with our luggage at the beginning and end of our stay, which was necessary, because there are very many steps to get up to the apartment. The town of Atrani is great to stay in, quiet, with several good restaurants and just 10 minutes walk to Amalfi, where you catch the bus and ferry to everywhere. The apartment is very spacious. The shower is great. There is a washing machine and line - very handy for longer stays. Cons - the bed is not very comfortable. Only 1 towel and 1 pillow each. No toaster. Fixing these would have meant a 5 star rating.

We love Atrani

Great place to stay if you’re looking for cheaper than Amalfi. It’s a 10min walk to Amalfi and a beautiful one for sure. Francesco was easy to communicate with even with his very little English - he did his best. He helped us with our bags and honestly the stairs were so fine. There were 5 of us and we all had heavy luggage. We loved our little Atrani view the place and didn’t mind that it wasn’t a sea view. The only downside is the Wifi almost practically doesn’t work and although it says 5 bars it barely loaded google searches which made it hard for the day to day planning. The other downside was, we had to buy toilet paper. Which in our opinion, is the very bare minimum and should always be provided. But all in all, the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. The beds for all 5 of us were made, and linen and towels were provided on arrival. Overall, everything was easy in Atrani and do recommend it, as it’s great value for the Amalfi area in terms of accommodation. Maybe just bring toilet paper once you’ve booked ;)

Atrani....Good for the Amalfi Coast

On arrival we were met by the owners friend, who actually carried our baggage to the apartment,that was a REAL plus. The apartment was a disappointment at first. There a old table cloth Which still had egg shell on it and not really enough equipment for a Self catering apartment,no kettle, a small frying pan and very basic other other utensils. The bathroom was a small laundry/bathroom .....with a washing machine, but not the bathroom pictured, the shower was in need of a good cleaning to remove mould. The dirty tablecloth and kettle, frypan were resolved quickly but it was a disappointing start and after " Sleeping on it " we enjoyed our week stay in Atrani

Great apartment in the heart of Atrani

The apartment is a short 10-15 minute walk to Amalfi. Our host Francesco was great! There are 60 steps to climb up to the apartment and Francesco helped carry our luggage. The apt was very clean and spacious near local restaurants.

Atrani Rental

Our stay in Atrani was amazing, the rental unit is right in the Atrani central zone, and located super close to nearby Amalfi. Francesco was very responsive and friendly and we’d frequently run into him on the streets of Atrani. He was also very helpful with giving us tips for the Amalfi Coast area in general (restaurants, where to rent scooters, etc.) would highly recommend this rental.

A very nice stay in a beautiful town.

We loved our stay. Francesco was very prompt with communication. He helped us with our suitcases (there are many steps to go up to the apartment) and answered any questions we had. Cellular connection is not very good in and near the apartment (so is the wifi), but it was not a big problem for us, because we spent most of our time outside. Atrani is so beautiful and relaxing! You can swim right outside of the apartment, dine in one of the restaurants downstairs at the piazza or walk 10 min to Amalfi. If you come by train to Salerno, i would recommend taking a ferry to Amalfi instead of a bus. The bus was crowded and the drive was long and unpleasant. The ferry on our way back was lovely.

Great location

My friend and I stayed here for a few days. The host was extremely helpful. we had an issue with the washer and he came right away to fix it. I will say inside the apartment we didn’t have service and the wifi wasn’t super reliable. We had to go about five minutes towards to beach to get good service. Not a deal breaker at all just something o be aware of. overall would recommend!!

Fabulous town and stay

The host Francesco was so friendly and carried my heavy suitcase up all the stairs which was so helpful! We loved the town, so convenient, short walk to Amalfi. Loved the cute cafe down on the waterfront and the beach is so nice. The accommodation is very spacious and quiet. The only thing that could have been better is the wifi. But ok close to the window. We would stay here again for sure!
