Description and reviews are spot on . We wanted to be near to Blenheim Palace. We were. We wanted a comfortable and private place. We got it. The kitchen was well equipped. The large bed was very comfortable. We received a lovely warm welcome from Janet and Mark. We highly recommend Manse Cottage
Lovely property with wonderful garden and quiet position, perfect for relaxing after our weekend full on equine course. Wonderful hosts who provided everything you could wish for from tea and coffee to cereals, jams and honey. We visited Churchill's grave and nearby Woodstock. Blenhiem is only over the road and you can walk into the parkland. Well done to our hosts!
The property is equipped to the highest standard in a lovely location.
The hostess is friendly and helpful.
This is our third stay and hope to stay many more times.
The cottage very good. It just advertised and more. Janet and mark were wonderful to deal with very well organized. Nothing was left to chance. This stay was just what we needed. This is worth staying at and if we return to the UK this will be the first place we book. Thank you
Manse Cottage is ideally located to visit Blenheim Palace (a 3 minute walk takes you to pedestrian gates) & to explore the wider Cotswolds region. It is furnished & equipped to the highest level & you feel 'at home' as soon as you walk through the door. I knew Janet was going to be a fantastic host when she messaged me to ask our milk preference! And she most definitely did not disappoint. Thank you Janet. We will look forward to staying at Manse Cottage again in the future.
Great location for visiting the Christmas light trail at Blenheim - just a 20 minute walk away. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very well equiped, and warm & toasty on a -4degC night. Janet was a very welcoming & helpful host. Highly recommended, and we will certainly book again when we're next back this way.
Janet really goes the extra mile with the cottage and how well presented it is. Every little touch adds to the magic and she’d made it all festive for the stay - lovely and very considerate.
It’s close to so many things - Woodstock is Great and Blenheim palace is also on the doorstep.
Manse cottage had everything we needed for our short stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Janet was very welcoming and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if in the area.
Excellent location just by gates to the palace gardens. Great if going for evening entertainment. Host (Janet) was very helpful cottage was clean with everything you needed. We stayed for two nights definitely will return.
The hospitality at this cottage was the best we have ever had. So near for blenheim palace visit and oxford. Made very welcome, will definitely re visit
We loved our stay, the cottage was fantastic and really clean, Janet and Mark have thought of every detail and there was nothing lacking at all. It is a very quiet place and very close to the Costwolds, Oxford city and Blenheim palace, we loved it so much we are returning soon for another break!
A cute little cottage with so many thoughtful little extras. Spotlessly clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are lovely and welcoming. It really felt like a home away from home.
This is an excellent property in a good location for visiting Blenheim, Oxford or the Cotswolds. Exactly as described it is well equipped and tastefully furnished and decorated. Warm and friendly welcome from Janet and Mark was much appreciated as was the provision of tea cakes, fruit, milk and tea/coffee in the cottage kitchen after a long journey. Definitely planning to stay here again.
Me and my other half had an amazing stay. The cottage is beautiful. And we was looked after very well. Only down fall was there aint any takeaways near by, and no one delivers that far out. So we had to drive 20 mins to go get some food. Apart from that it is a fantastic place to stay. Will definitely be going back :) Thank you so much.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay with hospitable hosts. We loved the easy walk to WC grave/church and then Blenheim Palace. Lovely spot and all amenities available at this home away from home.
My wife and I enjoyed our four day stay near Blenheim Castle. This cottage is well equipped, the owners are quite friendly, a great place for a short stay.
