Awesome 4BR-2BA on Main Street! Huge porch, Stocked Pond, Wood stove, Dogs ok!

The cabin is fully stocked, cozy, newly remodeled, and sleeps up to14 (4 bedrooms, 3 with 2 double beds, 1 with a single Queen bed). All beds and mattresses recently replaced! Stocked pond and creek right on the property. Huge Leather sectional/Leather Chairs. Two bathrooms- both remodeled. Dishwasher, Huge LG Fridge, LG Front Load Washer/Dryer, "70" Smart Streaming TV, Basic Cable, Starlink Wifi, Blu Ray DVD player, Bluetooth Speaker for Phone/TV. Super close walking distance to shops and restaurants. Cozy wood-burning stove w/glass door, ample firewood included. Porch with pond, lawn, and mountain views. Propane grilling for BBQ, tank provided. NOTE: We also own and have available for rent the adjacent sunny 2BR/1BA cabin which sleeps up to 6 (2 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 hide-away couch bed). Great Family Gathering Location

This cabin is one of the best "fully stocked" cabins we have stayed in. It was wonderful to have the little pond so close as we had our grandkids with us. It ended up we were there for Greer Days and were front row for the parade with the festivities just a quick walk up the road. The kids LOVED it and all the goodies that were tossed their way! The cabin provided lots of space for everyone to eat, play games and just hangout together, which was really important to us. The only downside might be that the beds were a bit small - but did accommodate us all which was nice. Everyone gave me great feedback and really enjoyed their stay. I think we will definitely look to go back, and I will look to also book the smaller cabin on the property. That is such a great option when you have a larger group. I would recommend that if you are like us and love being outdoors, bring your own outside entertainment (i.e. cornhole, paddle games, etc.), but they have tons of indoor games, puzzles, to keep all ages pretty entertained! Also, this cabin is in a more open space, so if you are looking to be nestled in the pines you may be disappointed. For us everything really worked out great and a great time was had by all. Chris and Kate really have thought of everything to make your stay homey and relaxed. Everything we needed was covered! We would definitely recommend this cabin as it is very "large" family friendly!

Great Location in Greer for Sunrise Skiing

We were a party of 3 adults and 4 tweens/teens. The house isn't massive, but it was perfect for our needs. Molly Butler's a barely 5 minute walk and it's a nice stroll on the path to the end of the road. We couldn't have asked for more for a ski weekend...except we were wistfully thinking how fantastic it would be if there was a hot tub after a day of skiing! The only thing I wish was different, and it's minor, is if we could have figured out how to turn off the exterior Christmas lights so we could have better night sky viewing.

Pre Christmas getaway 2023

We had a wonderful chilled time. The town was beautiful and we beat the crowds before Christmas rush. Felt like the town was there just for our little group. House was very accommodating and host very prompt with helping. Will make a plan to come back for the summer.

Perfect Getaway

Spacious, clean and peaceful. We would certainly recommend this place for medium to large groups. Evening walks are nice because of its central location. We used the porch a lot for meals and relaxing. Great stay!

Family Vacation

Our stay at your cabin was memorable. Our first family vacation since my daughter had our first Grandson 5 years ago. Our kids are all spread out now, starting their own lives/careers in different areas and states, so to be able to bring them back to Greer was a dream come true. We spent a lot of time in that town when they were all growing up, so to bring new members of the family to a place we love so dear, was amazing. Thank you for the hospitality and beautiful cabin. Everything about the stay was as described. From check in to check out everything was easy. The space and yard area was perfect perfect for larger gatherings. There were instructions left on property for any questions you may have and the response time from owners was within a few minutes if you needed anything. Our family would definitely stay again!

Great stay!

We booked this for a quick weekend skiing trip with the family and dog. This cabin was perfect - everyone was happy! Clean and comfortable (especially the beds) with updated appliances and nice newly remodeled bathrooms. We most definitely will stay here again.

Weekend R&R

Hard to get all my kids in one place at the same time but this weekend I managed it. The cabin was everything we needed. The trout pond right next to the cabin was stocked, my boys spent most of their time on the bench with fishing poles in hand. My adventure guys found plenty of places to hike and explore around the cabin making their weekend a success. The cabin was roomy and cozy a small fire in the wood fire stove made it nice and toasty in the 30 degree nights. The kitchen was stocked with all I needed to make meals for all our days there. The owners were super nice with the small interaction I had with them but in all honesty they had the cabin so well stocked I had no need to reach out. Thank you for a wonderful weekend and letting us use your cabin.

Great weekend getaway for everyone!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and it was accommodating for everyone 7 people (ages 4 - 93) + a dog! It was very easy to find when driving through Greer. Quick walk to Molly Butlers for dinner if you feel like it. Although pets are welcome, there was no trace or smell that pets had stayed there. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything - probably the most stocked rental kitchen I've seen! It had a blender, crock pot, toaster pots/pans, plenty of dishes & silverware, large tub for extra beverages on ice, and many things I'm forgetting to mention. It was nice having a table and couch that could seat everyone. Between the heat and the wood burning stove, we were never cold, & the beds were comfortable. The pond is 10 steps from the patio and we had a great time fishing. We (and the neighbor from the other rental) both caught fish and they were jumping all weekend! Full size washer/dryer is great to have (but we didn't need it this trip). The smaller cabin is right behind and was rented out during part of our stay, but we never had an issue with close proximity. Kate was quick to reply to our one question we had. We have no complaints whatsoever. If we ever have a larger group, it would be fun to rent out both the cabins together.

Beautiful Stay in Greer

Comfortable cabin with everything we needed, Greer was beautiful, nice front porch, comfortable beds, located close enough to see animals, get groceries, go fishing. So nice to be able to do laundry and not have to worry about going home and unpacking! All the amenities were in great shape. I would come back at every opportunity.

Great Experience

Greer is our yearly destination. We arrived & found the cabin as advertised. Big roomy Cabin. CLEAN & well equipped kitchen. Clean bathrooms. Large front deck with plenty of seating. Large yard & the pond was a big plus. The kitchen was well equipped. A toaster or toaster oven would be a nice addition. The hall bathroom sink fixtures need tightening but Overall a more than pleasant stay & we hope to return next year.

Our family lives in Tucson but we have family roots back East. Chris is an avid cyclist, UTV rider and snow skier. Kate loves to ski too and is also an avid gardener, reader, and nature lover. Nick will fish from sunup to sundown if permitted. He will argue that we really bought the property in Greer for the trout pond. He loves to ski and play baseball. Elizabeth is an artist and her favorite thing about Greer is watching the dogs be free to run and play. We love our dogs Jazzy Winnie and the Boston Red Sox. Go Sox!

Why they chose this property

We have been visiting Greer for years and it has been a dream of ours to have our own place here. Now we have a home away from home in a beautiful place that is cool and green in the summer, has fantastic fall colors in autumn, is close to skiing in the winter, and has peace and quiet year round.
