My family and I wanted to get away for the weekend and booked this cabin on the river hoping for a good time but it wasn't, it was a GREAT time! The pictures don't do this cabin justice, it's really beautiful inside and out, the scenery is gorgeous and the quiet sounds of the river are wonderful. With the 3 bedroom/3 bath open concept cabin, there was plenty of space for my group of 9 and my toddling granddaughter. They also had literally everything you would need already there soaps, cleaning supplies, towels, laundry soap, dishes, coffee makers, games, TVs, plenty of seating, etc. We were sad to leave but made some awesome memories!
My whole family enjoyed this beautiful property. The views and quiet were just what was needed to slow down and just breath. The hosts were alwaysresponsive
This was our best vacation yet! The pictures do not do it justice. The location and property are so serene and close to Diamond Crater Parker. It is great place to relax, recharge, and reconnect. 4 days was not enough time!
We will be definitely be back.
Our family spent 3 great days at this wonderful cabin.
It was so wooded, secluded and serene. Just what we were looking for. A beautiful setting, surrounded by trees, and a river. We enjoyed the deer every morning and evening. And the inside could not have been any more perfect. Everything you would need. Very comfortable furniture, and plenty of it. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer! We will definitely be back!
When we each walked in our first view of the river down the way was our favorite part! The big windows allows the outdoors to come inside. We had a large group of 9 plus 2 small ones.
I love the river and the access is not easy for everyone (the older folks), but beautiful. It was spacious, clean, great views and quick drive to local places (Dino Dig, ice cream, lake, river access). We really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our time at Eagles Nest. Great cabin for our family. Close to the Crater of Diamonds State Park.
Eagles Nest provided everything we needed for our family getaway.
Very clean home, home had everything you’d need for a stay. Beautiful views. Access to water is great, crystal clear water. It was my daughter’s 16th birthday trip, and they left us balloons, card, and cupcakes. Thank you to the host for making it special!
Air conditioning outage but overall a great place.
The cabin is gorgeous and very large for a family gathering. Other reviewers were not fibbing when they said the photos don't do it justice. It is wonderful! There was an unfortunate situation with the air conditioner freezing over outside and had to deal with 90 degree weather on the inside of the cabin for 12 hours. The owner's maintenance man was there within minutes but unfortunately, the HVAC guy was unavailable. It was a brand new air conditioner that was not installed properly. The problem was resolved by the end of the stay.
The reason for our family trip was to dig for diamonds and fish. Unfortunately, there were no diamonds or other gems and no fish in the river. The only wildlife we encountered were snakes and ticks :(:(
Overall, we would stay here again due to the attention from the owner, maintenance man, & the cleaning gal. Sometimes you just can't have the perfect family vacation LOL
Brought a family of 6, kids ages 1, 5, 10, 14 and two adults. We all enjoyed our stay. River access was a bit challenging but the view and environment was incredible. Big open kitchen that allows you to stay engaged with the rest of your group while cooking was nice. Bedrooms were clean comfortable best of all spacious. The cabin is within a 5 min drive from all the major tourist attractions. There is a book in the cabin that has details of all the possible activities you can attend while you’re there. The trout fishing just below the house was incredible.
We will book again !

Found just down the river from the of Old Factory Site (just a few minutes drive from downtown Murfreesboro, Lake Greeson and Crater of Diamonds State Park), the Henley family offers a secluded cabin on the banks of the Little Missouri River.
Why they chose this property
The cabin sits high on a rocky bank with a large shaded deck facing the water and dense woods. At the Eagles' Nest, you will find an unmatched view of the Little Missouri river while relaxing as the river flows below. Inside is room to sleep ten, with three bedrooms on a single floor, a pull-out sleeper sofa and two and a half baths. A full kitchen with ceramic counter-tops, refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee maker. You'll also find satellite and four flat screen televisions.
What makes this property unique
The 'Old Factory Site' refers to a water driven mill that was located just upstream from the cabin in the mid 1800's. There was once a community, then known as Royston, at the site. The huge timber grid of the mill's 160+ year old foundation can still be seen in the river (a short walk away).
