WOODPECKERS COTTAGE, romantic, with open fire in Church Stretton
A charming cottage, next to the owners’ home, in the historic market town of Church Stretton and sleeping two people in one bedroom.
Woodpeckers Cottage is a cosy property, located at the end of a private driveway and adjacent to the owners’ home, sitting prettily against a wooded backdrop, in the historic market town of Church Stretton. It sleeps two people in one double bedroom which also has a dining area and sitting area, and there is also a kitchen and a separate shower room. Outside there is a lawned garden with a patio and a BBQ, as well as off road parking for one car. The Shropshire town of Church Stretton is a real delight to visit, with independent shops, cafes and pubs aplenty, whist there are many activities nearby to keep you busy, such as birdwatching, hang gliding and cycling. Woodpeckers Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the numerous attractions splendid South Shropshire has to offer.

Town: The pretty market town of Church Stretton lies in the heart of south Shropshire. It is set amid striking scenery and has often been described as "Little Switzerland". The town is the main centre for Shropshire’s hill country and home to a variety of tea rooms, pubs and specialist shops.
