Make yourself at home in this lovely oasis just 10 mins from downtown Austin. This bright, beautifully-renovated one-story home comfortably sleeps 4 in 2 BRs. Large windows throughout let in tons of light and offer great views of the backyard, with its gorgeous live oak trees and comfy deck. The unique window treatments provide privacy without blocking the light. High vaulted ceilings in the living/dining area and the BR create spacious yet cozy living space. Great Stay - Pet Friendly!

House was perfectly located and well stocked for cooking. IT was very comfortable and the perfect place for a week visit with our kido in Austin!

Comfortable, quiet, well-equipped

Karen's house shows she is considerate of every need you might have. Kitchen is very well equipped with appliances, cookware, and even spices. Beds were comfortable. We used the televisions and DVD player, and even connected our computers via our own HDMI cable to watch our movies and exercise programs. When we arrived there was a problem with a smoke detector. We called the number she gave us for her handyman and he fixed it promptly. We enjoyed the birdsongs, especially the white winged doves. The location is convenient for both town and country outings, yet in a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated having the garage. We used the washer and dryer, hair dryer and iron. It felt like being at home. Thank you Karen.

A great place to stay in Austin.

The house was clean and well-appointed. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. Being able to park in the garage and have the door opener was a big convenience. The location gives easy access to several of the main Austin connection roads.

South Austin Gem

We loved our stay at Karen's lovely South Austin home. The house was clean, welcoming, and well appointed. Check in was flawless, and our first impression of the house was extremely positive! Karen was a wonderful host, that was very much in tune with us. She even upgraded her Dish satellite account so that we could watch Sunday football! We were blown away by the kind gesture! We plan on staying at Karen's rental every time we travel to Austin. Hopefully the house will be available!

Austin visit

The house and location were great. The check in was terrible- they didn’t send info so after 2-1/2 hours and many calls to the owner and Vrbo customer service we finally received the info to be able to enter the house. Upon entering the house, every lamp was unplugged which made it difficult to navigate. After lamps and tv and modem plugged in, our stay was nice, although one bedroom fan wasn’t operating. The cleaning and Vrbo fees are high and we were required to take out an insurance policy which was ridiculous.

Wonderful stay in local neighborhood

We are so happy to have had the opportunity to stay here. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the access to a nature preserve close by. The place was clean and tidy. The host was accommodating, responsive, and kind. The backyard was such a gem with live oaks, a garden, and a raised porch. We would definitely recommend this place, and hope to come back to Austin again. There is so much to explore!

Spring Break 2023

It was the perfect place for us. My husband and I have a 15 yr old and an 11 yr old. A couple of nights we walked around the neighborhood, which is clearly thriving. The backyard was perfect for chilling at the end of busy days. Everything was clean and comfortable. Thank you!

Comfortable home for family vacation

My family of four stayed here for a week. We had no problems, and It was so much nicer than a hotel room! We had space to spread out, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, and dining room. We made use of the full kitchen and washer and dryer. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, while also having stores and restaurants nearby. Karen was friendly and helpful and communicated well.

Beautiful Home Away From Home

Karen has a beautiful home that is cozy and comfortable. The backyard was perfect for soaking up some needed sun and warm weather. The kitchen has everything you would need, and the beds were comfy. We had to reach out to Karen for a few things as she had bought a new HVAC system and we had some issues with that. She got back to us as soon as she could, and did what she could for us. I'd go back again in minute.

Wonderful home and owner.

My husband and I were in Austin for two weeks to visit our daughter. Our stay in this lovely home could not have been better. The online photos, while accurate, don't really reflect the beautiful and spacious layout. My best description is that it is tranquil and inviting throughout. The kitchen is a dream and provided everything we needed to prepare our Christmas Eve and afternoon dinners. Sprouts is right around the corner for grocery shopping. Whole Foods and H.E.B. are nearby, too, as well as many other stores and restaurants. We would love to return when the weather is warmer to take advantage of the grill and spacious backyard. While we were in town, we enjoyed an evening at the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, an art fair/music festival Austin tradition. Great fun! It was a pleasure dealing with Karen, whom we would love to meet someday. She responded quickly to all of our inquiries and even contacted us during our stay to ensure that all was well and to our liking. Yes! We definitely recommend this lovely property and its caring owner.

Great location

Karen was very accommodating to our needs and a great communicator. The backyard is very dog friendly and my pups loved running around, plus it comes with a BBQ! The kitchen is nicely done and very easy to cook in. The location of the home is superb and neighborhood is very quiet, quaint and comes with great neighbors. The home is nicely appointed and works well for a short or long-term stay.

Cozily Convenient

We were pleasantly surprised after some skepticism from not seeing it first. The place was clean, nicely decorated and convenient to all the great things Austin has to offer. A great backdrop for our entree into Austin!

Absolutely enchanting

Location was perfect to enjoy all of the activities Austin has to offer but also enjoy the calm quiet of a beautiful neighborhood. The Property owner went to great lengths to insure we would be comfortable by insuring we had everything we needed. The home was beautifully furnished for comfort. It was the perfect transition home as we relocated to Austin.
