Beautiful Beach Escape - Just Steps Away From Pier

Welcome to Chateau by the Sea #402! We hope you will find our condo to be the answer to your stress-free visit to BEAUTIFUL Cocoa Beach! Please let me know if you have any questions!

The unit measures 900 sq ft and is south facing with a private balcony for beach viewing. The ventilation system in this unit includes a 12 Merv HEPA filter and UV light for cleaning the indoor air.

Our rooftop is now open! Enjoy rocket launches and breathtaking views while hanging out 6 stories up. Tables and chairs are provided!

The living room is decorated in a relaxing coastal theme and has a 55" flatscreen TV. There is seating for 4 at the dining table, along with 3 barstools at the kitchen counter.

The master bedroom has a comfy king size bed with 25" flat screen TV. The private bath has a tub/shower combo.

The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin size beds with TV. The 2nd bathroom has been recently updated with a new tiled shower.

There were old dirty floor mats and the bathroom fan was caked with dust and was soooo loud. I would have thought whoever cleaned the condo and the property manager would have noticed these things long before I stayed there. But when I called they came and fixed it right it right away. I love staying there. 🌴🌴🌴🌴

Ideal Cocoa Beach Location

i was booked in larger accommodations for my 1st two weeks in the Cocoa Beach - Cape Canaveral area where friends and family members joined me for varying lengths of time and ended up needing to reserve three additional nights prior to my scheduled flight home. I felt extremely fortunate to be able to reserve this two bedroom, two bathroom unit in a great location, which met my needs perfectly for my remaining three nights in the peak of the spring break period, and it was cheaper than any local hotel rooms that I could find! It was in a five story condo building directly on the beach with a great swimming pool, a great viewing deck on the roof and just steps away from the Cocoa Beach Pier and great restaurants! While the furnishings were OK, I would recommend an upgrade for some of the more dated items and recommend that the Condo Association look into the installation of self-service, combination locks on all of the Unit doors, which would be very appealing to owners, renters and guests! I would definitely return and highly recommend to others!

Great New Years get away with a Rocket launch view

We had a great time and was able to see a Rocket launch from Cape Canaveral only 15 miles away from the 4th floor walkway (north side of building). We always do a New Years weekend trip, and wanted to try Cocoa Beach. Still alot of things to do around Cocoa Beach, and this place is right on the Atlantic ocean near the city Pier. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Condo was extremely clean. Linens were updated from the pictures posted on the site. Spare room has a walk in shower that has been updated with tile. The master bath still has a normal tub/shower. Kitchen had all that we needed to prepare breakfast and snacks. This is a quick short drive the Kennedy Space Center, and Cocoa Village (great little shopping/restaurant area. We also were able to drive to Disney Springs within 1 hour distance. Check-in was very smooth. I would recommend a stay here for any one who needs a great comfortable stay on the Space Coast.

The beds were sloppily made, cleaners need to clean behind doors & shower floor in 1/2 bath. Upstairs dwellers moved chairs by dragging constantly.

Overall, property was nice although it smelled musty, probably due to no occupancy. The bathroom in the twin room has a crack in the toilet seat which i can't believe hasn't been resolved. Also the extract fan in that bathroom is extremely noisy. I have reported this issue on the return envelope for the keys.

Not what we expected

When we arrived at the location there were damp towels in the dryer. Dishes in the dishwasher. Went to take a shower in master bedroom and the shower wouldn't turn on. Didn't call maintenance right away for it was a Saturday. Sat at the kitchen table and it was wobbly as well as the chairs. We called Monday and left 2 messages only to get a call back and the call ended up being disconnected. Did the realty company call back no. Finally my husband saw a maintenance guy on property but they don't service the unit. My husband was able to borrow an Allen key to tighten the wobbly table and chairs. Never heard a word from maintenance until they knocked on our door on Sun at get this 5am. We didn't open the door for who the heck sends maintenance on a Sunday at 5 am couldn't see who was at the door like they purposely stayed out of view. The whole time I was in touch messaging the owner who said she would refund the cleaning fees. Have yet to see that. We have stayed at other places and did not have any problems. Owner should hire another cleaning person for I found smart water bottle under the bed. I cleaned out the built up lint in the dryer. Even after cleaning out the dryer it too forever for the clothes to dry. Found dirty dishes in the cupboard that I had to rewash all the plates before we used them. We were very disappointed and will not stay here again. Wish The negative reviews were posted before we booked otherwise we would not have booked at this place.

Beautiful place in an awesome location

Clean, large, and in the perfect location. Dont be dismayed by the first picture, not sure why they put that as the first dark picture, the place is light airy and has a large partial ocean view. They got new cleaners and the place is spotless. We saw two launches off the balcony and the building has a rooftop with chairs and tables with a direct view of launches right above the 5th floor. Building has a nice pool and is right on the beach

We had a nice stay, the location was really nice and close to all the entertainment. Everything was good in the condo, it could need a little bit of love, but practically everything you needed was there. The only thing is that there’s no beach umbrellas, so you need to bring yours.

Cleanliness and items of concern

The reason we gave you a 3 star on cleanliness was a few reasons. Under the couch cushions had not been cleaned in awhile, there was candy stuck underneath the cushion that we removed. There was also a plastic bag and a lot of crumbs under the couch cushion. The kind of people we are, we swept all that up and cleaned the underneath. The towel ring must have fallen off the wall as it was under the sink in the master bathroom. The ceiling fan globes were loose and rattling, we had to tighten them up. The one in the front bedroom is out of balance and wobbling real bad. I also want to mention there is a warm spot in the floor right as you walk in to the living next to the chair. Not sure if this is a problem that needs to be addressed but thought we would mention it. Saturday and Sunday we weren't in the room that much to notice the temperature was 75-76, and when we cooked it went to 80 and took forever to cool back off. So on Monday we called the office to have someone come check. A man came and added freon which made the temperature finally come down to 71 but that was as low as it got. One more thing to mention, if I was an owner it would concern me inside of the front door on the left side there is water damage to the baseboard but it in my opinion it needs to be looked at.

Wonderful Condo

Had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was perfect for my family and in a great location. Loved being right on the beach and in walking distance to the pier. The area had great shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Condo

Everything was as expected in the listing. Perfect location, quiet building, excellent beach access and rooftop balcony. Very clean, great kitchen, two bathrooms were very handy to get the family moving. The pool was great, the kids loved it. The condo was perfect for two adults and two kids, all of whom can't wait to go back again!

Cocoa Beach Chateau

Location by the pier, pool and beach were all great. Unit was nice & clean. Only negative was getting a good nights sleep. Bldg is not very well sound-proofed. Could hear kids in unit above bouncing a ball or something at 7 a.m.; ceiling fan in second bedroom wobbles and tics no matter what speed but if you turn it off, the room gets stuffy. Had AC set to 70 but temp rarely got below 74. Trash truck came at 6:45 a.m. on Saturday.

Perfect location. I also loved having the roof top and pool.

This property is right across the street from a friend of mine I’ve known for 60 years. I usually stay at her place but her and her husband were going to be there and she saw this property through VRBO and that’s how I got this condo. I LOVED everything about the unit, pool, ocean and near my dear friend. I would love to book this property next year for at least 2 weeks.

Disappointed in December

The location is great; however, this property was not ready for us when we arrived. The hurricane shutters were stuck closed, the balcony furniture was in the living room and there was a musty odor that never left the furniture in the master bedroom. I will do my best not to rent from the property manager again. They did not handle the situation very well. First, they said no one was available to come to the property to get the shutters open, because it was Sunday. Then they sent someone, but they were only able to get 2 of the 3 shutters up. I messaged them 3 times regarding the odor. They gave me a day when someone would come, but they were a no call, no show. The next day someone came, but said they couldn’t smell a musty odor.

Beautiful condo with everything we needed

The condo was perfect-so bright and clean and plenty of room! We loved the rooftop deck-it was perfect for watching the sunrise and we got to see a rocket launch! It was right next to the pier, and walking distance to a lot of restaurants and the grocery store. The beach chairs, toys, and books were a really nice touch. We will definitely be back-thank you!

Great property for a few days getaway

We really liked this property. Close to the beach. Pool. Our only issue was the pier Nextdoor wasn’t for fishing, which was one of our draws. But we found another one a few minutes away. The living space was comfy. Easy to maneuver for a family of 4. My one critique would be that there were not a lot of towels. No kitchen towels just pot holders. Only 2 bath towels, 3 hand towels and 4 washcloths. Luckily we brought pool towels, but it was hard to dual purpose them. Overall a great place with easy, laid back peaceful stay.

Just ok.

The property was fine. Nothing special. The view from the balcony posted on the site was not as good as they made it appear. There was a pigeon nest on the patio, thus pigeon poo and feathers all over the place. So it wasn’t a nice place to sit anyway. The bathroom door was off the hinge. As in there we’re no screws holding it in. I contacted the property manager about both. She stated they were pressure washing balconies next week, which was no help to me and that she would put in a work order to have the door fixed that day. No one ever came. The property was nice but nothing special. Like most other places at the beach.

Why they chose this property

We brought our family to Cocoa Beach for a summer getaway one year and fell in love with the Atlantic Ocean - and decided it was the perfect vacation spot for our growing family! We purchased our first condo in 2010 and decided to rent it out when we weren't staying there. Now as our family is getting larger, we've added the 2nd condo!

What makes this property unique

First and foremost, we chose this property because of it's beautiful location and proximity to the Ocean. There's nothing like being lulled to sleep by the melodic sounds of ocean waves! The added benefit of rocket launches, the pier and Ron Jon's are just the icing on the cake!
